I went to a class with a group of ladies and I had no idea what to expect. I was a bit intimidated. The class exceeded my expectations on all accounts. The studio was gorgeous. Our instructor, Mandy, was phenomenal. She was kind, encouraging, and a really great teacher. We had so much fun, as soon as I left I started calling my friends to see when they would want to attend a class with me!

Hannah is an amazing instructor in both chain and silks! She takes time to make sure you understand every step and is very good at teaching people at all different levels. 10/10 recommend her chain classes!

Misfit is very welcoming atmosphere and tons of fun, highly recommend trying chains with Hannah Wednesday or Sundays. She is super patient and breaks down the moves piece by piece while keeping it light and fun. All the instructors are amazing for the other appartuses too and the crash mats are the best I've seen anywhere

Love Misfit! It's one of the only studios in the burbs that puts aerial at the forefront! The rigging & HUGE MATS feel so safe. And there's always a bunch of workshops from all the different coaches throughout the year so you always have something new to try. Plus, the owner and all the coaches here are incredibly supportive and kind ❤️

Misfit is amazing! I’ve taken classes/workshops with Bobbi, Zoe, Milena and Hannah covering lyra, sling, rope, pole, chains and aerial yoga. No matter what apparatus you want to try, there is an amazing instructor and time slot that will work for you. I highly recommend checking out Misfit Aerial!

Misfit is my happy place! Ever since I walked into the studio, I’ve felt so welcomed, encouraged, and fulfilled. I’ve had the pleasure of working with several instructors in classes and workshops and I can’t thank them enough for the supportive atmosphere they have built. I love that I can still be goofy while they challenge me with new moves and sequences. I wear my bruises with pride!

I started coming here for my birthday party, but ended up falling in love and now take 2 classes a week with Hannah. The studio always has amazing energy, it’s very clean and welcoming! I encourage everyone at the very least to try a class with Hannah :)

This program offers extremely fun and engaging classes that are realistically challenging but very rewarding. My instructor, Ally, is always amazing to be around and extremely supportive and helpful and overall great! I will for sure keep coming back here as I have for some months, I suggest it too for those interested to even try out once.

I'm so love with this studio!

The inside is so beautiful and you can tell they really care about making a beautiful, functional and inclusive space.

Bobbi, Zoe, Hannah, Kat... and everyone else are all fantastic instructors and do an amazing job with their classes.

I also love the other students. Everyone is so friendly and supportive.
The entire atmosphere is so inclusive and respectful and just plain fun!

You can find other beautiful studios, but the atmosphere I really feel like is what sets this location apart from others. I drive a little further to come here just because the vibe is on point.

You never have to feel self-conscious or like you don't belong. Even coming as a brand new student, they just envelop you and make you feel welcome.

The first studio in the area built specifically for aerial! This place not only has the proper equipment, but it has qualified instructors and an amazing array of classes to choose from. Each instructor is her own small business, so by taking classes at Misfit, you are supporting your local artists, who have put years of their own sweat, blood and tears into training to be the best.

ZOE offers great basic classes with cultivated curriculums to break things down and build you up. ALLISON is a gold medalist in the pole competition circuit and brings all her knowledge and experience to every class. LIZ offers a way to blend dance and the aerial skills she has learned all over the country. ALLY will give you the most memorable/fun aerial party you could get anywhere. KAT keeps you challenged with her dynamic and athletic, strength building aerial classes. All of the kids love taking aerial with JESS who has years of experience teaching kids in both an aerial and school classroom setting. HANNAH is the sweetest silks instructor, with tips and tricks to break down all of the beginner moves and get you started out right on your aerial journey.

I've been taking classes with both Kat (lyra)and Liz (aerial conditioning and dynamic hoop). Both of them are wonderful people very inclusive and so sweet. Kat brings amazing energy to class and makes you feel so welcomed. She is fun and funny and very mindful about body limitations and works with her students giving different cues and variations.

Liz has been kicking my butt (in a good way) in aerial conditioning and is very mindful about my hypermobility and previous injuries. She pushes when I need that push but also knows and is super accommodating to my bodies needs. Her dynamic hoop class has been an absolute blast and a great challenge.

I have been taking pole class for a few months with Zoe and she’s amazing! I have no coordination or rhythm. Zoe breaks down each move so delicately that even I can understand it. She has a lot of patience. I look forward to my weekly classes. The workouts are challenging my body in ways I didn’t know my body could be challenged. I highly recommend her class. It’s fun, non-judgmental and an excellent workout for all skill levels. She also offers other classes that my friends take. It’s a great workout and a lot of fun! Zoe is absolutely the best!

Took an intermediate pole class with Zoe teaching and it was my first time taking a pole class. My friend brought me, and I had an absolute blast! I wasn’t sure what to expect with no experience and was nervous about taking a higher level class but Zoe basically custom tailored the class for everyone involved and showed me the easy basic moves while escalating for the more experienced students. The studio was clean and had a great setup. I wish I could come back but I’m not from the area. Highly recommend if you’re interested in pole classes to give them a try! 😍

Wonderful time here. My daughter’s girlscout troop rented a class here. Our instructor was Ally and she was absolutely a dream. She was great with all the kids but could instantly see that my kid was special needs and what might help her through. She was 100% inclusive and helped us through. My daughter had a great time! Ally was very knowledgeable and helped each kid in our group individually. She even stayed after to show the girls interested in knowing more additional skills. The space was clean and welcoming. I would totally schedule a party or class at this location again.
