I had a 1 yr old birthday party here since I saw good reviews. Pros: staff was very helpful, place was really clean, play place was very inclusive.
Cons: activities were very rushed, did not have time to take pictures at all, eating place was very tight and I only had about 20-30 people in the party.
I would recommend this place for lectures and classes but not for a party.
I think the price is a little on the higher side for the activities the children did and the time we had, mind you I paid extra for an extra 30 mins ..

Amazing place to have a toddler birthday party. The staff did everything from the omen we walked in the door. There are so many activities to entertain the kids and the staff did a great job of leading activities. Gym is very clean, colorful, and spacious.

Wonderful staffs that I can trust with! We attend almost every single parent’s nights out. Kids have fun at the center and we get few hours adult time! Today I had to run out for getting my car for not getting a ticket since I double parked. The staffs took over really fast and I appreciate them so much!!

I cannot say enough good things about my gym South loop! We are so thankful they opened up in the community our children have practically grown up here taking multiple classes and even having two of our birthday parties here. My daughter and I came to My Gym for a birthday party and she absolutely fell in love with the place. My parents decided to get her a class pass so that we could go enjoy the gym on our own. I purchased the card and come to find out, I purchased it for the Fullerton location and not SL. Mikaley, the Assistant Director was so generous and helped me solved my debacle. Kudos for every staff member being exceptional with customer service!

MyGym has been a staple in my kiddos’ activities since they opened 3 years ago. It‘s a warm and welcoming place with kind staff who make everybody feel right at home. I loved playing along with my toddler, but I definitely appreciated graduating to the drop off classes. The schedule offers multiple convenient sign up times and my boys love going! Saira, the owner, is always super responsive and helps with anything that might need addressing. This was a wonderful addition to our neighborhood.

Every visit to My Gym brings something new, whether it’s playing with toys we don’t have at home or watching a puppet show that her dad and I aren’t great at performing. Each session includes Independent Time where the little ones play with musical toys, and when it’s time, they put the toys back in the box. I remember the first time we went, my bunny cried loudly when I took a toy from her hand. But now, just two or three weeks later, she imitates the teachers and other kids, putting the toys back in the box. The class setups and facilities are updated every week. The two themes I attended were Farm and Circus, which aim to develop the children’s imagination. The curriculum includes music, games, puppet shows, skill stations (like somersaults and balance beam walking), and swing time—something even us parents can enjoy! The little ones might not be interested in every part of the class, but when they’re not into something, they can bounce on the trampoline, go down the slide, or play hide-and-seek. Overall, it’s a great place to take your kids.

My son has been attending this location for several years on and off, we even held his 2 year birthday here.

I couldn’t say enough good things about the staff, they are always welcoming, engaged and truly involved with our little ones. My son had some not so great experience at daycare and is a little traumatized to be in a group setting. He has been doing much better and gotten involved in activities since I went back to My Gym again this year.

I thank everyone who has been taking care of our little boy and will continue to refer other kids here, it is an amazing place!

We absolutely love MyGym! We’ve been taking our 14 month old here since before she could crawl and she loves it! All of the teachers are so engaging and caring and the kids have an absolute blast. The memberships allow us to come multiple times a week, which has been amazing in the Chicago winter.

We started attending MyGym with our toddler a few months ago. He enjoys it so much that we decided to hold his second birthday there. I can’t speak highly enough of the team. They coordinated activities that kept all of the kids entertained and managed every single detail of the process. We literally showed up with desserts and they took things from there. It was such an amazing experience that we may make it a family tradition!

We hosted our two-year-old’s birthday party here, and it was perfect! The My Gym team was very friendly and helpful before the party for planning and set-up; they thoroughly explained the options, which made planning very convenient, and set up all the decorations before the party began. During the party, they led the children in activities and allowed free playtime. They served the food and cake and did clean-up afterward. This really allowed us as parents to focus on spending time with our child and guests. We would definitely recommend and/or host another child’s party here!

We cannot recommend My Gym South Loop enough! We have seen so much developmental and social progress in our 1 year old son since starting to attending weekly classes! My daughters both attend MyGym South Loop and continue to learn new skills as well as gain confidence in their day to day.

My older one is attending the pre school prep program and is absolutely thriving. We've tried other programs elsewhere and at point she was slightly scarred for about a week from the experience. Not with MyGym though. The staff knows her well and gives her the attention she needs to thrive, especially since she's too young for full academia and does well in a play based learning environment. I couldn't recommend MyGym SL enough!

The only downside is that your kids will become overly proficient in climbing furniture at home, lol.

