Had to stop in to take a shower. The showers feature a changing area with a hook and a chair inside them. Very spacious, but not so clean. Stray hairs and crusty stuff all over the walls. Yucky! Thankfully, that's an easy fix! Other than that the staff seemed nice and alert for a night crew.

I try to go to PF always but 1 thing that makes it hard is am an over the road truck driver so my concern is how is the truck parking situation. I have been a Planet Fitness member at various locations during the past 10+ years. These gyms have updated equipment, lots of space, a friendly staff, and all at a great monthly rate.

Very pleased with this gym. The staff are all friendly, the gym is ALWAYS clean and you always see someone working to keep it that way. The Black card is a fantastic deal with low pricing for full gym access, including tanning, red light and massage chairs and beds; along with being able to bring a friend in with you at no cost to them.

Giving 3 stars because the hours of the gym. The lack of being a 24 hour gym 7 days a week is extremely inconvenient. I went in at 1400 today on Christmas eve and was told they closed in 2 minutes. Not everyone has some where to go on Christmas eve.

By far one of the best clubs I’ve been to across the states. As a trucker, I don’t normally come across too many Planet Fitness locations as nice as this one. I came when it was pretty dead on an overnight so not too much foot traffic, but just about everything in the gym was clean and the showers were freshly rinsed out and pretty spotless as well. Score!
I read some of the reviews about this club on my way here, I like to do my homework before I make a stop, and I’ve never understood why people will leave weird comments on google reviews instead of just talking to the staff members. Be vocal you weirdos! Awesome club, for sure will stop by again if I ever have the pleasure of taking this route once more!

They advertise 24/5 definitely not that. It’s 24 hours a day 3 days a week. Hours are fairly limited the other 4 days a week. They just aren’t doing what they advertise on the front of the building.

Great spot for working out, 90% of the time there's not a ton of ppl there, other than between (4:30pm -5:30pm).
I've kept there black card membership since they opened a few years ago. They have Tanners, massage chairs, hydro massage water bed is amazing, and staff are all super friendly and helpful.

Love the staff. They are so sweet. Ice cold water whenever you want it, a great locker room, clean showers, and the awesome massage chairs and tanning beds. This place has any piece of equipment or weight that you can ever even dream of touching like they even have a stretch cage. This place blew me away. I love Planet Fitness. And for the price point, you really can't beat it. I have the black membership card, and I pay $24.99, and I get all of the amenities plus some. Give Planet Fitness a shot like I did, and you won't regret it

Definitely lied to about the billing. They tell you there's an annual fee, they don't charge it annually, they charge it on your second month. Wouldn't trust them at all, also, how does a gym not have a bench or squat rack?

Sunday morning and I was early to meet my friends for breakfast nearby, so I popped in here and burned off a few calories that I would be reacquiring shortly.
Lots of machines, lots of weights. I did my 30 minute circuit where I did arms and legs and some cardio. And then... shower! Nice changing area near the showers with a chair to put my gym bag on instead of the floor.
Friendly greeting and my Black Card membership scanned just fine.

Dealt with a very rude and smug staff Saturday March 16th 2024, at 5:00pm. Wife and I are cancelling our memberships. Wouldn't recommend, the staff here are specially young and not really versed in dealing with the outside world. Do not go here unless you like being talked down to by teens.

Cleanest gym I've ever been in and most of the staff is friendly. Used the tanning beds a few times, got in there undressed, and the bed wouldn't come on. Had to put my clothes back on to tell one of the staff members to activate the bed. 😡

This is my favorite club I’ve been to by far! The gym is clean, the staff is beyond friendly and helpful. Everyone here is very welcoming. Griffin is an absolute amazing GM. He helped me with all my questions and concerns! No other club I’ve been to comes close to the one here in Mount Vernon. 10/10 will recommend to others.

I've been traveling the US in my campervan and visited dozens of PF's l. This is the nicest one I've been to! VERY clean, staff was friendly, and showers were great! The showers all have an area to change with a chair and towel hook all behind a curtain

Overall I really liked the gym. It was clean and everyone was friendly and the equipment all worked well. My only complaint is how difficult it is to cancel. You can't simply just call them and cancel, you have to either go up there or write them a letter. It wouldn't even let me cancel it on the website despite it being an option. It kept popping up an error message. I understand that they probably make it more difficult to cancel so you'll continue to go to the gym, but when you are having to cancel a gym membership, you're already a bit embarrassed of what they will think of you and to top it off you are expected to cancel it in person... I don't know, I guess to some people it isn't a big deal, but I don't think you should have to jump through hoops just to cancel something.

I was in the area while traveling home from a vacation last month and was pleasantly surprised to discover this Planet Fitness close to our hotel. Thought I'd get a late night work out in and soon realized that this gym was newly opened. It's very spacious, clean, well organized and has a lot of equipment. I would definitely stop by here for a work out again if I find myself in Mount Vernon. It's the largest Planet Fitness I've been to so far and the facility is really nice.

This is a brand new facility, I guess opened 1/2023. Every thing is new, locker room was clean. Showers are spacious as well. All of their massage beds and chairs are top of the line, as well as the tanning beds! Also great customer service. 10/10 (my husband and I travel all over the US, this is one my top picks!)

Definitely a needed fitness center in Mt. Vernon. Even though it's been open for a short time, I can feel it's the gym for me for while I'm in the area. Personal trainer is excellent, outstanding staff, and overall the experience I was looking for. Finally feeling good with my own body 👍10/10
