I’ve been to 7 different locations in Illinois and Indiana and this locations was by far my worst experience ever…

1.) no coat racks so if you have a locker or lock you can’t hang up your coat or your key to hold the lock for your locker

2.) Every location I have been has been updated with more machines an additional dumbbell racks and dis location was da only one not updated only had 4 bench presses like really for da whole entire gym smh

3.) this location doesn’t even have mirrors so you can watch your form I brought a guest with me with a very lil crowd an still was not able to complete a simple workout an I was embarrassed for even recommended to go to this location…

This location is a complete joke for anybody who’s even somewhat serious about lifting weights but they have super nice bathrooms an unlimited treadmills smh

I LOVEEEE my planet fitness!!! The employees there are amazing!!! The only thing I wish they had is TOILET SEAT COVERS! It's 2025, why are there no toilet seat covers?
New equipment was put in but no toilet seat covers.
Please consider this as I love this gym and I also love being in healthy environments.

I’ve visited quite a few Planet Fitness locations, and this one stood out, but not in a good way. It only has one pec fly and three or so bench press machines, which are always occupied. I get that it might be a smaller location, but there was actually plenty of unused space to the right of the front desk near the bathrooms. Despite that, the layout felt incredibly cramped and claustrophobic. Even just spending 30 minutes on the StairMill, with the fans running, I could still smell everyone’s sweat because of how crowded it was. I would much rather go to Calumet Park.

My son opened a membership quite a few years ago. Unfortunately, I have been paying on this membership monthly for not 1 person to use it. My son went in a couple months ago to cancel and they claimed I needed to be there. I live out of state so I ended up calling today. (Yes I know I procrastinated) NOW, they claim there was an annual fee wayyyyyy back in 2023 that wasn't paid so therefore, they cant cancel the membership until that fee is paid! 🤣🤣 so they will continue to charge me monthly! Now, mind you, my son nor myself have used the membership for years and I continued to pay $22/mo.PLUS the annual $39 fee! PF makes it literally impossible for one to cancel a membership because of course the corporate office doesnt answer their phone either! I will accept responsibility for not dealing with this sooner but seriously? Cancel the frickin membership! They even said nobody has used the membership since 2023! Please run from PF because its ridiculous that they cannot cancel a membership unless in person! Then Sofia finally agrees to cancel BUT I need to pay a supposed $39 annual fee that somehow they claim wasn't taken out in 2023 but had no problems taking out monthly/annually since then! They are ridiculous and I used to love this gym BUT absolutely will never ever again go back! There's other gyms that make life way easier than this place! JUST STAY AWAY!

The Planet Fitness at Evergreen Park is about 8 minutes drive from my house! The facility is very clean, there is a large variety of different types of equipment. THE BEST THING ABOUT PF I S IT’ S OPEN 24/7 so I really have NO excuse to workout @ least 3 days a week🏋🏾‍♂️🏃🏾‍♀️👏🏾

Went back to my favorite Planet fitness again today it's still a cool place to work out only 1 inconvenience I wish people would STOP sitting on machines 30 plus minutes on their cell phones honestly Why go to a Gym to be on your cellphone? A friend and I just visited Planet Fitness at 95th and Western (Evergreen Park). We were given guess passes from our friend whom is a Black Card member. We were interested in getting memberships as well. Their were 3 employees at the counter. We scanned our passes, but was called back to the counter by the short black woman with glasses and was told we could not enter without the member. We explained we were interested in joining and asked about a free pass for the day to experience the club amenities and environment. The woman told us we would have to pay $20 for a one day pass. This makes no sense. This woman showed no interest in the possibility of signing two new members. She was firm in her responses and not friendly at all. We decided to leave after the unwelcoming experience. After leaving, I went on line and saw that planet fitness does offer a free day pass to check out the facility. It's employees like that young woman that put organizations out of business.

Just had the worst experience with the general manager, Gabe, and Sofia! My daughter has been going to this club since January. with no problem, then today she comes in with her sister, and Gabe and Sofia treat them like they are trying to get away with murder. The worst part is that without being transparent, she waits until they leave to cancel her membership. I called back and got the run around for a $ 10-a-month membership with no recourse to speak to the district manager. Poor customer service and a downright petty way to treat two young adults.

The gym is very clean and spacious. But with all that space, there is not a single designated area where you can just stretch and/or do floor workouts or lift free weights, so finding somewhere to do either of those when the gym is busy is tough. Also, despite being such a large gym, there's a surprisingly small selection of free weights and you may have to wait for someone else to use the single available set before you can use them. Staff is always kind.

