Pros: Kids LOVE their classes and look forward to them and that's what matters to me. They have fun. They've grown so much and their confidence level has improved, especially my older twin daughter who used to always say, "I can't do it". Those words are minimal now.

Needs Improvement or Modification: Cleaner bathrooms, low or no cost shirts when kids rank up, more organization and structure when it comes to handling the kids that have a hard time taking direction.

Kidstrong Elmwood Park is not just an amazing program, but they truely get to know kids and families. I have seen my now 4 year old learn to manage his emotions. When he started, he would be upset if he wasn't the class captain, and now he cheers on the class captain. When he sees a friend upset, he goes to help. Our experience was great from start to finish. Booking our trial was simple, and getting into the facility was easy and stress-free. The website was user-friendly, and we received both an email confirmation right away and a helpful text on the day of, offering the option to confirm or reschedule.

When we arrived, we were greeted by Coach Q, who was very friendly and immediately made my son feel welcome. All of the coaches were personable, professional, and informative. Coach Joe took the time to walk me through the class itinerary, explained what to expect, and even checked in with me midway through the class.

With my son being on the Autism Spectrum. It was difficult to find a program that would be good and gentle to him. Or even want to work with him. You will be amazed at the programs and places that are not well informed or trained deal or handle children on the spectrum. It's heart breaking for us parents! I came across Kid strong on Instagram and tried it out..it turned out GREAT! THE MEET AND GREET was wonderful. Updating my review: I talked to Gina the owner and we scheduled to bring my daughter back for another trial class and it surpassed my expectations. My daughter as mentioned is very shy and timid but once she walked in the class she immediately was greeted and had the best time, which was a great feeling. Gina made my daughter’s experience very comfortable and welcoming. The coaches she had were amazing and supportive though out the class. Definitely worth giving the class another try and letting it all pan out. My daughter came up to me after and asked me to enroll her in the Saturday classes(which of course I did) so glad she’s joining the KidStrong group and grateful for Gina reaching out and helping me out.
If you’re thinking of trying out KidStrong I’d have to tell you to give it a try. I’m glad I did :)

We enjoyed being able to engage in the obstacle courses with our child, watching all the other parents and children interacting was also very nice. The staff were really helpful and supportive. My daughter had an amazing experience for her first class! She’s done other sports/classes and liked them but seeing her excel and the smile on her face while she accomplished various tasks was great. At the end of class she got the stamp! Which for her was a big feat as in the past she’s been terrified of get a stamp. It was the cherry on top! Great coaches and staff made for a great experience!

My son loves it here, the people who work there respect and enjoy working with the kids and parents. I felt very welcomed and like I was in the presence of friends and so did my son. The kids in class were kind and friendly to my son who was new. It was a great experience.

Every coach that we have worked with has been enthusiastic and encouraging. Every child brings a variety of strengths/weaknesses to these classes and the coaches navigate this so well. You can really see that the children and the coaches are having a good time.

They do an amazing job with the kids. EVERY SINGLE COACH is very involved, caring and so nurturing at the same time. My son looks forward to seeing all the coaches. This class has improved his listening skills, communication and physical activities.

One google search for something fun for my son here in Chicago and I was introduced to KidStrong. Both, my son and I fell in love once we stepped foot through the doors.
