Great gym. I wish the weights would go higher than 75 lbs, but for the price, it’s alright. Unfortunately, there are no Hacksquats or Racks, just Smith machines. The gym is always very clean, and the staff are always nice. The gym is usually empty on the weekends too.

After several visits to this and other PF locations the benefits behind this one's design becomes clear.
Front desk staff and members are great but the lighting which some may think is too dim is actually perfect for reading the closed captioning from the televisions! Now I get it. Ditto for some of the massage chairs. They're smaller than others' but a just-right fit for shorter members.

I really like this gym , it’s clean it’s a a spacious sized facility and the staff are great! I do think they need an equipment upgrade maybe a hack squat and regular barbell rack like I’ve seen at newer locations.

The manager is literally amazing and kicks ass!! Very helpful when I called with questions. He was more than happy to answer all my questions! Highly recommend trying this gym!

I have been a paying member for the past two years. I really like the facility and the message chairs. Unfortunately, this place is either way under staffed or the management doesn’t really care about customer service. Most of the time during the evenings there is no one at the desk to use the “Black Card” amenities. Please either make the message chairs self service or have a team member at the desk to assist paying members.

While the staff is great the equipment is very dated.
For all the advertising that PF does this club doesn’t have any of the equipment shown in their advertisements .
I realize that this location is independent and isn’t company owned you would think they would have to adhere to all others.
Go to Mundelein as it is awesome with all new equipment

I am so disappointed in this location, it’s supposedly open 24 hrs but there is never anyone that works there. For the last 3 weeks I have been there a few times a week at 5:30/6am to get a tan before heading to work and there is absolutely no employee at this facility to start the room.

They have the worst equipment. The weight equipment is very old. A lot of machines do not work. You can not do the stairmaster without being in a horrible position that damages your back.
Every other planet fitness has matrix machines that are a lot newer and better than Life fitness machines.
