Verbally accosted by employees because as an out of town black card member, they expect me to fill out my personal information on a piece of paper every single time I come in. I needed to use the bathroom, and they yelled my name across the club. The dark haired girl behind the counter was extremely rude when I tried to explain that I had already filled out my information. She kept interrupting me when I spoke, and demanded that I write it down or I wouldn't be allowed to come in. I find this rude unwelcoming behavior incredibly ironic considering they have a Bible verse chiseled into the building.

I travel for work so a Planet Fitness membership is valuable for someone who trains five days a week and can not find a regular gym nearby without having to pay a day pass. The locker rooms first of all were some of the filthiest I have ever seen. Toilet paper all over the stalls. Floors looking like they have not been mopped in years. And the lockers full of dirt and grim that has been probably sitting there for years. Maybe it is me but I feel like as paying customers and someone who pays for a monthly membership. The least the staff can do is get out from behind the desk and clean up the place a bit. I have been to other locations and they were spotless. So I am not sure if management is just not enforcing standards. Or the staff simply do not care. It seems like a very simple task. I definitely will not be returning.

It’s one of the best Planet Fitness branches I’ve seen in a while. Very clean and has very friendly staff. The only issue I have is it can get very crowded during rush hour, but that’s not a fault of their own.

It's the best gym ive ever joined. I really generally love my time here. I have CPTDS and seriously over react to perceived threats and did yesterday. Haven't been back. Can't remember exactly what I said. I was not okay. Really wish political satire was banned for the time. The gym is not the place for that. That is just my opinion. What they do is amazing. I hope I didn't ruin this for myself. They really are quite awesome.

The tanning beds are always dirty. Along with the rooms. I've had multiple conversations with employees and the manager Robin. I've even complained while Robin was at the desk. And have spoken to her manager. Still nothing gets done. It's simple sanitizing, so many new employees and still can't get them clean. Multiple pictures that can be posted.

Someone steals at this gym and the staff wouldn’t fill out an incident report just left a note for the GM, it was my first time attending this location as a black card member, I wasn’t concerned about the missing cash but the staff being totally unbothered by the incident is makes me never want to attend this location again. Person only stole $10 and I didn’t even ask to be reimbursed or anything just that the incident be reported and was told the amount of money was too low to fill out an incident report. I was more concerned that other guests and members be protected in the future if it’s something reoccurring but if it isn’t documented it isn’t reoccurring. This happened sometime between 5:15pm and 6:45 pm on a Thursday. Be careful out there, staff unconcerned, thank god it was only $10 missing. Otherwise the facility was nice and I had a good workout but will be going to other location options too bad this is the closest one to where I live though.

The place looks great but most of the equipment on Bluetooth is non functional. I’ve been to multiple planet fitness gyms in Illinois and every gym and the management all say the same thing, there are so many Bluetooth devices there’s no way to figure out which is which. I even reached out the manufacturers for some of the equipment. Even they said, I will need a club number but no one seems to know what it is.

The gym seriously lacks sufficient workout equipment for a well-rounded strength-training experience. Instead of filling the space with 75 treadmills that sit mostly unused, there should be a better variety of resistance machines, such as at least four leg curl machines, leg extension machines, and calf raise machines. These are essential for targeting specific muscle groups, yet the current setup is inadequate. Additionally, the equipment isn’t organized efficiently. To focus on one area, like legs, you’re forced to move all over the gym, wasting time and disrupting your workout flow.

What makes it worse is that the crowd meter rarely works, so you can’t accurately plan your visits. When you arrive, the gym is often overcrowded, and many of the weight machines are tied up. A significant number of 15–25-year-olds seem to lack respect for gym etiquette, spending excessive amounts of time on machines without consideration for others waiting to use them. Meanwhile, the treadmills sit largely unused, highlighting how poorly the space is optimized for the actual needs of gym-goers. A redesign of the equipment layout and an investment in diverse machines would go a long way toward improving the overall experience.

In reference to the management that opened the SEMI truck door. She wasn't breaking a local law but a FEDERAL LAW, and charges should have been pressed. Only the individual or individuals assigned to the truck are permitted inside the cab of a truck, and beyond that, only certain law enforcement have the same right. This is not all law enforcement. Either they must be certified. I am a 1.6 million miler.

I visited in the morning before work, and there was plenty of equipment available, which made for a smooth workout. The facility was clean and well-maintained. However, I did notice there were no lockers outside the locker rooms for safe and quick access to store personal belongings, which I've seen at other Planet Fitness locations. As a result, I saw many people keeping their bags and belongings with them while working out. Overall, a solid gym, but it would be even better with safer and more convenient storage lockers.

