First time using the pool at this location everything seemed awesome. No signs were on the pool that you could not swim. My friend and I walked in around 8:30am at this location to try their guest pass but was treated very disrespectfully by an older white, heavy set looking, with glasses, and was wearing black shirt. It escalated after telling him that I do not have the bar code available since the other employee who I did the process with from other day did not provide any bar code. He aggressively and sarcastically said, “I cannot just allow anybody to just walk in.” After my friend did the process again and had provided the barcode, he asked to see our driver license, he then threw it on the counter. That’s when I had asked him, “are you okay?” which triggered him and told us there are other gyms around and he did not need my comments.

As someone who truly admire LA Fitness and think of this gym as highly as other premium gyms like Equinox. I felt disrespected, not welcomed, and discriminated. Additionally, for someone who is currently service the military, did not expect to be treated like that.

I expect better than this and expect LA Fitness to really take more serious when it comes to hiring their employees and not just onboard random and unqualified employees.

Addison Xsport is the best location for this gym. Everyone is always so nice, helpful, and always so happy. I’ve been coming here for a long time and never had any issues. This facility is always clean neat and organized! Front desk staff especially is always so sweet and greets everyone when they come in always smiling and happy.The Sauna, infrared sauna and cryotherapy are so so clean as well as the pool. Kevin and Sal are by far the best GM and AGM as they both are so helpful with anything you need and any questions they answer right away. Nicole the FM has become my BFF here at this gym. She’s so friendly to all she’s always asking questions about my fitness journey and goals and always cheering me on. Brandon hands down the absolute BEST BEST TRAINER I’ve had in all the trainers I’ve ever had. He cares about your goals and fitness and will always make sure your hit them! So nice he’s always so happy and loves what he does to

This place is good since it's new, but I never knew just how much Xports look like car dealerships. This place has so many desks around for their associates to try and sell you something, it's crazy.

This place is also very packed at all times of the day, and it's hard to get in a workout sometimes since it seems like they don't have enough gear to accommodate all guests. They only have 3, flat benches, which isn't much. Some days I have to wait about 30minutes to get a bench.

The printed body fat percentage chart here that was brought out after getting tested by a fitness manager isn’t accurate. The WHO (world heath org) has a different chart. The XSport gym in Addison (etc.) uses their chart as a primary example of your health as per their personal trainer program criteria. It’s a similar idea as an bmi. They will tell you hard numbers per your body, which would not be accurate per other organizations or body styles. Any meeting with a manager regarding personal training will take 45+ minutes, specifically if they think they can make you commit. If you aren’t, you can expect to be treated as an ignorant person. I get the idea that since they think I’m large, I’ve never worked out in my life. I’m fat, not ignorant. No, the gym and all of this isn’t “new to me”. I’m fat, not uneducated. Please don’t assume a large person hasn’t been through weight loss and gain before. I’d bet you wouldn’t ask the same of a thin person.

Had a horrible experience at this location with "manager" Ben. He was rude and very dry, no care whatsoever of the patrons at facility. I purchased a two year membership that includes "ALL" recovery amenities, I had been using the Cryotherapy machine since I got my membership in June, never once had a problem, until now this person tells me is not included with my membership and it will be an extra cost of near $50 a month for a membership alone for Cryotherapy machine, mind you I live 20 miles away and I suffer from Fibromyalgia and this was the only way I finding relieve, so it was worth the drive for me. So he was very rude no validation to what I had purchase and just rude with absolutely no empathy or care for his patrons, he said it was my word against an ex employee of theirs and he did not care what I was promised. So, yes I paid $440 for absolutely no reason, as he did not care it all about what I was sold.

