About the Club

MI Pilates offers a full pilates practice with pilates reformers and chairs by balanced body. Our small, boutique studio, has the independence and freedom to lead exciting classes without the large group environment.

We want people to feel better about their physical accomplishments, their emotional relationship with exercise, and their overall health.

We offer intro/curiosity sessions weekly or by appointment. It is a 30 minute, full body workout, where we answer your pilates questions, introduce you to the equipment and you get to know our studio. Contact us to schedule your intro session.

Our instructors are fully certified in all pieces of equipment and have undergone over 500 hours of certification.

Elizabeth is such a great instructor! She was constantly checking in and modifying moves to make it easier and harder at various times. Being new to the reformer/pilates, she created a space for me to be vulnerable trying new things without judgement but also a space of joy and laughter. Highly recommend!!!

I had not done stretching in a long time. Elizabeth helped me reach my goal. She provided a detailed and fun introduction to the equipment. I felt great for days after each session, and was able to add stretching exercises at home between sessions. Movement Improved Pilates is great for beginners and also experienced folks looking to improve their health. Highly recommended.

Mi Pilares and owner Elizabeth is truly amazing. I have been going there since it opened. Now my husband goes also (he wanted to strengthen his core to help his golf game).
The workouts at MI PIlates are not boring nor repetitive. You learn new moves all the time and the instructors incorporate different pieces of equipment. This lets you work different muscles and gain strength all over. Elizabeth will adjust equipment and moves for people of different heights and abilities. They will give "progression' adjustments to many moves if you are more experienced in pilates. I am currently recovering from an injury and attending a class specificly focused on active aging folks and those needing adaptations. I belonged to one of the big pilates clubs for years ... I love MI Pilates sooo much better!!!

Both the "Active Agers" group classes and private sessions are terrific at MI Pilates. I've been working out at MI Pilates for about 8 months now, and I feel so much stronger than I did before. Elizabeth and the other instructors provide careful, precise instructions for a wide variety of movements so that you don't injure yourself while you're stretching and strengthening your body. Every session is different, so you never get bored! The 50 minute classes go by very quickly, and you leave feeling so good about yourself and the gains you've made. Beautiful, sturdy, well-maintained reformers and lots of additional equipment for each student, and small classes of 3 or fewer means you get very personalized attention. I like the studio's decor, too; it's calming and attractive. You feel happy to be there, doing something great for your body. Highly recommended!

I’ve been coming here for over a year and I love it. Elizabeth really knows her stuff, and so do all of the other instructors. They keep up with their own training and continue to bring fresh exercises to class. I don’t think I’ve ever had the same class twice. They provide lots of options for modifying exercises based on experience, each individual’s height, and consideration for injuries. I can’t recommend MI Pilates enough!

Movement Improvements is amazing! The small class size is ideal. Elizabeth is so personable and makes each experience individualized to each class. My fiancé came with me to a class and he said it was such a fun experience and a nice challenge. Highly recommend this studio!!

LOVE this place!!! I have been taking pilates classes for a little over a year and have been slightly frustrated with not being able to advance in classes, or be held accountable. This is the perfect place to do just that! It's small enough you'll feel horrible not showing up AND it's small enough to have the instructions attention to make adjustments/advancements as needed. Seriously, so happy & highly recomment for newbies or oldies (age and/or experience)!! :)

Bright & airy studio with personal touches make it very comfortable. Elizabeth is extremely knowledgeable & incredibly patient & encouraging.
