This is about the 10:45am class at Elmhurst, IL on July 19, 2025. In the class, I was asked to leave my phone at the front desk which I understood and complied with. However after the class, the receptionist raised her voice at me in front of other members, insisting I sign a form mentioning cell phone use and cancellation charges in a way that felt very confrontational and embarrassing. I understand and respect studio policies but was shocked by how the situation was handled publicly. I believe this could've been addressed privately and respectfully. I love going to OTF and I want to bring this out in the open in the hope that situations like these will be handled with more discretion in the future.

I am in my early 70s and have been doing Orange Theory twice a week for the past 13 months. I feel great and have definitely gained strength and endurance. I have more energy and am able to continue to do the things I enjoy. At Orange Theory, I really appreciate the variety of the workouts and the encouragement from the coaches to work hard, but most of all I appreciate the personal attention I receive from the coaches. They make sure I am doing the exercises correctly and make modifications where needed. If you think you can’t do this, which is what I thought, I would encourage you to reconsider and give it a try.

I could never say enough about how excited I am to have started back up with orange theory.
Jamie is an amazing! She has this way of getting you to push yourself farther than you thought you could go. I think her a million times over for always calling me out to go a little more a little and she knows her stuff!
Claire is another gem! This is not a game it's a hard however these two instructors and motivated and wanting more.

The coaches are great at this studio - they have the best mix of encouraging and supportive coaching to challenge me to push myself just the right amount, and they help me to improve my form during floor exercises. They always help modify exercises for me when I have an old ankle injury acting up which I REALLY appreciate - their knowledge helps me get a great workout no matter how I'm feeling that day!

Rotating through the different fitness stations at every workout assures a good and mixed variety of muscle/core/cardio development, which makes maximal use of my limited time to work out. This is a great efficiency for a busy parent. Also I adore the coaches. I’m amazed at the way they constantly find new and specific ways to encourage me to maintain a harder than usual effort level, or to reach up to a still higher place. And, in almost a year of membership, it seems like the workouts I attend often contain totally new floor exercise experiences. I have been working out at Orangetheory in Elmhurst for just shy of a year now and it has helped me to lose weight, improve my health, and become much stronger. The fact that I have stayed with it is a testament to the results I've seen and the fantastic trainers. I was a complete fitness beginner when I started, having not ever worked out before. The Orangetheory classes can work for pretty much everyone from complete beginners just getting started to experienced athletes looking to switch things up. Every class has a variety of people at all fitness and experience levels. Everyone can feel comfortable here. The instructors take plenty of time to explain all the exercises and provide alternatives that can make it less challenging or more challenging depending on your individual fitness level or limitations.

I like the varied workout - both cardio and weight training. Each session is totally adjustable to each person's needs and abilities. I appreciate the easy to understand screens with photos/demos for the floor and weights portion, I like how often the music changes, keeping it fresh and new, and I like that it is darker inside (orangey!), so we can't see one another look sweaty and gross. (It's nice that the lights aren't blaring!) Also, the trainers are very good at giving you just the right amount of attention - not too much, but just enough to be sure you're doing it right, plus plenty of motivation and encouragement.

I absolutely love my OTF workouts. The available workout times are huge for me (there are tons of options) and I like that each trainer has their own style (and music) - they're all great though. My favorite part of the class is that every single one is different and you don't know what you're going to be doing (Strength, Endurance or Power) until you get there. The class goes by so fast because you switch between the treadmill, rower and floor exercises/weights. In just 2 short months, I've seen muscle definition in my arms and increased stamina on my weekend runs. The heart rate monitor and tracking is great way for me to compete with myself and the app gives me a quick way to track how I've been doing. I signed up for 8x a month but now I wish I did unlimited. I love it!

0 stars because they wasted my time. I arrived to the class over 20 min early... the instructor turned me away because she said I had to be 30 min early. When I got back to my car there was still over 15 minutes to kill. This is clearly not a company that respects your business or your time.

Just left my second group session... I feel pukey, light head, my legs feel like jello... AND I LOVE IT! This place rocks. If you are a beginner, like me, you should run and get a membership here. I find gyms/weight training very intimidating, so I avoid them. But here, I had weights in my hands during my first session and I burned over 900 calories.

Here's what I love most:
- They plan the work-out for you. This means I don't waste time thinking, "What should I do next?" and forces me to try things I wouldn't have tried on my own.
- Great trainers like Andrea and Kelly, who keep you motivated and coach your form. (The whole staff is here great).
- It only takes one hour for a complete work out, and the pace of the class keeps me from over thinking and getting discouraged.
- No egos! I was with a fun group of people who had the the same goal as me.
