Overall, it’s an okay gym, but there are a few challenges. The place gets extremely crowded, especially during peak hours, which makes strength training tough since the equipment is almost always taken. On top of that, canceling my membership was a hassle, you can’t just do it online, which makes the process more inconvenient than it needs to be. It gets the job done, but there’s definitely room for improvement.

Don’t go to this gym! They’re staff seemed to think it was ok for customers to stand and stare at you while yoi work out, swearing and asking you to get off the machines they want when the entire gym is empty. Told by staff that it’s ok to share the machine with someone you don’t know.

I just joined to keep myself busy while my daughter does tumbling next door. Jacob was helpful with choosing a plan that works best for me. Today was my first time using the facilities and I saw at least 5 team members cleaning at one time and felt clean! I also used the aqua massage and it felt amazing. Can’t wait to try the red light therapy next.

Planet Fitness is getting worse. Black Card membership is supposed to give full access to all locations, but now they’ve made it restrictive. Many locations are separating into their own systems—you have to sign in every time, and after 5–7 visits outside your “home gym group,” they charge extra. It’s no longer flexible like before. Might be time to discover another gym like CFX and make reviews later.

This is probably the best Planet Fitness that I have been to in a long time. I just with Planet Fitness the past week and this location is never extremely busy and there are always equipment/ machines to utilize which is fantastic. The staff is also very friendly on site. I was really disappointed to discover they had let the AM Joey go this week. Joey constantly provided the most professional service, responded to any complaint quickly, and always greeted you with a smile. His attention to detail made the gym always sparkling clean and operational. I would leave my motorcycle helmet with him during my workout and I came back to find my visor perfectly cleaned every time. This is just one example of how Joey made the experience here at PF unique. His energy will be greatly missed.

I before didn’t go to the gym and my friends talked to me about it and I’ve been going for about 4 months now and am both physically and mentally happy now. I like the workers here, they would always help me out and motivate me here on a personal level in which you don’t get much of. I've been to a few PFs and this is by far the nicest. Equipment all new, spacious floor and locker rooms, new massage chairs and tan beds. I've been to Fox Valley, Carol Stream, Conroe Texas, and Carson CA, they all fall way short of WeGo. Showers take a least 5 mins to get hot water, outside that it is the best.

The music is insufferable and unbearably loud. I can hear it through my music on my headphones. I can hardly make it through a workout at this place without a pulsating headache. Its teenage girl dance music playing all day everyday here. Bring heavy duty earplugs. It’s liberating when you walk out the door.

My husband and I have been coming to this planet fitness for a few months now. We have found that this is the best PF that we have been to overall. This facility not only maintains their equipment, but the staff constantly keeps them clean - including the floors and the counter tops . . which we have found to be really dusty at other planet fitness gyms. Nothing is worse than stretching in a stretching room full dust balls. Thankfully this PF does not have that. Super grateful, super clean. 10/10, would recommend.

Standing at the door (that says open 24/7) at 720am and it is locked. Despite the door saying 24/7 and online saying 7-7 for today 12/18/21. Nice facility but poorly managed judging by the amount of complaints like this. Manager might need to be onsite to ensure it occasionally opens on time.

Update, since going 24/7 during the week, cannot complain about the place being closed when it should be open. Staff is always friendly and the place is clean. I love that I rarely have to wait for a machine. 2 criticisms, and they are not that bad.

1. Apple Watch is compatible with cardio equipment. But on some of the bikes and elliptical machines, when you try to sync it gives you the option of run or walk, which is not correct on a bike or elliptical. It seems like maybe some of the wrong updates are loaded onto some of the cardio machines.

2. I would like to have a free weight barbell and bench setup. They have the guided machine that I would normally use for squats, but I would prefer an actual free weight barbell and bench, but for the price and availability I would now give 4.5 stars rounded down to 4.

Very nice place to work out and at a great price. This Planet Fitness recently opened up in West Chicago. It's located at North Avenue and Route 59 in West Chicago. The one thing I noticed when I walked into this Planet Fitness is that it's a very nice size for a gym. Planet Fitness is a top quality gym and they offer the best membership prices in the industry. At $10 a month for membership I do not think you can beat or even match that price at any health club in the market place. This Planet Fitness location carries Life Fitness as well as Hammer Strength machines. The club is very clean. You cannot go wrong with a Planet Fitness membership.

Just a recommendation, bring the most secure and resistant padlock you can find, if you are going to leave your personal stuff in the lockers or just do not leave any valuable items. Literally in my first visit I got picked pocket from there. It is a shame because the staff lady was very kind and professional even when I was the very last to leave, everything was very clean and organized; only one of the cushion's biceps-triceps machine needs to be repaired.

I walked in with my daughter to try to make a couple of memberships or even learn more about this gym since I am new to this area, however, the staff, including the male manager Octavia, was very rude, unprofessional, and dismissive.
