Really big area. A lot of cardio equipment. Weight equipment is very minimal tho. I can't imagine getting any weight training in during 4pm-10pm possibly super busy and going to have to wait for a long duration of time. Now if your just doing cardio there's plenty of equipment for multiple people. It's actually pretty clean and the people working the front were very friendly and kind. Bathroom for men is clean upon my arrival. I went around 6am and there was a decent amount of people
already inside. Equipment is the newer equipment where it counts your reps and times your breaks. Equipment seemed pretty clean as well.

Front desk lady was great, i came at like 2am and had a nice chat with her, super kind and caring! locker rooms were cleaned and her and her coworker were actively cleaning! hydromassage was fantastic i highly recommend. showers have only a curtain, but changing stalls are right across from the showers! I was accused and Police was called out to the facility to escort me based on what 2 teens stated. “Judgment Free Zone,” but what good is that when they enforce boundaries or protection is only for certain members from harassment I suppose. I been a Black Card Member and Its no telling what the conversation was between the 2 unwanted outside visitors had with manger (s) prior . Had severe leg pain and trying to get swelling down and redness. I'm very appalled but not surprised of what happened next but anything these days with a lot of unwantedness conversation from all cultures and all cultures on devices monitoring devices and a lot of language hackers more than ever usure of all what was going on between the conversation management had with Sayed , and the Female Night Manager unbelievably How frighting things how power change can switch . This was to say the least disheartened but definitely not surprised . Trust no Judgment Call or trust in management and if manager was not there to witness such , who made the final judgment call and called it accurately . Sad Untrue Judges today
is calling out some erroneous fluff today. Management will be reached and sorry to be a Black Card Member .Nice location and Very Pleased with Bethany being Nice & Wise and the two other staff members that shown themselves to be civil and fair. I travel throught the Chicagoland area for work so I visit a few different PF clubs. The Schaumburg one off of Golf rd is my 2nd favorite one. It's clean, the equipment is updated, the black card club has the updated chairs and hydro beds, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The only downside is that they need more free weights, but that is hardly an issue.

Mallory at the Schaumburg location was fantastic. She was patient and explained everything. She took us on a tour and told us about each area. We heard negative reviews about this location. Mallory is the manager here now. We were so impressed with her, it's not just a job, she really does care. The facility is very clean and well kept. Glad we gave it another try.

Today, a couple minutes into my shower - with shampoo in my hair - the water turned ice cold. This also happened to me here about a year ago.

When it happened last year, I let the guy at the front counter know. He seemed surprised and went to check it out.

Today, the guy behind the counter responded with, “it’s the pipes. That’s just how it is.”

What a horrible response, and how terrible it is to own a gym with showers and not to care if customers don’t have hot water for the showers! How cheap do you have to be to not fix the issue???

I should have known this franchisee is a penny-pincher. I’ve visited dozens of Planet Fitness locations across a few states, and this is the only one I’ve visited that closes every single day. If you’re too cheap to pay someone to keep it open 24 hours at least on weekdays, I guess it’s not surprising that you’re too cheap to fix a hot water issue.

Such a convenient location, but it’s far too warm. Regardless if it’s summer or winter, it always feels like it’s in the mid-70s. It’s hard to be motivated to workout when it’s that warm. I’ve been going here for years and started bringing a small fan which just doesn’t cut it.

Also, it has so many unused treadmills while people are waiting in line for the much more popular weight machines. It could definitely use some reconfiguring and additional machines based on their popularity.

After getting over a bad day at work in the morning. I had a great way to start my mood in the evening with workout. After my massage the same foreign guy I went wanted to tan after. Started to have a conversation went good. He gave me a option to sit. Then violated his policy after I sat, he asked whats wrong? I said I'm good, him no bro and judged me for my autism disability. He Bitched me out,said never come back. Very disgusted and offended, really upset they better fire him.

