My daughter who’s 9 yrs old started at Phenom the last week of May. She’s been going once a week to the tumbling class they offer. My daughter has been working on getting her back handspring down without a spotter. After 2 months she just achieved that goal! Coaches are phenomenal and my daughter had 0 tumbling experience. All around amazing support and training from the coaches! Highly recommend this gym!!

Phenom Gymnastics is the absolute best. The program builds their athletes to be mentally strong, physically strong, and emotionally strong. Our 2nd time having a gymnastics party at Phenom and once again it was a big hit with all the kids! Coach Reese and Coach Lilly were beyond amazing with coordinating obstacle games, dodgeball and hide and seek in the gym. They played my kiddos favorite tunes and the party room was beautifully decorated prior to us arriving and setup/cleanup was easy peasy. Working with Jamie and her team was a breeze and booking the party was hassle free. Kids loved the goodie bags at the end which was a big bonus and generous gesture by Phenom. With so little venues left in the Oswego area for kids birthdays, it is so wonderful to have a unique space like this for a kids party!

I was interested in switching my preschool daughter to Phenom from another gym. I called the main line and Jamie called me back very quick. She helped me with my questions and I was able to get my daughter in to try a class. Such a nice gym. Wonderful coaches. I love that there are small class sizes and that the kids get so much help and attention. We had our first class last Saturday and signed up for weekly classes as soon as her first class ended. We are so excited for Annabelle to learn and grow with Phenom. Thank you for giving her such a great first experience this weekend!

Over the years, we’ve tried out a few different gymnastics facilities in the NW suburbs, But none of them ever seemed too encompass, the coaching and culture that we were looking for for our two girls. We tried out Phenom, despite it taking 45min-1hour to get to with traffic, and here we are months later happily doing the drive because we love the way this gym is ran. This is a girl centric, empowerment community for little girls, to explore their strengths in a gymnastics settings. The coaches are extremely knowledgeable and professional, and there are plenty of hands on deck to ensure that each child is getting proper attention and care. They have many accolades, and many gymnasts from their club, have gone on to state and national competitions! Coaching and culture is everything when it comes to a competitive Sport and Phenom has it down solid! Highly recommend!

My daughter moved to Phenom from another gym that was not a good fit. She visited several gyms and really liked a couple that offered her a place on their teams, but Phenom really stood out among them. She immediately felt it was the right place for her and knew it was where she should be. She has gained confidence, refined skills, and made incredible relationships with teammates and coaches.

My daughter started at Phenom as a 5 year old who just wanted to try tumbling with her friend. She quickly fell in love with the sport but more importantly the dedication and kindness from all the coaches. She went through the recreational program that Phenom offers and then did tryouts for the competitive team. We just finished our first season and it was a great experience! If you are looking for programs for your Tot or wanting to join a team, Phenom is the gym for you. Phenom is a great gym that has a very fun but disciplined environment that will teach your child not just gymnastics but also life skills. I'm currently a freshman at Western Michigan University on a full athletic scholarship for gymnastics and I wouldn't have been able to fulfill my dream of being a college gymnast without the coaches and my teammate's support.

Our daughter absolutely LOVES Phenom. We were looking for a gym and let her try out at multiple places and pick for herself. She knew instantly that Phenom was the place for her. She looks forward to every gym day… if she could bring a pillow and a blanket, I swear she would sleep on a balance beam and be there all the time. The coaching is top tier - it’s all the things you want it to be… safe, motivational, correct form and technique. The older girls are some of the absolute best and are so inspiring for the younger girls to watch. It’s a fun, wonderful, happy, hardworking environment. If we could give it more stars than 5, we would!

My daughter had a birthday party here and it was amazing. From the moment we walked in everything was so stress free. I plan a lot of parties and I usually always feel so overwhelmed during the event to make sure everything runs smoothly. This was the first party I was able to sit and actually enjoy the party. The young ladies that hosted the party were polite, friendly, mature, and so attentive to the kids. I loved the set up of having the party during a time when the gym wasn't too crowded ; it felt like a private party. The parents of the kids that attended the party commented numerous times of how much the liked the set up of the party and how it was such a fun and enjoyable party. I'm so glad we had her party here!!

We could not have had a better experience coming to Phenom for my daughter after switching clubs for personal reasons. Jess, Marco and Jamie have been encouraging, built my daughters skills and self esteem up beyond what I would have expected from coaches. She is happier than she had been in several years. Phenom was exactly what I was hoping to find for my daughter. This is a place that fosters the overall physical and mental well-being of their athletes, it's not just about skills/upgrades. They care about the athlete and how she will best thrive. I truly could not ask for better, the culture inside the gym is positive and supportive and was just what my athlete was needing. After suffering 2 injuries in her previous season, she was not in the best shape when she arrived here. Phenom has amazing coaches, great team structure, a family oriented atmosphere with coaches who go to extreme lengths to ensure your daughter not only gets great coaching but has fun along the way!! If your daughter is serious about gymnastics this is the place to go!!! The coaches work extremely hard to get their gymnasts skills perfected and in front of college coaches. This past year the senior girls had 4 full ride scholarship gymnasts to D1 schools and several D1 preferred walk on gymnasts to D1 schools. That’s amazing!!!! They’ve coached elite girls too! We have been happy with Phenom until their recent vaccination/mask policy. In order for students to practice mask free they have to SHOW PROOF of complete Covid vaccination. Since trials are still out with younger age groups for the vaccine, our little one will have had to stay in a mask. Gym gets way too hot over the summer to require masks indefinitely. No room for accommodations like small group sizes, rotating practice so students can be spaced out mask free, or allowing breathing breaks outside of a water break. Not having an end in sight of when the CDC is going to lift all restrictions, this is very discriminatory towards family who can’t or won’t vaccinate.

Phenomenal Gymnastics, what can I say? If your daughter is a part of the Junior Olympic Competitive Gymnast program, you know all too well how imperative finding the right gym is. It’s not just about the training, it’s equally about the culture and management and staff as well.

This is my L9 gymnast’s third gym ever, we made the switch in June 2020. In just a few short months, my daughter has obtained more new skills and greater, intentional, FAIR coaching than I could ever have imagined. We drive an hour both ways and if you’re shopping gyms, I’m here to tell you Phenom is worth it.

Marco, the owner, is present, coaches and is a lot of fun for the gymnasts and coaches Jamie and Jessica are exceptional. Love you Phenom!
