Nathaniel gave me trouble at the front three times, claiming that I didn't look like me in the picture repeatedly. 3 times I had to walk back to my car to grab my ID and prove it. Fortunately the gym itself is nice, but don't come here to play basketball because the courts are reserved 80% of the time.

Today was my first time at this chain ever. Great facilities, mens locker room is great, childcare rocks & every piece of weightlifting equipment needed.
But, I asked if there’s a military discount and was told NO. For that reason, I probably won’t become a member.

I’ve been a member since 2018 and been to most gyms in the area , yet lifetime in my opinion is the best. The staff is personable and the gym itself is clean . Also , most of the equipment is updated with new items being constantly added and the pool/sauna area is always good experience.

Lifetime Orland Park is honestly the best gym I’ve ever been too. everything about it is just awesome. The gym area is huge and super clean, and they have every machine you could possibly need and it never feels too crowded which is nice. The staff are always really nice too, they actually talk to you and help you out instead of just standing around which I really like. The pool area is amazing, both the inside and outside ones are clean and relaxing, feels like youre at a resort and not even a gym.The food at the cafe is really good too, everything tastes good and it is all healthy. Every time I’m there it is great and it just makes me want to stay longer.

Absolutely love my time spent at Life Time! I bring my whole family. My boys get their hair cut by Michelle in the spa, I always grab a dynamic shake after a training session frkm the Cafe, my youngest has done camp, kids classes and PNOs for years and my husband and I have joined in on some awesome adult-focused events. When my kids were younger they did swim lessons and now do swim team and even get to compete! This is literally a one stop shop to a full day with my family. If we did all of the things we do at Life Time, it would take, at minimum, 8 different stops, not to mention, it would be more expensive AND be such a hassle driving all over town!

This gym has every amenity you could ever ask for if you're determined to be a healthy human being. Every employee from every department works their rears off, and it shows through the cleanliness and friendliness throughout. I've been a member at at least a dozen local gyms over the past 30 years, and would never say a bad thing about them, but put all of their best features under 1 roof, and you have Lifetime Fitness Orland Park. Also, I've watched my children grow up there and continue to want to go back, whether its to train, get spa treatment, and even become employees. I recommend this gym to any person that wants to improve their lives.

I find it very funny how you all charge an absurd amount for a monthly membership but don’t even have the amenities to match. None of your yoga classes are flexible to accommodate all schedules, and the fact that you have to pay separately for spa services is ridiculous. You don’t even have staff members to cover all classes and services. Not to mention there needs to be a women’s only sauna and jacuzzi area, it would be nice to not get stared at by creepy men while trying relax!

The facility has potential, but the experience is disappointing. From the moment you walk in, there’s an unpleasant smell that doesn’t go away. The sauna also smells bad, and, being unisex and a small space, it’s always overcrowded with no privacy or comfort. Overall, it feels far from relaxing. I am a member of oakbrook LT. Recently moved in this area and started visiting Orland-Park LT. I dont expect Orland-Park LT to be the same level as Oakbrook LT. However I hope management takes steps to improve cleanliness and member experience of this location also. Thank you

Black moms with kids, watch out!!
You and your kids will be subjected to hyper surveillance, threats of filing false police reports on your kids.
The pool life guards called the cops on me and harassed me multiple times this summer. No management was on duty whatsoever so obviously they weren’t the brightest bulbs in the box that day.
I pay thousands of dollars to feel relaxed and rejuvenated not anxious, triggered and watching my back for the cops.
Just take a look at the other google review below from people of color and how they are treated by staff at this facility. It’s a consistent pattern I wished I noticed before investing in a place with such culture.

I was a Lifetime member for one year, and I am leaving because I no longer feel safe in this space. As a woman of color with children, I experienced repeated incidents that left me drained and anxious instead of relaxed.
Staff called the police on me and my puppy, and I was threatened multiple times with false police reports involving my children.
My child, who has neurological needs, was banned without a clear explanation or accountability from staff.
While I paid hundreds of dollars every month expecting a supportive and family-friendly environment, I instead felt singled out, watched, and treated unfairly.
Lifetime promotes a culture of wellness and inclusivity, but my experience has been the opposite. Rules and treatment here do not seem to apply equally—especially if you are a person of color. I am deeply disappointed, and I share this to caution other families before they invest in this membership.

