Love the small class sizes and the fact that the studio is across the street from my apartment! Great individual attention, unlike a lot of larger studios!

I’m a huge fan of LSQP! The studio is very welcoming and classes are accessible for all levels. Instructors regularly offer corrections to make sure you’re getting the most out of the movements. I’d definitely recommend checking them out!

I LOVE this place!
1) I have hypermobility/EDS/POTS/Dysautonomia and reformer pilates has helped my symptoms so much. I was originally introduced to it by my physical therapist, and now Logan Square Pilates + Core has been the best spot for classes to continue my practice! They are so knowledgeable and every teacher I have taken so far (Aileen, DeeDee, Molly) was aware of POTS/EDS and its implication in class, for example being helpful in transitions so I don't have to stand up and get back down again repeatedly. Obviously I communicate any needs w/ teacher but they are just great at accommodating! I feel safe and challenged, which is exactly what my nervous system needs in exercise.
It's basically my PT now but super fun (I like, crave going to class!), and also the movements themselves feel like tuning my nervous system to be more regulated (by growing mind + body connection). Ribs much less tight, also helping my thoracic outlet syndrome and head/neck/shoulder pain. Pumps blood for my POTS, building strength and stability everywhere in body, just so many benefits. But a top notch teacher is key and this place is so so solid!
2) Clean, spacious, really really nice facility and equipment.
3) They stand by their value of inclusion w/ the equity wellness program which is so great. <3 And just such a welcoming place!

The most overpriced Pilates studio in Chicago! Ladies, please do your due diligence and look elsewhere. I just moved from NYC and visited this studio with a friend, it’s new, but completely disorganized. The waiting area was cluttered with random items, and there were odd art pieces and easels scattered around, which made it unclear whether it was an art studio or a Pilates studio.
Once class started, the reformers felt cheap and didn’t have that smooth, controlled glide you’d expect if you’ve done Pilates before. The instructors were just okay; nothing special. My gf actually considered joining thinking it would be on the cheaper end until we saw the prices and were so absolutely shocked we were laughing hysterically.
There are far better options in the city Ive found like FTP ( which has been open since 1999 and has some of the best instructors anywhere) and offers “unlimited” equipment classes for around $300, without all the excessive rules and mandatory three-month commitments this place has. Circle is also good IMO. Oh and don’t forget if you drive you have to tack on the four dollars for the one hour of parking.
This place needs to bring their pricing down to earth.

I’ve taken a lot of classes, and honestly Daniel is my favorite pilates instructor. He always has modifications to go into even harder poses and I always leave the class feeling like jello in the best way possible! Chair is extremely challenging but Daniel gives me the motivation I need to keep coming back week after week!

i've been to a lot of fitness Studios in my day and this is a fantastic one. Especially their new location (just across the street from the old one). It's clean, spacious, and professionally run. I really like all the instructors and everyone is at a very high-quality level. They welcome people of all different abilities and skill levels, they encourage and respect diversity and a supportive community

This studio has been so welcoming and approachable. I remember feeling intimidated and too scared to try Pilates but I fell in love with it and really think the staff here made that happen. All great instructors and now they’re in a much larger space with more openings and class options, but I appreciate that the classes are still small. I recommend it to anyone who will listen!

Can’t say enough amazing things about this place. The staff are all super helpful and welcoming and the teachers are all great but particularly love Daniel’s and Aileen’s class they are definitely harder than the average Pilates class and definitely getting a good sweat. Also, love the studio it’s massive. Great to see them expanding!

I attended a class a few days ago. Overall it was fine but the instructor made frequent hands on adjustments without ever asking for permission. At the end of class the instructor came up to deepen my stretch and my knee popped. I've now had to deal with pain and difficulty walking on that leg. I've not been able to workout since and will have to see a physical therapist. I'm also shocked to read another review from a year ago about adjustments without consent. I've been to many studios and that has never been the norm.

I have been taking classes here for just over a year now, and I can't speak highly enough of this studio. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, and all the instructors invest genuine interest in helping you succeed in your workouts. I love that they offer just enough of a variety of class types to keep things interesting, and there are always modifications offered during the class if I'm still working up to something, have an injury, or my body is just not capable that particular day. Pilates has been the only form of fitness I've been able to be consistent with (especially for this long!), and I have the crew and the other clients at LSQP to thank for a lot of that. The environment is so much more welcoming and less "intense" feeling than most other gyms/studios I've gone to, and that's a huge part of what keeps me coming back. If you are looking for an accessible introduction to mat and/or equipment pilates, LSQP is the perfect place.

