I can't say enough about Platform Pilates. I've been taking instruction there for 2 or so years. The classes are small 6 people max and generally 4. The instructors are amazing and really get to know you and assist you in working to your fullest. There are also private and semi private sessions. The studio is small enough that you get to know all of the instructors. The environment is clean, light filled and inviting. Having taken classes at other studios, this is the only one I've experienced that fosters a sense of community, and personal well being.

This pilates studio is light and airy - and the teachers are superb, has a following but there are a lot of classes offered. I started reformer pilates here, and have been continually happy with the instruction, personal attention and the vibe. Lauren helped me to diagnose and treat a specific leg/hip issue that I had been unable to resolve elsewhere - so it's like physical therapy, core and muscle work rolled into one!

I am completely new to Pilates and could not have picked a better studio to try to do it. Platform Pilates is a small studio that is all about leaning and doing Pilates regardless of what level you are at. So someone like me can be a total beginner and take a class with others who know what they are doing and it totally doesn’t matter. Everyone leaves feeling like they got the best work out and even had some fun doing it. I have totally fallen in love with the team at Platform Pilates and it has become a fantastic addition to my weekly workout. Regardless of your age, size or fitness level, Platform Pilates is a breath of fresh air and an amazing workout!!

I visited Chicago for work, and joined 2 sessions at a request. I had an amazing sessions, which literally saved my back.
The studio beautiful and comfy, the instructors are amazing and the vibes are so amazing.
I will come back for sure next time I visit Chicago. I really recommend Platform Pilates!

I had an excellent experience at Platform Pilates.
I'm a pilates instructor from out of state, in Chicago for work. I was able to break away for a class and found this studio on Mindbody. Their class description mentioned that it was Intermediate/Advanced, so I emailed the studio owner to explain my background. Understandably, pilates studios don't always allow unknown students to register for classes, especially Int/Adv levels, but for a traveling practitioner, in desperate need of movement, it can limit the options. I received an almost immediate response back from the studio owner, who even CC'd the instructor to loop them in. It requires extra effort to get to a studio in a new city and their communication made me feel welcome and more certain that my effort would result in a positive experience.
The studio is gorgeous, clean, and well stocked with amenities. The equipment is well maintained and there was a closet fully stocked with props. The instructor Lauren was friendly, welcoming, and took the time to introduce me to a reformer type I wasn't familiar with. Lauren put together a dynamic flow, kept us in the breath, and cued through the movements in a clear descriptive way.
I am grateful for the positive class experience. Thanks to the team at Platform Pilates!

I am absolutely obsessed with this studio and the owner Amanda. I suffer from chronic pelvic, back & hip pain and have been in and out of physical therapy for over 7 years. After a 4-month, very stubborn flare, I finally decided to give Pilates a go. After training with Amanda for two months, 2x per week, I can say that I am now 90% pain free and feeling stronger than ever. Amanda is a WEALTH of knowledge. She is as knowledgeable as any physical therapist I've ever worked with and is amazing at providing adjustments to your needs. I have also trained with Karen who is incredibly knowledgeable, sweet and super fun to work with. Whether you suffer from chronic pain, or are just interested in exploring Pilates I would highly recommend Platform. It has changed my life, and I will continue to train here as long as I can!

Since the start of 2024, I've been attending Platform Pilates, and it has truly been an incredible journey! The studio is stunning and incredibly inviting. The entire team there is kind, supportive, and motivating. Working individually with both Amanda and Karen has been both enjoyable and challenging. It's been an opportunity not only to improve myself but also to build connections with them. Platform fosters a close-knit community of like-minded individuals, which is great if you're new to Pilates, or a seasoned professional. Amanda and the other pilates instructors were amazing. They were attentive and gave great corrections. I took individual and group classes which were both challenging. I was a complete Pilates novice and honestly, I can't imagine going anywhere else in Chicago for my Pilates workouts. Amanda is a gem as is Karen, and I cannot say enough about the culture of inclusivity and care they have cultivated in this studio. Small group classes, everyone is friendly, encouraging, and a true champion to your growth, and I genuinely enjoy seeing these people multiple times a week. It's a great combination of a workout, physical therapy, and making my muscles and alignment stronger. Cannot recommend them enough!!

Platform Pilates is a complete gem of a studio. When I started on my fitness journey about 1.5 years ago, I was apprehensive of going to a place where I wasn't going to be the most flexible, the most fit person in the room and the instructors here have been most welcoming. In fact, there is no size-ism or wrinkled nose effect in seeing new clients who come in all shapes, sizes, and ages. I've taken various group classes with different instructors and each of them are first-rate. You spent majority of the group classes on the reformers, unlike some places that charge you reformer access-price but stick you on a mat 90% of the time. It's like going to work out with good friends who root for one another and the students are friendly with one another. I'm fond of the private lessons with Amanda (owner) who makes working out fun and something you want to get better at. During the privates, you get access to the other Pilates machines (the Cadillac, the chair, the barrel-looking thing, and other spring cables that provide more targeted workouts). 5-star review and would encourage any prospective client to give this place a try.