Not a fan of this location. They don't have hydromassage chairs. They don't have a standup tanning booth. The timer for the whirlpool is broken. The air vents above the whirlpool are FILLED with mold and debris. The exercise equipment is below what I use now which is Planet Fitness. One of the massage chairs is falling apart at the foot area. There are ZERO towels. There are ZERO bottles to wipe off equipment anyone uses. This is a really disgusting gym. The pool and sauna needs to be cleaned. No thanks

It's a decent gym with some extras that others don't have. If you buy a 2 year membership, it's worth it as I believe it is $549. If you don't, the monthly fee is a bit high. Lap pool was too cold to get in for me but the big jacuzzi was great. Basketball court is in need of some care and has no out of bounds except the walls. I would end up getting hurt if playing 5 on 5 as running into the walls is a problem. The machines were mostly free weights if that's what you want. Very good selection. Stairclimbers to treadmills were there but no rowing machine. (That's just my preference).
I went as a guest but was not told to bring a towel. (Every gym I go to even after Covid, supply towels). I befriended a gentleman who called the front desk as I was dripping wet after my shower. I dried off with paper towels by the time the manager ( who was great) brought me an XSport towel that was one of the tiny hand towels you use while working out. This was fine but when my buddy and me walked up front ( I put the towel next to the manager and thanked him) the guy behind the front desk was looking for me as they don't hand out towels and he wanted me to pay $9.99 for that towel. He was very adiment that I was going to pay as I could not help but laugh at him. He said since Covid the don't have towel service and I had to pay. When he asked where it was, I told him over next to his manager and he should go talk to him. When he came back, he said no charge but remembered there is no towel service there. This guy was a complete Ahole and turned 4 stars into 3. I'm not saying this a bad gym by any means, just remember-NO TOWEL SERVICE 😅🤣😂.

This location is a great layout and very clean and organized. On top of it, Andy the operational manager, is one phenomenal manager, and goes out of his way to ensure a great experience every time you’re there. I recently just went for a spray tan in their spa there and the machine wasn’t quite working right but he did everything he possibly could to ensure I had a great experience, even though there was a malfunction with the machine!!! He went above and beyond- by giving me a free UV tan, lotion packet because I didn’t have anything, disposable googles, and ensure that the machine was going to be fixed by a tech, and he was going to contact me when it was completed. On top of that he comped me two free spray tans for when it’s back and running properly!! he’s already been in touch with me to give me an update a day or two later I am impressed with the service he provided as well as the rest of the team there!! I will definitely be signing Back up for the self spa for that location alone because the service is outstanding and I highly recommend this gym for the people that work there and how much they went out of their way to make me leave with a smile on my face!

I went to this gym for a deal given by an employee which was a 10 dollar flat fee and nothing else just because I needed a gym that was open late during ramadan. At first it was really exciting and helpful and I even got the worker to sign up my friends for the same deal. A month passes and we assumed that we were all good but out of no where, my friends get an email saying there is a balance on their account from Xsport which shouldn’t be the case due to the deal the employee made with us. We were confused and talked to multiple people and even attempted to contact the worker but he ghosted us and left us with a bunch of charges on our account. We later found out he transferred and so when we asked for assistance in person, they had no clue what to do. And then even after struggling to get in contact with corporate and explaining everything to them. They weren’t able to do anything and made me keep going back and forth. The story has more details and goes on but I can’t bother with this place anymore. Worst experience ever and would never suggest anyone to go here.

I have been a member of Xsport for almost 10yrs at different locations throughout that time. I have now been a member at the Xsport in Addison since they opened. Every company has snags in them when first opening, but I feel like I been to recognize a few employees who truly go above & beyond to make sure this gym is clean, safe, and make you feel like family-- not just customers!
Brian Kravcar does everything he can to make sure your experience here is enjoyable and will listen to ANY and ALL of your concerns.
Andy is the face that greets you and has the kindest soul. He's very understanding, he treats his employees with respect and treats the members even better! He's NEVER standing still. If you see him- he's either cleaning something or making sure everything is the way it's supposed to be.
Scott Salvatore-- his personality is one of a kind and he makes sure to help anyone & everyone that he can. He is always answering questions and helping wherever needed.
Finally, Bianca!!!! Since Bianca has been here the ladies locker room has never been cleaner!!! She come in before her shift, makes sure everything is good, helps clean, and makes sure that the ladies locker room is ALWAYS clean, has soap, paper towels, etc. As a woman who is there twice a day with my family, I appreciate all of the effort she puts in to make sure everything is as perfect as she can possibly get it!! When you walk in on one of her shifts- her bubbly personality and big smile always makes you feel so welcome!!!