Update: five stars not just for instruction & quality of classes but also for the kind humans at the front desk!! Triza saved my Valentine's Day by quickly helping track down a fellow classmate who had the same shoes as mine and accidentally wore mine out of the studio. 😅 Triza acted fast messaging everyone who had been in in the studio & was incredibly kind keeping me company while I waited. Thank you Triza!!! I am still so glad I listened to my Physical therapist and started taking classes regularly. Love all the instructors I've worked w/, esp. Molly, Chris & Aileen who all help ensure good form and fun. An hour goes by so fast! I have a monthly pass for floor classes and really value scheduling out weeks in advance.

I saw DeeDee for personal instruction for a few months and it was one of the best experiences! I even got my partner to do duet sessions as well.
I have a disability that impacts my muscles and I was quickly losing my strength and really thought hope was lost since physical therapy wasn't enough but my body wasn't strong enough for strength training either. My neurologist reccomended pilates but said it was important I found a place that could be accommodating. My sessions with DeeDee were AMAZING! She really matched my energy, customized sessions to my needs, and really helped build up my emotional and physical confidence in my body. I never thought I'd see the day where I can get out of a chair without using my hands or just get up from the floor. Hello core strength and knee stability! I thank DeeDee for these new abilities! I was so nervous before signing up because fitness studios can be a scary place for someone with a physical disability but DeeDee was so welcoming- the whole space was/is. I even told my neurologist about DeeDee so her other patients could easily find a studio that is welcoming.
I have learned a lot and can't wait to come back for more sessions in the future.

Logan Square Pilates & Core Studio is such a wonderful space! The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating an environment that feels inclusive for all body types and fitness levels. Their focus on holistic health really sets them apart, and they do an amazing job of accommodating individual needs and skill levels.
Daniel is an exceptional instructor—his expertise and thoughtful guidance have made a huge difference in my progress. My core is stronger than it has ever been, and I feel so much more confident in my body. This is my first foray into Pilates and I now go at least twice a week because the results and the supportive community keep me coming back. I can’t recommend this studio enough!

Started classes last December not knowing anything about Pilates, and have been going regularly since. All the instructors are so helpful, and I've learned so much!
ETA: I've now been consistently taking classes here for more than 4 years. Every instructor and class style brings something new to learn and feel accomplished about without ever getting boring or overwhelming. The focus is on improving movement but also having a good time, particularly private sessions with Chris and Kara. Definitely recommended!

Everyone that works here is honestly amazing! Ray is always so helpful and kind and welcoming. Unfortunately I had to cancel my membership due to medical reasons but this is one of my favorite studios in Chicago. It’s such a quaint small studio and it really feels like you’re getting one on one training. If you’re debating starting Pilates this is the place to do it. They have fair prices and amazing instructors. I hope to be back in the future.

This studio is my home away from home! Everyone is incredibly welcoming and the instructors do an amazing job of personalizing their instruction and making sure that you are using proper form. I had never done reformer Pilates before a few years ago and now it's a core part of my weekly routine. Other studios are either so big that you can't get the individualized instruction needed to ensure proper form and improvement and/or feel very exclusive and cater to specific body types. This studio is all about showing up as you are and doesn't feel intimidating in the way that other Pilates and yoga studios might.

Logan was condescending and put her hands on me in inappropriate ways. She was condescending when verbalizing adjustments and placed her hands on my body and applied pressure in an uncomfortable way.
She jammed her fingers into my abdomen pinning me to the reformer without asking for consent. When I said “no thank you” she HELD HER HAND ON ME and started to explain. I had to repeat “no” several times. This is absurd.
I’ve taken reformer for 10 years and have been to at least 4 or 5 studios in Chicago and LA. I’ve never had this experience.
Since you the business has mentioned they are sure no one “intends” to be condescending, I am sharing a review left by someone else where they stated they were made to feel uncomfortable by this instructor and that she was getting frustrated with them. What this instructor intends is really not my business but how they come off is what I am communicating here. Do what you will with this information.