Absolutely love Platform - started in the fall of 2020 and have been going twice a week ever since! As someone who has had 3 knee surgeries and had to retire from soccer and running, this has been a great addition to my routine.Every teacher is friendly and supportive and my body has never looked or felt better!

I started at Platform Pilates when I was 8 weeks postpartum to rebuild my core and pelvic floor. I had never done Pilates before so started by doing a few privates and then transitioned into classes.
Platform Pilates has been the best investment in my health. I found a workout that I truly enjoy as well as feel stronger. Every instructor leads a challenging workout, is knowledgeable, and takes the time to learn everyone’s name. Instructors have me laughing during classes as well as building whole body strength.
I highly recommend Platform Pilates for the challenging workouts and community the instructors brings to every class!

Platform Pilates has an amazing space and staff. The space is clean, organized and beautiful. I have taken private sessions with Amanda (the owner) for about 10 years. She is highly skilled and knowledgable. She changes my pilates routine to keep me challenged yet will dial it back when I have an injury so I can continue to workout without fear of re-injuring myself. She actually makes me look forward to working out. I have also taken private sessions and classes from every other member of her team. They are all great! I highly recommend Platform Pilates for a fun, customized and challenging workout!

I have trained with Amanda in private classes for a number of years. in the past year I have added group sessions with different trainers several times per month. I can’t speak highly enough of Platform Pilates! Amanda and her team are so knowledgeable and take such care in creating safe, effective, and efficient workouts that really push you.
When I injured my back, Amanda’s workouts were the only thing to help, strengthening all areas of my body that I didn’t even know I needed. She has also tailored our workouts to strengthen my knees and ankles, weekend from years of arthritis inflammation.
I have been working out consistently for 25 years and nothing has made me feel as strong as my work at Platform Pilates.

THE BEST. I've taken private classes with the owner, Amanda, as well as group classes, and I can't rate this studio more highly. The space is clean and beautiful, and Amanda is extremely knowledgeable and intentional with her training. I've been taking classes at Platform Pilates for a few months, and already feel significantly stronger, more balanced, and my chronic back pain (disc injuries/tech neck, etc.) feels better than I've felt after months of physical therapy. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

Platform pilates is amazing. It’s in a relaxed and comfortable loft setting. Every single teacher is professional and exceptionally trained to keep you working at an increasingly challenging level and the workout is never the same. I've been going to this pilates studio for six months now, and I can't recommend it highly enough! The studio has a great environment that's both welcoming and inspiring, and the instructors are all very friendly and knowledgeable.
What I love most about this studio is the attention to detail that the instructors give to each and every one of their clients. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced pilates practitioner, they take the time to understand your individual needs and tailor their instruction to help you achieve your goals.
The equipment is top-notch, and the studio is always clean and well-maintained. I appreciate that they offer a variety of classes to choose from, so you can mix it up and keep your workouts fresh.

Platform pilates is amazing! I’m 28 and have had a chronic ankle issue for years and after a recent surgery I was having a hard time relearning how to use my muscles and could barely even walk. One of my friends suggested I try STOTT pilates, a rehab form of pilates to try and retrain my muscles to work together/ work on my stabilizers. After only 3 sessions with Jackie I saw a HUGE difference, was even able to walk 1.5 miles back to my apartment pain free!! She is truly amazing, with a positive warm and upbeat attitude. I now recommend platform pilates to all of my friends who are dealing with an injury or just looking to get in shape! Jackie and the rest of platform pilates is wonderful, I highly recommend!

I have been coming to platform twice a week for about 9 months. My back pain is thing of the past, my hips, shoulders and neck all move now. Amanda and Lauren have not only whipped my core into shape but they have helped me regain functional movement and my athleticism. On top of that, they are friendly and excellent coaches. I've found my new favorite workout class - I love Jump! I had never done pilates and was worried it would be difficult to get the hang of the machine, but the instructors at Platform Pilates were great and made me feel really comfortable as I learned in the Connect class. I tried Jump and it's got great energy and is fun! Lauren is a wonderful, patient teacher who really helped me make sure I had good form throughout and I love the studio - very clean and well maintained. This team will definitely be part of my regular workout rotation!

I am a Pilates instructor, personnel training er, and massage therapist myself, so I’m pretty picky about who I work with. Amanda is one of the few instructors I would actually pay to work with. Not only do I get my money’s worth, but I have a great time. I’ve worked with Amanda for 6 years. Her knowledge goes beyond Pilates choreography and deep into an understanding of movement and human anatomy and physiology.
Working with Amanda has helped increase my athletic performance as a competitive triathlete, stay injury free in my rigorous weight lifting program, and build a lean physique...all while having fun.