I like it because of the convenience of the location. However, I would really love with this place to expand in. Not look so glum, I've been to others. There's one in Milwaukee, which is fabulous and bright. And it's huge I don't know who the owners are. But there's extra space there where they could expand and I wish It could be worked out.That's the only drawback for this location to me. Oh, and you have to make sure that you wipe off everything before you use it. I've watched people literally sweat on a machine and walk casually to another machine without Wiping it down, that's an issue, a huge issue...nasty ppl

New to this location. I just really walked in to do a tour as a Black Card Member and tbh it's Bigger than most Planet Fitness' I've been to with levels and actual sections for working out. dumbbells, abs and cardio. I have been a member of PF for years! Yesterday as I 'clocked' in and proceeded to the locker room, JULES (front desk person) accosted me and told me that my membership expired 2 days ago. (Why was I not notified?) I asked if I could renew now and she said yes. She gave me the nasty IPAD while I put in my email. After doing ALL OF that, she told me I had to register on my phone. I told her I had a flip phone and that is impossible. She then said well you have to do it at home. I asked why since last year I simply paid with my CC at the facility. She did not have a logical answer. I then asked her if I could just workout for the day and renew at home. She said NO! What was the big deal? She was not only rude, but rather hostile. I did NOT renew at home because her attitude to a client simply turned me off from PF! The front desk desperately needs some additional training on retaining clients. BYE PF!

Joined Planet Fitness in Evergreen Park late 2022. Facility, staff and members were great. Mid 2023 management and staff changed. Machines down, Facility dirty, black card amenities were constantly down. No help from management. One staff member in particular, Jules, was consistently rude to members and non existent at the desk. Again, no help from management. Early 2024 locker was broken into, lock cut off as well as several other members. Jules was asked to call Evergreen Park Police and her reply was "I don't call but you can" as she walked away. Planet Fitness refused to work with Evergreen Park Police with investigation, cameras or logs. Be warned of this facility, many other great clubs within driving distance. Again, never had a problem with the members only Planet Fitness staff and NEW management.

Every time I go in this place, there’s always an issue with my membership. I have been a black card member for 2 years. Black card membership includes all PF worldwide. which means I can go anywhere as it states in the contract. For some reason at this specific PF, the employees tell me every time I can’t go there and that they’re not associated with my home gym. I proceeded to go to my home gym and talked with them. I joined this gym about a week ago and me my service dog went there on my first visit. My first time there the Manager Gabriel told me that my dog needed to be in the computer because he’s a guest and falls under the black card member. I’m not a black card member but I didn’t understand the examples of why he told me. He said just in case she steps on a nail or get beat up in here or if she attacks someone.I told him why would someone want to beat up my dog, all he said that it could happen. He said it was there policy. Because she is a guest.
I was really surprised to be treated like this and made to feel very uncomfortable here.

I’ve sent the email that you requested and I’ve never heard back from you at all. It’s been well over two weeks and I’m certain that no investigation was done nor any reeducation. You can also Visit the ADA website and gain valuable information that you should be following as well.

I've been to several PF locations and want to say this one is top tier imo. It's very roomy with lots of (working) upgraded equipment!
The very best part is how the employees take care of the facility! It's super duper clean. I swear I witnessed both KJ and Katie wiping, dusting, cleaning mirrors and greeting customers with a smile my entire 2 hr. workout. I just have to give them both a big shoutout!

I was working in the area, needed to use the washroom at 3am because EVERYTHING is closed. I do have a membership and was showen the washroom by the employee with no issue, just disapointed as the washroom was messy and there was no toilet paper in the stall. I wouldn’t of even given one star for this location. However, been going to this location for 3-days and today marked the 3rd day and my last day coming to this location. My BF came to the gym while I was already there he scanned the guest QR and walked away. Unsurprisingly, a staff member named “Bryan” decided to over step his boundaries regarding my BF QR scan instead of just looking up the account holders name he became overly aggressive, rude and disrespectful to my Bf and myself indicating he was trespassing lol how could that be so when his picture pops up with the QR code to the point that Evergreen Park police dept. were called for this discrepancy of this ridiculous matter. I awaited the police’s present and had conversation based on how I and my BF was being treated . I will not tolerate discrimination and Planet Fitness in Evergreen Park will be handled accordingly.

I like coming to this planet fitness they play good music even in the summer time love the atmosphere. The only issue here at this place that bothers me is the service and the machines they are always out of order and when I come back the machines are not fixed some of them are out of order and the service is bad I don’t see how their nice when I’m being told run arounds when I come here. I been asking for a lock for a week now and I was told you guys don’t take cash app but apply pay and my cash app is in my Apple Pay. Plus when I use a machine here some costumers take too long on one and tend to be rude when you take a machine and tend to argue with you about it when your paying to come here honestly . I have been wanting to speak to the manager since the longest about that issue actually. I finally got my own lock I do not need one from you guys but once things get improve here I will change the rating