One star is being generous. This is the worst Planet Fitness setup I’ve experienced. The gym is overcrowded with hundreds of cardio machines that take up 75% of the space but are rarely used. Meanwhile, the free weight area is cramped with little room for members. On top of that, poor hygiene and the lack of space make for an overall unbearable experience.

It is very clean especially after visiting another gym nearby. It is impressive since this place is kind of self organized. Starting from some time I almost never see anyone at the front desk. People scan their memberships coming in , no one would check. The members here always clean and wipe machine after use.

The Schaumburg location. Many of the treadmills are broken. I have also been over charged by 79 dollars so far. I have now talked to management 3 times. They have not helped me. Also management is hardly ever at the location. I want this taken care of now. Update 02.28.25. I have now been working with Planet Fitness for a month on this refund. I was promised last week by the manager and planet Fitness themselves i would have my refund by the end of the week. Since an employee made the mistake. It is the end of the week and guess what, I still don't have my refund. I called and there is no manager on staff. The manager is hardly ever in. I will keep updating. Until this is resolved so everyone knows how the Schaumburg Planet Fitnes is run.

Every time I sign in, I say hello but get ignored, as the staff is talking on their phone with through their air pods. The worst is a young female staff attendant. I travel for a living and workout at Planet Fitness all over the country and the gym goers at this particular Planet Fitness have terrible gym etiquette. Most of the people leave their weights on the equipment after using it and do not wipe anything down. Many of them also either wear excessive cologne or just wreak of body odor and can be smelled from 25 feet away. The mens bathroom sink and counter are always drenched in water and smell like mildew and often times the paper towel dispensers located threw out the gym are empty.

Cleanliness is a top priority at this location, and it shows. The facility is spotless, from machines to bathroom. You will constantly observe the staff members tidying up and ensuring equipment is clean and sanitized.

The availability of equipment is impressive.There's at least two, if not more, of each machine. Even during peak hours, I never have to wait long to use the machines or weights I needed. This location has a wide range of equipment catering to all fitness levels, which allowed me to diversify my workouts and achieve my fitness goals effectively. This location is very large. I've been to a number of PF's across the country and this one takes the cake in space.

In terms of amenities, PF offers everything you could possibly need for a great workout experience. From spacious locker rooms and showers to massage chairs and tanning beds, they truly go above and beyond to provide a comprehensive fitness environment.

The staff members were incredibly friendly and helpful from the moment I walked in. They are always available to answer any questions and provide assistance with equipment. They actively strive to make everyone feel comfortable. To name a few star workers: Carla, Tony, Oscar, Matt, Joe, Sehaj, and Marti (the manager).

Overall, this PF exceeded my expectations in every way possible. I highly recommend this PF to anyone looking for a welcoming and well-maintained fitness facility to pursue their fitness journey.

For the most part I like planet fitness. The equipment is good. The facility is clean. I can't give it 5 stars because they only have one fly machine. Every time I go there it seems someone is using it. I'll go do three or more exercises and the person will still be using it when I am done. Most of the time they will do one set and then sit on the machine while looking at their phone for a few minutes.

Some of the front desk workers need to read the contract policy instead of standing there do nothing.

I had to go there to cancel the 12 months membership that I signed up on the exact same day. And they told me that I have to pay $58 buyout fee because my contract is a 12 month commitment contract… then I opened up the policy, there are some scenarios that membership can be cancelled without paying $58 fee, e.g. canceling within 3 business days after signing up is one of them…
I read it for the staff, and I was able to cancel it at the end… Funny part is without even saying sorry for their ignorance, they kept asking “so you want your $1 startup fee back?”

I had been a member for a few months and initially, I liked the gym. There has been a change in the “nice” staff. The morning crew has very nasty attitudes and barely wipe anything down anymore. For example, when you are in customer service you make eye contact and greet them. Not give an eye roll and then yell good morning. The other crew was much nicer. The crowd here is also snobbish. I would expect this from an upscale gym lol. If you are arrogant then you’d fit right in here.

There is a scary aggressive lady who works here in the mornings.
