Yoga studioAbout the Club
At Marigold Yoga, we teach students with a range of abilities in a welcoming, student-centered, and positive environment. We specialize in yoga for beginners, plus-sized folks, people with injuries, or people who have felt left out in other yoga spaces.
We invest in making yoga available to as many people as we can. Almost every class is livestreamed (still!) and Pay What You Can is readily available for most classes, as well. All classes are taught following trauma-informed best practices.

I love Marigold Yoga, the teachers and classes. Their mission of making it for everyone is so true. Being an older yogi with chronic lower back issues, I never thought I would leave my chiropractor. But after a number of Rx classes and some work shops, I no longer see the chiropractor! And that makes me happy. β€οΈ

I take restorative, Yin and gentle yoga and I come out of there feeling like a new human, in terms of my body and mindset. Janeβs guidance is clear but not imposing. She gives lots of opportunities to do your own thing if you prefer. The candlelit classes on Thursday nights are amazing. The space is beautiful. And the prices are very fair. I pay $60 a month and can go 4 times. That works for me now but when I can do more I will.

I am so glad my friend introduced me to Marigold. For years I had done yoga off and on--through the parks department and online. But I struggled to find a studio where I felt comfortable. Marigold is conceived from the ground up as an inclusive studio. There's no judgement here. Everyone is welcome. There's no size talk or shame talk. Just good vibes. Everyone's body is different. It's nice to have a place where we can all do yoga together.

Marigold is a welcoming yoga studio with teachers who are knowledgeable and accessible. Unlike many yoga studios I've been to, Marigold is not a place to compete or test your mettle, but a place to stretch, relax, and take care of body, mind and spirit. It is a truly inclusive space with a community of friendly folks. I've been doing yoga for over 50 years (yikes!) and this is by far the best yoga studio I have experienced.

What a wonderful and welcoming studio! I did the RX class with Jane and it was phenomenal. I have a number of physical injuries and this class was perfect for me. Her instructions were excellent and I felt very safe the whole time. I felt so good by the end of class that I didn't want to get up :)

Everyone there is friendly and approachable, especially for newbies!* I always leave in a better place, physically and mentally, than when I arrived. Thanks Ganesha!

Love this place, such an inviting atmosphere for the person who wants teachers who care, always make you feel comfortable and truly love their job. Took my first Zumba here - so uncoordinated but seeing Christina's love for dance makes you want to go back. So many great teachers and a very welcoming environment for all ages!

I first visited Ganesha Yoga a month ago to attend one of the free dance classes, and I was very pleased with my visit. The staff was very courteous and the sales floor was well organized.
They directed me to the dance studio in the back. The class was directed by Cassandra Sun Owl Dara-Abrams. She is an excellent dance teacher. I was born with flat feet and not the best sense of rhythm, and not once did I feel overwhelmed or embarrassed.
Cassandra made the class fun and energetic. I would definitely return, and even refer my friends, if Ganesha continues to provide dance classes with instructors like Cassandra.

My first time at Ganesha Yoga in Chicago I felt very comfortable even though I had never done yoga in public before, only at home on the Wii. I felt challenged, yet not overwhelmed and I felt good about myself when I left. I would recommend Ganesha Yoga to anyone. Friendly staff, no pretences!! Loved that even more :)
