My daughter (6) has been enrolled at Palmer’s for 4 years now; we love LOVE Palmer’s! The coaching staff is amazing with the kids. So calm and focused on the kids having a good, fun (and safe) environment to learn gymnastics.
So many great things to say about Palmer’s! 10/10 recommend!

Following a decade of dedicated commitment to Palmer’s Gymnastics, our family chose to withdraw our younger daughter from team competition at Palmer’s, after unjust accusations against her. This gymnastics facility, unlike many others in the area, does NOT have, nor has ever had in our ten year experience, any cameras, to support the safety and integrity of their athletes, coaches, and staff. After informing the owner, Neil Palmer, of our intention to withdraw our daughter, he became very defensive and upset about our decision, stating that we “were making him out to be the bad guy”. I’ve also heard these same words from him in June 2024, when a there was a mass exodus of team coaches and athletes from the gym. Our intentions and always our intention was to support the physical and mental well-being of our daughter. Neil Palmer let his ego get in the way of doing what was best for his athlete and business. After informing him of our decision, he then told us our older daughter, who had NOT competed as a Palmer’s gymnast for over a year, but rather as a local high school gymnast practicing with her high school coach, at the gym, was no longer welcome to practice with her high school coach and teammates, at the gym. Again, he let his ego get in the way because he didn’t like that I said our daughter was loyal to her high school coach and teammates; therefore robbing her of the opportunity to train with her coach and build camaraderie with her teammates. As a business owner I’d hope his goals were to keep athletes and to build his business, rather than push them away.
In addition to our experiences above, Neil Palmer refuses to issue a refund of fundraising funds (in the amount of $180) specifically raised by our daughter. These funds were given to support our daughter, by family and friends, with the intention of their own money, to be given to our daughter for use of gymnastics costs. This is not the case. Neil Palmer has stolen from 8 hard working adults. If the money will not be refunded to our daughter, then it would be of good business to refund to those individuals.
When researching a safe and supportive gymnastics facility for your child, I would advise you to look elsewhere. Find a gym where your family will feel welcome, you and your child will be safe (with working cameras) and respected, have great communication between coaches and families, have consistent coaches, and where your child will be happy. Under the ownership of Neil Palmer, Palmer’s Gymnastics, is not the place to invest your time and money.

WARNING: DO NOT ENROLL YOUR CHILD HERE!
This gymnastics facility is an absolute nightmare. After being loyal customers for multiple years, My high school daughter was kicked out for no reason. All of this while my 8 year old was Constantly harassed, and interrogated like a criminal. No explanation. No warning. Just gone. Paying customers? Treated like garbage. Children? Treated like an afterthought.
They refuse to refund money. They break their own contracts. Their promises are empty. Their words mean nothing. This is not just unprofessional—it’s shameful.
The staff is rude, dismissive, and completely unaccountable. Expect respect? Forget it. Expect honesty? Impossible. This place clearly does NOT care about kids.
If you value your child’s safety, happiness, or your own sanity, run. Do not walk. Run away. This facility is a disaster, a scam, and a total failure as a business and a gymnastics program.
Seriously. Save your money. Save your time. Save your child from this nightmare. Avoid at all costs.

I had really bad experience with one of the coach during my child’s make up class. She didn’t want her to coach from the beginning and so she literally kicked her out in the middle of the class saying she doesn’t listen to her and follow her instructions where I know my kid is the most obedient kid. The coach herself seems lazy and not nearly a fit to be a gymnastic coach.I am not signing my kid for the next session.

There is so many rules in open gym that you can’t have fun and it is not a good place for your kids to play I wouldn’t go there if I was you.

My sister had her daughter’s 4th birthday party at Palmer’s and I would say DO NOT waste your time or money there. The party instructor (there was only one person and her assistant to watch over 15-20 kids) was not helpful, seemed very unorganized, didn’t seem to know how to adequately handle all the kids, and no structure to the activities the kids were doing. The place smelled of mildew and it was so hot in there. I’ve been to many gymnastics birthday parties, and this place just wasn’t up to par. If you’re planning on throwing a party for your little one, I would suggest doing it somewhere else.

Fantastic place! It accually teaches gymnastics to small children, not just jumping around with music. My 2.5 years old loved it, and we will definitely sign up for any future sessions. I Highly recommend this place, especially when prices are so affordable for what your child will get.

My daughter loves it. They are very friendly. The staff is awesome, very helpful. They work with all the kids even when the kids are having bad days and do not want to cooperate. The coaches are very patient. I recommend this location to anyone that has a child interested in gymnastics.

Not only do the employees give you wrong information, they are very rude to the paying customer. The owners are just as rude as their staff. Every class that we paid for started late and ended early. This place is so unorganized DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!