Canceled my membership in 2019 they've been charging me ever since. They refuse to refund my money and continue to ask me for the paperwork but I signed digitally in the gym and they never sent me a receipt of cancelation. Now I have to make a it a legal matter since they won't even consider they made a mistake. Absolute crap. Join any other gym.

Been going to this one for a while and a few other locations. This one is my favorite. I have never had a bad staff experience at any of the locations but this one the staff is super friendly and have a good energy (all seem to like each other and I always see people cleaning and stuff as well as smiling) plus I really like the layout of this location compared to a lot of the other ones (this is post rearrangement for people looking at the reviews)

I believe her name was Robin, but a manager there (i watched this happen) opened the door of a semi truck tractor and was banging on the side of it, i guess it was running and the door has a crack in it. I called to file a complaint due to her breaking the law and intruding on private property, I started making my complaint and the lady who admitted to being the one who did it just hung up on me. There is a sign that says no semi trucks in the lot, which is referring to a tractor trailer. He was in just the truck tractor, and a member who was working out. She lied to me claiming the tractor was taking up 4 spots, which it was not. He was occupying one spot, not blocking ANYONE OR ANYTHING, and did not have a trailer, he was bobtail, which is allowed and i see at this location EVERY SINGLE DAY. I am a truck driver myself, we work a hard job with long hours, and this lady broke the law entering this man's private property. I don't care if the door was cracked, that is the man's home away from home. If she was walking through her neighborhood and somebody's front door was cracked, is she just going to walk in there and intrude on someone's private property? We truckers have a hard enough job without terrible people like you invading our private property. He was not breaking any laws, you were. I was professional and cordial the first time i called, but I'll admit i got pretty heated the second time i called after the lady hung up on me. You need to grow up and learn professionalism, or get a job that's not in customer service. That guy works twice as hard as you ever have, let the paying member workout there like he's paying you to.

Only one negative, the rest is all positive. We're visiting the area and have been at about 60 Planet Fitness facilities across the United States. This one was very clean, two-story with a lot of space out area upstairs and downstairs which is nice. All the machines in the bathroom were clean. Staff were friendly the few times we visited, both during the day and at night.
It was not busy on a weekend or after 6:00 p.m. on a weekday, I don't know about the busy times which is usually about 5:00 p.m. at most gyms.
Good massage and tanning areas. Most people kept to themselves with their earphones in or looking at their cell phones.
The only odd thing about this Planet Fitness compared to every other one was they have the trash cans with lids on top of them and the spray bottles on top of the lids, and then they place them directly underneath the paper towel dispenser. Most of the planet fitness facilities have it all as one one component, with this one when you're trying to get paper towels out at almost every single cleaning station throughout the gym, decan is directly underneath the towel dispenser and the spray bottles are almost to the bottom of the dispenser so if you're not paying attention you're definitely going to knock them over every single time. Not sure if this odd setup, but I would think that they just moved the trash cans to the left or right about two feet so you could easily get the paper towels out and then reach over and get the spray bottle and spray the paper towel. This may not seem like much but I watched a few people hit the spray bottles in the 2 hours I was there, with only one lid coming off and spilling on the floor. Just food for thought, otherwise it was a great gym, great staff, and if I lived in the area I would make this my permanent gym. I would not bring an RV or 18 wheeler into the parking lot, very small.

I love coming here after work! I’ve had thoughts about getting a membership for a long time and I finally decided to get one last September when I found a new job in Edwardsville! Even if I had a rough day at work, coming here afterwards always helps clears my mind! The staff is so nice when you walk in and when there’s a problem, such as the paper towel dispenser being empty for example, they get onto it and fix it! Staff are very sensitive to jokes, so be careful what you say. I am a disabled vet, and I get nervous ticks and sometimes let out words I dont mean, and I apologize for them. Traveler here. This is a great planet fitness very huge. They have what I like to call “hallway showers” some planet fitnesses across the west and Midwest have them. Though I wish they would have chairs in the hallway part of the showers, some in Arizona and Wisconsin have benches so that you don’t have to leave your bag on the floor. Otherwise this should be the standard for planet fitnesses everywhere!

Facility:
The facility in and of itself is extremely clean and well put together. The layout is fairly intuitive, and it's not hard to navigate. The equipment is all in good repair, clean, and well organized.
Staff:
The staff are friendly and hard working.
They're willing to go above and beyond to accommodate their patrons and have a great attitude!

The only reason there is 4 stars instead of 5 is because staff members need remedial training on Service Dog Law/ADA Law.
They have asked for documentation/certification for a Service Dog which is illegal to ask for, as per the ADA.
That being said, all staff seem willing to listen & learn. They have the best intentions at heart to ensure a safe environment for everyone.
