The instructors at MBS Pilates Studio are top-notch, brilliant, fun and inspiring! They consistently monitor the room to make sure everyone's form is correct to prevent injuries. They make sure each class offers modifications, so it is NOT a "one size fits all" approach. Explanations/benefits of each movement are always provided. Every instructor's teaching style is very uplifting and fills the space with positive energy! MBS Pilates offers much variety in their joint studios that encompass diverse types of movements mixing classical and contemporary variations for all skill levels. Moreover, the community members that belong to the studio are so kind and supportive. It's a very welcoming environment. If/When you join, I suggest the "Unlimited Membership"!

I started going to MBS about a year ago (reluctantly), when my sis-in-law gifted my wife and I a series of private instruction with Heather. My wife and I are in our 50's, so this was definitely something new for us. I have to say that I have really surprised myself to say that I've been a devotee ever since.

First off, the workouts are legit. You are pushed in every class, in the best possible way. And there are plenty of options as you progress and get stronger, to increase the intensity of the reformer, mat, body sculpt, and "bootcamp" classes, which are my favorite.

Secondly, Heather and her team of instructors are awesome. Super encouraging and welcoming, especially making a guy like me feel very comfortable, even when I didn't know what I was doing. They are very hands on to ensure everyone is using the proper technique and breathing at all times. And everyone taking classes at MBS are just as encouraging and fun. My wife and I have met a lot of great people! We couldn't be happier with how it's made us look and most importantly, feel.

I highly recommend checking MBS out if you haven't already, especially guys. MBS Pilates can give you as much of a workout that you can handle at any fitness level. It's definitely changed our fitness routines, energy and overall well being for the better!

I’m so grateful to have found this Pilates studio! The instructors are amazing and truly knowledgeable about proper form, which helps prevent further injuries. When I first came here, I was dealing with chronic shoulder pain. Thanks to Pilates and the support of the team, who helped me strengthen my muscles, that pain is now gone. They offer a variety of classes, and workshops including Pilates, barre, and yoga, at different levels, so there’s something for everyone and as you go you can continue to challenge yourself. If I could give 100/5 stars I would!!!!

This studio is the best. I’ve been going for 5 months and just hit my 100th class. All of the instructors are incredibly warm, friendly, and so so knowledgeable. I love that they have Barre, Yoga and more intense sculpt and boot camp classes in addition to pilates, so this can really be your one stop shop workout studio. It’s really reasonably priced for all that it offers! The class offerings all really complement each other. I’ve noticed such a big change in my strength, mobility and flexibility just over the last 5 months thanks to MBS! I’ve never found a workout or studio that I LOVE as much as this. I look forward to going (nearly) every day. I have never committed to a work out so frequently in my life.

The studio also caters to a ton of different ages and body types which I love.

It’s been 6 months and 57 classes so far, and I really enjoy being a member at MBS Pilates Studio. The teachers, members, and vibes are really warm, welcoming, and inviting. My favorite teacher is the fun and funny Amy Wrobel. I’m a plus-sized elder millennial woman and I always feel welcome and safe in her classes. Amy encourages me to gently stretch my workout in a way that doesn’t feel pushy or unsafe, and she always suggests accommodations for people who need it. Heather Rex, the owner, is also really wonderful, considerate, and generous. Both studios are always clean, feel luxe with higher quality props, and have great rotating music playlists that motivate. I’ve been a member of 3 pilates studios in the past, and this one is by far my favorite. I highly recommend!

This doesn’t happen often, so take note.😂

Never in my wildest dreams did I think that I, of all people, would become a yoga/pilates “girlie.” Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not there yet (and “girlie” isn’t really my thing)-but these ladies have helped me on my journey to becoming the best version of myself. It is an hour (sometimes two) that I have learned to take for myself. Between the incredible instruction and friendly banter and support, the MBS instructors have mastered the art of guided workouts in the most welcoming and enjoyable studio environment. These are workouts I actually look forward to on a daily basis (which has never come out of my mouth). It’s like I don’t even know myself anymore-and I mean that in the best way!!! I love this studio! I joined about 3 months ago and have enjoyed every class. There is a variety of classes to keep things fresh (scult, boot camp, reformer, mat, barre) and the owner and staff really go out of their way to create an awesome workout experience each time, in addition to building this amazing community. You can tell they love what they do and even the members are friendly and encouraging. They also celebrate your milestones with you (I'm coming up on 100 classes), create fun challenges (bingo and no springs November), and host different workshops (sound meditation with yoga, core, and prenatal). My back pain is gone and I truly look forward to each workout. and I also love that it's so close to home!

