this is the best yoga studio , every teacher is a 10/10 no matter what yoga class you take you will leave with a unique amazing experience. every teacher is highly trained & extremely passionate. the shop is stunning in itself every item in the shop comes from a small local artist or business. the owner molly is extremely kind & friendly. i checked out and tried every yoga studio in a 20 mile radius and this was by far my fav and in my personal opinion, consistently the best by far. 💗🫶🏽

I have been going to various yoga classes at Lumi for 2 years. This studio is soo welcoming and the variety of classes they offer is wonderful. I have been able to find times that work for my schedule and am so happy to have Lumi in my health and wellness routine! Great job Lumi!

I was at CorePower for about a year and a half before we moved to Mount Prospect. When a friend recommended Lumi, I gave it a try with a trial week. With nothing against CorePower, I cancelled my membership and never looked back.
I’ve taken several different classes with several instructors and enjoyed each one. I love that it’s locally owned, love the community of people there, and even loved the birthday party my daughter had there. It’s just a great place. Highly recommend!

I just did a chair yoga with Laurie F. I haven’t done yoga for a long time so I’m pretty creaky. This was the perfect class. It was low impact yet my muscles felt warm and loose afterward , including my shoulders and neck ( which are always tight). Laurie is an excellent instructor, with a calm and friendly demeanor. The shop in the studio is filled with cute clothes and knickknacks and holistic health supplies . It’s bright and cheery and clean. I highly recommend coming here.

I love this studio!!! Every class I have taken, I walk away feeling better, meeting new people, and grateful for the talented Yoga teachers that lead each class. Yoga is for every BODY. The studio is welcoming and is building a nice community of fellow yogi’s. 🧘🏻‍♀️

I am really excited to have Lumi in Mount Prospect! I have attended over 25 classes with 9 different instructors so far and I love it. No two classes are the same, the people (instructors and students) are outstanding, all classes are appropriate for any level of yoga experience, and I love having a little gift shop with quality items that support small businesses. Lumi is a wonderful positive addition to the village of Mount Prospect. The boutique has a lot to offer, lots of local vendors too.

The classes are wonderful. My favorite classes since the opening have been with Grace. She is knowledgeable, calm and inviting, and creates a non judgmental & supportive space to practice no matter your skill level. I look forward to trying more classes & instructors in the future.

I have missed practicing yoga in an actual studio. I stopped into Lumi at their Grand Opening Event and felt the Good Vibes as soon as I walked through the door. I signed up for my 1st class and Laurie did not disappoint with her Balance & Fit class. I can't wait for my next class...I highly recommend arriving a little bit early to take in the Aroma and Sights of the Shoppe.

Molly meets you on the mat where you are, and has the most welcoming, calm demeanor. Her classes flow naturally and with intention. She includes thoughtful passages that stay with you after class is over - and she’s amazing with kids too!
