I bumped into the owner of this establishment at my job and he was so physically fit I just knew he was an Athletics coach or something of that nature before I asked him. He invited me to his fitness studio and we went over a fitness/weight training regiment for my 52-year-old body. I was skeptical at first but he assured me that I would not be bulky and would be pleased with results. He did not disappoint 👍 he is very professional and knowledgeable on nutrition as well. He even had me log in to a meal journal online where he could track, critique/tweak the foods that I was eating. That helped tremendously. I would advise anyone of any fitness level (particularly over 40 plus) to seek consultation with Mr Pfau for strengthening their bodies and improving their eating habits. He's very informative. He also has information YouTube videos as well.

Jacob is a fantastic fitness instructor! My fiancé and I have been going the last 2 months and we both feel amazing since we’ve started. He’s given guidance for healthy habits on eating & has been a wonderful fitness instructor to work with. We highly recommend anyone to join Jacob’s gym!!

Jacob is a great trainer! He's very bright and knowledgeable. I've been working out on my own for years but Jacob has taken me to the next level. He's a stickler for form and has helped me see how perfecting my form can help me lift more and get stronger. He's also got a great personality and makes the time spent lifting fun. The studio itself is very clean and safe. I highly recommend Barbell Life!

I first met Jacob when he was working at another gym. He was the first trainer I met who knew and applied the principles of strength progression and programming. Both principles are necessary to build functional strength. I made consistent progress while being trained and coached by Jacob. He programmed my workouts based on where I was and where I wanted and needed to go. For example I could not do a full barbell squat. Jacob helped me progress to being able to safely squat 90 lbs.
Our training was suspended when the pandemic began. Needless to say I was overjoyed when Jacob opened Barbell Life. A person can get one-on-one training and coaching from a knowledgeable, motivating, experienced coach-Jacob Pfau. I enthusiastically recommend him to anyone who wants to build strength and improve his or her and mobility or who just wants to look and feel strong.