I brought my child who is 15 there last week we both have a membership & I was harassed for no apparent reason other than being a black single mother. I’ve been a member for over a year & never had this experience until the manager Deidra came & tried to kick me out unprovoked due to assuming my child WITH A MEMBERSHIP is underage. I felt ostracized embarrassed & humiliated & can’t help but to think it’s due to me & my child’s skin color. I’m sure they treat dogs better than how we were treated that day. Although my son is smaller he is of age & it has never been an issue until Ms. Deidra literally chastised us last week. Be weary of registering with this gym especially being a person of color you might become racially profiled.

Absolutely Worth It – Best Gym Experience Ever!
I can’t say enough great things about Lifetime Fitness. From the moment you walk in, you feel like you’re entering a luxury wellness resort rather than just a gym. The facility is spotless, spacious, and packed with top-of-the-line equipment for every kind of workout—whether you’re into weightlifting, cardio, functional training, or group fitness.
What really sets Lifetime apart is the range of amenities. The pools (indoor and outdoor), sauna, steam room, and spa make recovery just as enjoyable as training. The locker rooms feel more like those of a high-end hotel than a gym. And if you have kids, the childcare center is a total game-changer—safe, fun, and staffed by friendly, professional caregivers.

I’ve been a member at this specific lifetime for well over a decade & took a break from going since covid 2020 happened. Recently in the last 6 months to a year I went 2-3 times to play basketball & seen that one of the courts turned into a pickleball… then called recently and found out the other court is closed all summer long for kids camp.. I just dont understand why do that to all the athletes that came here to play and have a good time while meeting new people on the courts… taking away the basketball courts from those who wanted to shoot a few hoops or run a few pickup games is just heartbreaking

Very expensive. Everytime you turn around they are closing more things and charging more money. They used to have 2 basketball courts. Closed one to make pickleball courts and then only offer a few hours of open play. The rest of the time you have to pay extra. Just found out the other basketball court is closed all summer long during weekdays for their paid kids club. Rates go up and amenities go down.

This was an awesome experience.
We started with the aqua aerobics class which could have been better. The instructor was so busy sharing her details or chatting with the regulars. I was expecting her to be consistent with the exercises. The music tempo and her movements were too fast if you're moving in the buoyancy of water.
The staff was super helpful and quick if misaligned your locker combo.
The upstairs workout area was incredible. An array of machinery for every possible muscle group you want to work.
And lastly, the yoga class with Sarah was just the icing on the cake. Her class had a soothing musical selection and the poses were obtainable. lol. I will visit again. Get your New Year started off right.

This gym is exactly my style! I finally had the chance to check it out, and I was thoroughly impressed. While it’s pricier than the average gym, the numerous perks and amenities make it well worth the cost. Always had a great experience at this location, until recently I took my kids to swim and they said they had to get out the pool was closed. There was many other people in the pool. And the sign in front of the pool only stated that “kids under 12 who can’t continuously swim have to be supervised” nothing stated pool was closed. So the young girl comes out and yells across the whole pool since we were all the way at the other end of the pool, instead of walking up and letting us know. So I walked up to her and asked what she said and she said pool is closed. The kids under 12 can’t be in there so I walk back to take my kids out & let them dry and 1 min goes by and she comes up and says kids have to be off the deck in order for them to leave. And I said okay you don’t have to stand here go back over there. This whole interaction was very unprofessional and unnecessary for the money we pay every month.

I recently switched to a Humana Medicare Advantage plan and I found out that I have a benefit called Silver Sneakers. So today I was able to become a member of Lifetime Fitness in Orland Park for a monthly fee of $0. The hours I can use the club are limited, but now that I’m retired that shouldn’t be a problem. Jada helped me to sign up for the membership, and she couldn’t have been more helpful or welcoming. What a sweetheart! That you Jada for making the process so easy. And thank you for the welcome gift. I can’t wait to learn to play pickleball!

I am disappointed with the service I received at Lifetime Fitness today. Despite hot weather, the poolside cafe was closed, and the cooler of ice that members and lifeguards used was dumped out. When I inquired, I was told that someone from corporate had an issue with the cups being used, and it was a cost issue. I found this unacceptable, especially since our monthly membership payments should cover such basic amenities. I was given unhelpful suggestions and felt like my concerns were not taken seriously. As a member, I expect better service and hope Lifetime Fitness will reconsider its priorities and ensure that members receive the full experience they pay for, including having ice available by the pool during hot weather.