I used to love going to export before covid happened I would wake up late in the evening and get a nice workout in. However at one point during that time frame I decided to cancel and they said I couldn't until the end of the month which made no sense to me but I decided to go for it. I've gone on and off since however most recently I needed to do a similar thing and when I made the phone call the person who answered Mark who seemed like a very decent person was willing to accommodate to my needs. Unfortunately he was not able to do what he could on his end so he reached out to his manager Brian and that is where the tables turned. I explained to him that I would have a hard time making a payment this month and that I have tried to cancel several times as the experience with having to cancel at the end of the month seems to have happened more than once. I told him that it was my money that I was spending on the company and he said it's not yours. This got me upset because I work for my money. And as I continue to explain my situation to him he just decided to hang up on me without explaining why. I then called export fitness is main company and was helped by a very nice lady named Gabby she proceeded to tell me that she was willing to extend my payment date to when I was going to get paid and it made it very easy.If Brian didn't raise his voice at me and hang up I wouldn't probably not be as riled up as I am because their facilities are always great. I believe in honesty and this is not a promotion for Brian as much as it's an explanation as to how he handles professional situations unlike a professional. Thanks to him I will probably not be visiting that export in Addison Illinois ever again.

My home xsport is Melrose park and stop going to because they don't clean enough the restrooms shower and locker room and a friend recommended Addison and unfortunately is worse . The locker room seems like never never been clean since they open and the showers weren't the worst It had even mold on the side of the walls Toilet paper all over the place.

I’ve been going to this gym since it opened because of the location and the amount of equipment it has. It’s a good gym but it has been deteriorating ever since it opened. The locker room gets dirtier by the day, the sauna is disgusting and I don’t think has ever been cleaned, and it’s had one set of handles for the cable machines for a year now.

I don’t like making reviews but I’m just hoping this helps bring some change to the gym. The staff are great and so are the people who workout there. Management needs to improve.

Overall, I like this gym. The manager, Brian, clearly takes pride in his work and does a nice job of running the place, keeping the equipment working, and the facilities clean. Although cleanliness tends to suffer a bit on the weekends when the janitor is off.

The people that work there are friendly. There is a good mix of people at all ages, fitness levels, and body shapes. The attitude of the members feels overall supportive and affirming for those of us at the beginning of our fitness journey and beyond.

The main criticism I have is that talking to the staff during onboarding, or about almost anything afterwards, seems to always leads to a pitch for a personal trainer… a total time share sales pitch vibe, which I dislike. Also, my personal goals for going to the gym don’t seem to be the same as their assumptions about me, and I feel like it’s difficult to get them to listen to me and get the guidance/advice that would be useful. I think this is probably driven by corporate policy and how their performance is being evaluated (people respond to how they are being measured). That feels more like a company culture thing.

That being said, I would recommend this gym to my friends and family.

I was looking for a gym in the Area and found 3 to check out before joining. After going to XSport in Addison, I didn’t even bother going to the others. XSport has professional staff that keep the facility super clean. The manager, Brian, set me up with a free 7 day pass and was extremely helpful getting me the best rate with the most amenities which there are a lot of here. They have just about everything. The gym is spacious so doesn’t get over crowded. They have 2 saunas, whirlpool and pool. Locker room is big and they even have massage chairs and cutting edge cryotherapy. Very happy to have found this club. Thanks Brian. Keep up the great work!

xport lake street in addison il, is the worst place in customer service. I paid a membership for 2 years plus the cryotherapy they have, and every time I'm going to use the machine doesn't work, for one reason or another and the person they have as manager in cryo, has a disgusting attitude, I asked for the number of a manager to talk to him and he gave me the number of the one who fixes the machines, and when you want to use the coccon, the steam capsules or the one for the legs you ask them for help, and they say I don't know how to use, but you can figure it out, whattttttt aaaaa but they are great to do exercise there behind the counter instead of helping you, the worst in customer service, a total disappointment that hurts that im pay so much money in this place.

This Xsport is one of the newest in the area and it shows. It's clean and inspiring. We'll lit, most locations are so dark. It has the machines you need, but nothing more. Bench and Squat spots go fast when it's busy, but that's understandable. The pool, jacuzzi are clean. Basketball courts has area to sit and watch. This is my favorite location, as it's just big enough to spread out and has just enough of the equipment I need. Highly recommend this over other Xsport locations.