My now 3 year old has been going to MyGym South Loop since it opened and LOVES it. It's a warm, fun, engaging, and safe environment for her, she asks to go there every day! She has gained strength and confidence, and has good body awareness. So grateful to have MyGym in our neighborhood!

Addition: Enrolled my kid in the Pre-school Prep program and it's been terrific! We we were looking for an affordable, walking distance, play-based program to give our 3 year old more opportunities to socialize and get used to the concept of going to school prior to enrolling in pre-K next Fall. My child tells me about reading books, learning basic letters/numbers, doing physical activity, and brings home arts + crafts. She calls it "MyGym School" and asks to go every day (it's a 2 day, 3/hr per day program).

We really appreciate the option for our son to have classes with peers close to his age now that he is no longer in daycare and won’t be starting preschool for another year. We also like the blend of structured, teacher-led classes and complementary “practice and play” classes that allow our son lots of free choice and the opportunity to practice the skills he’s learning in the more structured class. Attended a birthday party, this my gym location was....Let's just say not a good experience

The party was scheduled at 545pm, got there early, 530pm. We realized we won't be able to actually play inside but we didn't realized we were not even allowed to be in the lobby lol. That is correct we were NOT allowed to even stepped into the lobby until 545pm lol.

There were a total of two worker, one of them had no smile and we can honestly say she probably had no experience deal w kids. no smile, look means and at times rude to kids and parent

Half of the parent didn't bring a sock, hey it's the summer most ppl wear sandal lol. She policed all parent, make sure we all wear sock. We realized it's the policy but hey the least you can do is be polite about it. NOT "where is your socks"! And it still don’t make sense, kid is allowed to be bear foot but parent need socks LOL

While they were preparing the swings, there were probably six or seven of them need to be installed, kids already wanting to swing and parent put them in the swing playing already. While one of the staff installing swings Nobody said nothing that we weren't supposed to play. After they installed all swing, after most swing were taken with baby and kids inside playing that's when she told us in a very rude tune that Kids need to be waited, on the floor, because there are rules need to follow but hey they could of told us before or during installing the swing, NOT after all Kids already in the swing! i get it for safety but shouldnt we were told about the safety issue before installing the swings lol

One of the zip line, a kid was already playing. It's was a kid u think she read a sign?! She rudely told a kid she wasn't supposed to play since a staff need to be there and confronted at a parent!

I will say that there was alot of activities to do, Kids had fun But we were only given 15min to eat pizza and the birthday cake. Oh the pizza was already delivered before 530pm but we didn't eat until 7pm....That's right we had cold pizza lol. Either let us eat before the game or could easily ask the pizza guy to delivery the pizza right before 7pm lol we dont know the schedule but they do...lol

Look, we been to many kid parties but this was by far the most disorganized host! At 715 when we were being Kicked out, iam Not Kidding we were being Kicked out lol. All she had to do was remind us not in a rude matter, perhaps a smile would be nice....And yes we were kicked out lol yes we realize its time to go but there are ways to inform us of time and remind us its time to go than just tell us to get out :)

We recently hosted our daughters 4th birthday at this location and it was amazing! Everything went smoothly, a party planner was included in our package and that in itself helped us tremendously. The staff was friendly and very involved with the kids. They had activities set up for the kids to get them to interact instead of just letting them roam free (which they still had the chance to do). Overall, it was a great experience, HIGHLY recommend hosting a party at this location or even just going to their classes. My kids can't stop asking about returning again, which we will very soon. I am incredibly grateful for the Saira and the South Loop My Gym location. I was in need of a fun interactive space for my son's 3rd birthday party. I'm a big planner, but this year i had several major events the same weekend and need a lot of help. Saira and her team were phenomenal. I selected the premier package about 3 weeks before the birthday party. It was everything I needed plus some. Saira was so easy with the planning and let me operate at my own pace. The website RSVP set up allowed for families to complete the waiver jn advance. The details were clear and we took advantage of all of the amenities. They also let me bring in food, goody bags and balloons. I was most impressed with the Facilitated play time. The timeline was perfect and the kids LOVED it. The adults were happy to let their kids play and enjoyed adult food. This was SO easy and exactly what I needed from the organized song play list (I made my selections and MG came up with everything else) to the bubbles that were a major hit. I was so impressed with how well things turned out AND THE PRICE! I can go on and on about how awesome this experience was for my family. Huge thanks to Owner Saira and her team Collin and Danielle who made my son's 3rd birthday phenomenal for him and 20 of his little buddies. Can't wait to plan a play date at this location, it was really wonderful. ​