I’ve been a member since the place opened in the mid 2000s. It used to be really cutting edge and upscale relative to other gyms in the area. Now it’s not really that clean and it SERIOUSLY lacks enough equipment to support the busy hours at the gym. The most insulting part is that the membership prices have been skyrocketing while what you pay for at the gym seems to feel even smaller. I’m strongly considering moving to another gym that offers the same benefits, closer to home, and for a portion of the price at Lifetime. If any staff member is reading this, please introduce more equipment to the weight room. For a upscale $100+ a month gym, there shouldn’t be less bench racks than a public high school weight room. Also 6-8 total seats to use in the dumbbell area is insulting for the price. The introduction of more squat racks was a great idea, but the gym didn’t go further into introducing more equipment when they should have.

Having dedicated over a decade to my gym membership, a recent hiccup occurred when I lost my debit card and failed to update my monthly payments. To my surprise, upon entering the gym, I was informed that my membership had been canceled. Seeking resolution, I found myself dealing with the manager, Sarah Greening, who not only handled the situation unprofessionally but also raised my monthly rate to an unexpected $150.
What struck me was the lack of understanding and the blatant rudeness in her approach. Despite my willingness to resolve the issue and even consider the increased fee, Sarah's demeanor left much to be desired. I believe a more customer-friendly and empathetic approach could have retained a long-term member.
In light of this experience, I've decided to take my fitness journey elsewhere and explore what Edge Gym, conveniently located down the street, has to offer. Here's hoping for a more positive and accommodating fitness environment where customer satisfaction is a priority.

The facilities are fantastic, and the workers are all over courteous and helpful. Unfortunately, an overwhelming percentage of the type of members that go to this facility are apart of a culture that have little to no respect for the facilities or anything in their lives for that matter. You would think that a more expensive gym would equivalate to higher quality members.. this is not the case. Sadly welfare, and parents provide the membership for these many individuals, which lowers the quality and potential of this facility. This is not a rant but something, for individuals looking to find a membership here, to think about. I am still rating this at 4 stars because the facility and it's amenities are excellent, it really is a shame that around 63% of the members promote a low quality environment.

This place is a great example of corporate USA taking advantage of the consumer. They continue to raise prices by 15% yearly and reduce their cost by bringing in used equipment, reducing staffing that we pay for to offer amenities such as childcare, family swimming time and staff to clean after the filth that unethical members leave. Nothing in this gym is improving, only depreciating. The atmosphere was one of motivation, but now is like the night of the living dead with the amount of elderly folks that sit on equipment for 30 minutes thanks to the silver sneaker club. Save your money.

This gym sees heavy usage and it shows. I think for the volume of people there it’s doing well. It’s an older life time gym layout which is preferable since the free weight area and the machines area is larger and it has an outdoor pool area as well.
The water fountain filters need to be replaced more consistently, all are red. The toilet areas smell bad most of the time, I think given how much more usage they get, they need multiple time a day cleanings which isn’t happening.
They have to get more strict on allowing people bringing bags upstairs, it’s like a minefield with all the high school kids backpacks as well as gym bags full of who knows what camped out by the machines and some free weight areas.
Otherwise, for a very highly used gym, they’re doing quite well!

Really enjoyed this place for 3 days….
Then I log on to my account and it was terminated. I called to figure it out, and I just got sent to voicemail with no call bacback. The worst part about this is, I just got billed on the first of the month and now I can't even go all month

Working out at lifetime is great , this gym has everything I need to keep my body healthy and feeling good. The gym is really clean , all their workout equipment has been updated , and the staff is always greeting you with a welcome and a smile, hours are from 4am-12pm so workout times are very flexible. If you are interested in possibly going and touring the gym , Angelika is a great representative who is very accommodating and always has the customers best interest in mind.

I signed my family up a couple weeks ago. We love it so far! I love the variety of classes and that there are so many amenities. I love taking my son to the pool. My mom and I recently had a massage at the spa and it was literally the best massage we've ever had. My son loves his "gym school" and the cafe. The staff is always so friendly. This has been a good move for my family!

pay all this money to wait weeks for machines to be fixed. there are 2 standing chest fly machines. 1 has been broken for over a week and it’s still not fix and the other has been broken less than a week and that one isn’t fixed as well. ridiculous paying all this money meanwhile we wait for machines to get fixed

Back at this gym after about 15 years off. Still fairly clean and about the same as it was before. Staff and other gym goers are all nice. Only dings are that I wish the rock wall was open along with the unused indoor water slides for the kids.