Heather is THE BEST! Patient, friendly, goofy, strong, knowledgeable…just everything you’d want in an instructor! Her studio is clean and comfy which makes for a fun and enjoyable class. 10/10 recommend! Every class begins with the instructor checking in with each individual student, taking note of any concerns (ie, "my back is sore today"). Every single class I've been to, anytime a physical concern has been mentioned, the instructor has paid attention to that throughout the class, and provided suggestions, modifications, and/or extra cues during the movements.

I’m Edie and love every one of the classes I’ve taken. The instructors are amazing - all (actually there’s one instructor I haven’t tried due to scheduling but I hear she’s great). What MBS has done for my strength, flexibility and posture is unbelievable. Just WOW! And just try it! I have been coming here for 8 weeks. I came in after trying to work through 2 years of chronic post-op leg pain which was impacting my ability to do other physical activities. I tried physical therapy more times than I can count along w/ weights & yoga . I thought I would have to learn to live with the pain and decreased physical activity—- SO HAPPY AND THANKFUL I FOUND MBS! The pain I had is receding and I am now able to participate in the other activities I also enjoy. I say “also” b/c pilates is now on my list of things I enjoy doing. This place and this team in 8 weeks has done what 2 years of other training couldn’t. Give it a try!

I've been meaning to write a review for a while. This studio and the instructors are fabulous. I have done pilates at every trendy spot in NYC and London - and I can honestly say I've never met instructors who care more about their clients than these ladies. Also if you're preggo, you want folks who are actually trained in prenatal pilates - you'd be surprised how few folks are actually trained! They even do prenatal workshops. It's a great studio with positive vibes - definitely worth it :)

I was nervous about trying Pilates I had always heard it was hard. And while I definitely struggled, Amy and Heather have been amazing at walking me through everything! If I’m not quite doing a move right they have given me personal attention to help me correct it. That is one of the reasons I quit yoga was I never knew if I was doing something right but nobody ever helped.

They have a variety of classes, they take the time to explain, to check on everybody from the class and if you need a modification they'll definitely help you. I still go to MBS Pilates. They've added some new pilates classes besides reformer - mat, sculpt and bootcamp. If I could go every day I would. It's that great. Clean studio, knowledgeable instructors.

I can't say enough good things about Heather and Ana's studio. Her instruction on proper pilates technique is excellent. My best feeling is the pleasant surprise of my clothes fitting better and I can shop for longer periods of time without my back being stiff because she's helped me develope better core and pelvic floor strength-all good things.
Their equipment is up to date. It's easy to park here.

Heathers Pilates classes are group classes with an intimate semi private feel since she is so in tune with each of her clients and what our bodies need. Heather is able to give each of us goals and help us achieve them regardless of our body types, strengths and weaknesses. MBS is a clean, fun and safe place to work out or get your body and mind in a good place. I must also mention Heathers ability to work with teenage boys and allow them to work out of their comfort zones! My boys specifically like the body activation to help their bodies recover after sports and I was able to get my freshman in the studio for a class and he really enjoyed the strength and stretching!

Heather is an amazing instructor and a wealth of knowledge. Taking classes with Heather is easily the best thing I have done for my health. Her instruction is outstanding and she will meet you where you are at with modifications. There are a decent amount of Pilates instructors out there, and finding a good one is really important. Heather is the best!

I absolutely adore this studio and Heather Rex as a Pilates instructor. She has a great pulse check on all of her clients needs or any accommodations they may need. She challenges her classes to step outside of their comfort zone all while giving proper technique and form critiques. It is a comfortable and welcoming environment and I look forward to every opportunity I have to attend a class in this studio.

I was referred to Pilates Sense by a well known and highly skilled chiropractor who told me Pilates was the best way to help my chronically bad back. I found Heather at Pilates Sense when I was at the beginning of my somewhat-difficult pregnancy. I wanted to take pilates to help with some issues lingering from a previous pregnancy, and hoped to stay with it during my post-partum recovery. Heather exceeded every expectation I had going into the experience. My labor and delivery was a breeze, and my recovery could not have been smoother. I have been taking classes with Heather at least twice a week since I found her studio, and the results I have found are incredible- my core is the strongest it’s ever been, I have flexibility I have never had in my entire life, and the stress relief benefits of her classes/workouts are beyond measure for me week in and week out. I can’t recommend Pilates Sense enough!

I first discovered Pilates Sense about two years ago and have participated in their Pilates and Zumba classes. Both Analese and Heather are excellent instructors. They are supportive and friendly. Their knowledge of body mechanics, attention to detail, and sensitivity to physical limitations (joint problems, surgeries, etc.) are a huge asset for all their clients.
My experience here has been very positive, and I would not hesitate to recommend Pilates Sense to anyone.