I started going to LSQP about a year ago, in fall 2021 as the weather was getting chillier and I was looking for a way to get some movement in my schedule. Like many people, I have a complicated relationship with working out, filled with dread and former desires to change how I look, I stopped going to gyms during the pandemic and was hoping to find a way to get stronger again. I was absolutely thrilled at what I found. I started with a launch pack of private Pilates equipment (reformer) sessions before eventually moving to group classes. I’ve been going 2-3 times a week for a year now and I love it. I always leave feeling better both physically and mentally than I came in. The instructors are intelligent, kind, funny, and skilled. They are also attentive to students and remember their progress, injuries, and personal/life details. LSQP is welcoming and inclusive. The space itself is clean, airy, and contemporary—not to mention well-located in Logan Square! I cannot speak highly enough about LSQP. LSQP really taught me that there are ways of moving my body and getting stronger that I can look forward to.

I found Logan Square Pilates several years ago (pre-pandemic) while searching for a place to help me combat work-related stress with exercise and also remedy back pain from too many hours sitting at a desk. At first, I stuck to their Cardio WERQ classes which were a very fun way to blow off steam from the week on Friday evenings (and great exercise). I then ventured into pilates mat and equipment classes. I had done some mat in college (many years ago) but had never tried equipment classes. The instructors were all consistently fantastic, and I eventually graduated to all of their formats (chair, barre, yoga, jump board, mat, advanced pilates equipment, stretch and strengthen, etc), often attending five times a week before the pandemic. The space has a ton of natural light in the front room, and is very body-positive. I like to work out in the mornings and love getting all the light while moving my body to start my day. Many of the instructors I started with have since left the city, but the new additions have maintained the same quality I've come to expect from this studio. I've worked with Wendy on almost every Tuesday morning since the studio reopened in 2020 and have recently started consistently attending the level 2/3 class with Logan on Wednesday mornings, where she is sure to "bring the thunder" in a very fun but still challenging way. In short, I can't recommend this place highly enough, regardless of your prior experience with exercise, body-type, etc. I hope more of the community finds it and all of the tremendous benefits it can bring to your life!

I have been attending pilates equipment and mat, as well as the occasional Barre class, since March 2018 and can not possibly speak more highly of this studio. As a person who has always found it difficult to connect with yoga, yet who needs more structure than just visiting a gym, I am happy to report that I have found the right kind of atmosphere for me. I started as a pure beginner tempted by the great new client package offers, and within a few weeks i was hooked, finding that my posture dramatically improved, the longtime aches and pains associated with frequent car and air travel dissipated, and my body in general was stronger and more balanced. There are enough instructors in this fairly small studio to suit many styles: classical, more high-energy and intense, and a more gentle, stretching-and-breathing focus. The monthly membership packages can save a ton of money, and duet "semi-private" sessions are excellent as well. Give it a try! Sincerely, a former skeptic.

I've been to a fair share of Pilates studios across the US, and this is definitely one of the greats! The classes have been consistently good and challenging. The studio space is split between equipment and mat space, but they do a great job of making sure the class noise doesn't bleed between. Also, pretty great pricing for the city and class size!

I started going last July. It's really nice to have a forward thinking studio for yoga, pilates, and barre. Somehow this has been missing in Logan for several years.
The instructors: Aileen will challenge you but make you laugh- even when you're having a bad day and didn't think you could muster a smile, the humorous way she explains moves will bust any mood I'm in. Olivia will whoop your butt into shape- she's sharp, her cues are understandable and I feel empowered in her classes. Jackie and Mandy's classes challenge me as well, and I've mostly been with them on equipment and they make adjustments and instruct me in a way that I feel super chill and comfortable, while also getting a great work out in. Jennifer and Michelle keep me zen while my body gets those muscle shakes. Amy brings the 90s R&B jams while keeping me smile on Saturday mornings when I'm the most exhausted (going in regretting you signed up because you're tired, and then she throws on something like K-Ci & Jojo and you can't help but laugh while your core is internally screaming).
Along the way- the studio has clearly listened to their members and made adjustments to keep people happy. Like adding the cubbies in the front now, so that that front room has more privacy from the street. Offering new classes, expanding the schedule, weaving in workshops and events. They also are involved in the neighborhood and support local businesses.
I'm hard to motivate, so their regular challenges get me going.
The front desk is so kind and on top of their game. I'm greeted with a smile every time I walk in.
Chelsea, one of the owners, is always fun to share a class with and she's been a great contact.
The women who own this studio (because it's a WOMEN-OWNED business!) are proud and really happy and you can tell.
I think the only thing Logan is missing now- and I'm really desperate for it- is some heated, hot yoga. So... if ya'll can ever expand, please please please have a room that can get all hot. I miss that so much and don't want to get in my car to get to it. Hint hint hint. <3