Facility is dirty needs a top to bottom cleaning. None of the employees enforce the rules in the Hot tub. Children in diapers and a bit older are allowed into the hot tub and no one cares. Even when you bring things to their attention no one cares. Rates have increased with zero improvements. Now charging by the half hour for pickleball. When is it going to end ? Tried talking to the front desk person at the club, totaly did not care very rude and not customer focused. The next fun started when I got online to ask in the chat box. The guy I chatted with was just as rude and uncaring as club employee. This place is not worth $100 a month. Looking for a new club.

Any good reviews are employees and their friends offered deals to review well. The gym is rude, dirty and disorganized. Currently having to fight the personal Bluetooth speakers playing songs with “niXXXX” in it or extremely loud Arabic music that isn’t part of a class. The staff doesn’t uphold any rules whatsoever like huge gym bags, or personal loud speakers, so it’s turmoil and trash. They stopped caring and that’s why this gym will close. Shouldn’t have to buy top tier noise canceling headphones to drown out massive Bluetooth stereo style speakers.

Really rude employees made me get off the court in the middle of my practice the workers for the pickle ball court come in the middle of the day when they could come later at night when nobody is at the gym. I’m paying over $100 just to get kicked out in the middle of practice. If the gym doesn’t change I’m planning to cancel my membership and go to another gym.

I am an ex-member of Lifetime. Called a week ago, got a rude girl named Morgan on the phone. Was interested in getting a membership for my 5 family members. I wasnt understanding the way the details of the membership worked for 5 ppl and instead of being patient, she hung up the phone on me. EXTREMELY rude. Other Lifetime’s have better people, and I will DEFINITELY NOT be having me or my family join this location.
Great amenities at this location, kinda of dirty and run down compared to other Lifetimes. The lap pool is ALWAYS foggy and just feels gross. Staff was ok but could use better training on how to be professional and friendly, deal with issues and uphold the mission and standards of Lifetime. This location has definitely slipped from Lifetime’s vision and right way to run things

The one star has nothing to do with the staff (99% of them are amazing). The one star is bc there is ALWAYS something closed/broken at this location! And its not just for a few days. It doesn't get fixed for weeks or even months. It's ridiculous! Not to mention the fact that membership fees just went up again without any notification at all. I've also left two different messages for the General Manager of this location on two separate occasions and have never gotten a response.

Staff and members that I interacted with are friendly.
With that said, the facility is undoubtedly the worst maintained one I’ve been to. The showers smell horrid. It’s a mixture of sewage and really smelly well water. The floors from the locker room out to the pool are covered with brown tracks. The wood in the sauna is splitting. There is gum stuck on the wall in the sauna near the heaters. The basketball courts are covered in dirt, floor is slippery and there are a lot of leaves near the door leading to outside. There are only 2 blow dryers in the locker room. This is a huge disappointment.
In dire need of a nice clean gym in Orland or nearby because this is not going to work out for me.

Disrespectful employees are allowed to threaten you , argue with you and push you around but when you defend your self they canceled my fiends membership after a lifetime employee threw his jacket on the floor and threatened him 3 times ! Learn how to train employee’s ! Your going to lose a lot of customers! Law suit in progress no Safety for members what so ever even employees make you unsafe.

Tried setting up a birthday party for my son. Spoke to the coordinator, went over all details regarding the party. While on the call noted needing only to confirm length of party but asked to specific time/date and offered to put down a deposit to hold. Coordinator said we were all set, called back to ask a question a few days later and learned they had not held the party, and had already rebooked it. Can’t believe it.

The monthly membership fee constantly goes up. I needed to put my account on a hold for a month due to surgery and was told I needed to notify a month in advance! Since when do we know a month ahead of time for emergencies! Also if you want to cancel your membership it also will not cancel immediately, your cancellation will not take effect for one month or one billing cycle. I've been with them for 13 years and their rules are becoming ridiculous! Maybe it's time to find a new club without so many hidden rules.

I want to send love to the yoga instructors at lifetime. Of all the gyms, lifetime has the best yoga game in town. Eva and Brenda are rockstars! I mean next level; their music, their inspirational words, the killer sequences - I just love taking their classes so much. Thank you for supporting yoga and bringing such a high quality product to the marketplace. I only have a membership because of yoga, and the outdoor pool. Thank you 🙏 I truly appreciate it.
