I’ve been coming to the gym pretty late for about 2 weeks now and every time I get there I am greeted by the lovely Amanda! She’s not only kind but man she’s cleaning the heck out of that gym! While at the same time helping customers and tending to the rest of the gym. Amanda is working her hardest even at 1am in the morning. I’m not surprised to come leave a review and see folks already giving her praise. Give her a raise or something! Manager? CEO? She’s awesome!

Man I could not believe this place, as a gymaholic myself when I first walked in it was like being hit in the face with a rainbow full of life. My man Kyle was the best showing me what's what and this is the GREATEST GYM OF ALL TIME. Kyle is like the embodiment of a planet fitness superhero. My home gym is Tinley however when I started coming to Frankfort I couldn’t be happier. I work out 5-6 days a week most weeks. Frankfort is a brighter scene and Amanda is always so friendly and welcoming and constantly cleaning. (In all my times there after early morning hours I’ve never seen anyone else cleaning like her). This is another reason I choose Frankfort over Tinley. Having a clean warm welcoming place to work out makes my day!!! Way to go Amanda!

Management is a little girl. Her solution for solving problems are to cancel your membership. I was charged four times double membership fee and I am a black card holder. She gave me a 800 number for ABC billing. Told me the problem had to be resolved with that company. ABC could not help me because the billing didn't come from there company. I was billed directly from planet fitness. This took me over two hours to get no results. Check your bank statements.

“Kyle: The Unsung Hero of Planet Fitness Frankfort — A Greek God in a Purple Shirt”

If Planet Fitness Frankfort were a spaceship, Kyle would be the captain, co-pilot, chief engineer, head of hospitality, and the intergalactic DJ spinning bangers while steering us all toward a better version of ourselves. This man isn’t just an employee—he’s a vibe, a legend, and possibly part golden retriever based on his energy and enthusiasm.

Let’s talk about Kyle’s greetings, because walking into Planet Fitness and being met with his smile is the equivalent of your favorite hype man saying, “You’re about to CRUSH it today, king/queen!” It doesn’t matter if you’ve just rolled out of bed in mismatched socks and still smell like last night’s regret—Kyle greets you like you’re Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson coming to film a commercial.

Need help figuring out how a machine works? Kyle’s your guy. One time I approached him, wildly confused, trying to do triceps on a hamstring curl machine. He didn’t judge—he just floated over like a fitness angel and whispered, “Maybe try facing the other way?” I’ve never been corrected so gently. He’s like the Bob Ross of gym advice: no mistakes, just happy little corrections.

You want cleanliness? Kyle keeps this gym looking like a purple palace. I saw this man disinfecting dumbbells with the focus of a NASA scientist cleaning space equipment. You could probably eat off the elliptical machines here, but don’t—Kyle will gently remind you, “Sir, this isn’t Olive Garden.”

He’s got jokes too. One time I was gasping after a brutal set and said, “Man, cardio is trying to kill me.” Kyle just smiled and said, “Don’t worry—cardio only kills your ego, not your body. That’s my job.” Then he walked away like a comedic ninja, leaving me in mid-sweat existential reflection.

And let’s not forget his fashion sense. Kyle rocks that black-and-purple Planet Fitness shirt like it’s a custom-tailored Armani suit. I once saw him match his shoes to the wall color and I almost cried. It’s like if GQ did a “Gym Bros Who Actually Care” edition, Kyle would be on the cover, holding a mop like a scepter.

On top of all that, he somehow remembers EVERYBODY’S NAME. I’ve changed gym times six different times trying to throw him off, and he still goes, “Hey, you’re back! Welcome in, Jett!” I don’t even remember my name at 6:00 a.m., but Kyle remembers mine? That’s elite.

The man is part-time trainer, part-time therapist, full-time legend. If Planet Fitness ever builds statues, Kyle should be the first cast in bronze—mid-lunge, high-fiving a new member, with a towel over his shoulder and a sparkle in his eye.

Final thought: I don’t know what Planet Fitness pays Kyle, but it’s not enough. If it were up to me, he’d get a raise, a tiara, and his own pre-workout flavor (Kyleberry Explosion™).

If you’re thinking about joining a gym and you live anywhere near Frankfort, do yourself a favor and join this Planet Fitness just to experience the Kyle Effect. It’s more motivating than a Rocky training montage, and with fewer raw eggs.

So I've gone to a lot of planet fitness spots all over the country because of my former job. This place is clean but it's too crowded in terms of equipment. You need to have a good space for stretching and jumping rope. We paid 25 a month plus yearly fee. At least be a proper gym not just filled with equipment. The one in Tinley park has a window view where you can stretch n lots of space.

Always very clean in the gym area and they seem to fix equipment once notified it's broken. The front desk attendants are very attentive vs other gyms.

This location is always super clean and the staff is so nice. Always machines available and everything is put in order. Very rare to see nowadays. Enough space to get a great workout in and also the tanning beds & massage beds are always working. Highly recommend joining if you are looking to get a good workout in a clean environment. Kyle is also a great team member and is always there when needed to take care of business.

Not happy with the policy of no Rope Jump at this location. I was told for liability reasons. How bout dropping a free weight on your foot or slipping on a treadmill etc . I know this is a franchise, but they allow at other Planet Fitness locations and LA Fitness
Locations . Other than that the place is clean and the staff is good

I came in at 9:40 pm for a quick tanning session but he wouldn't let me use it. I understand You close at 10pm but the longest tanning is only 12 minutes. I could have even done a shorter session. But he said we close in 5 minutes. I said you mean 20 minutes. He said I'm closing early tonight. Meanwhile at least 7 people are still using the cardio equipment.
