Had a great experience at The Puppysphere in West Town on 11/30. Location was easy to find. I had read some reviews that made me a little nervous, but they were totally unfounded. The studio was clean, staff were super friendly, and the puppies all seemed to be in great shape. At any time the puppies went potty, the staff were right there to clean up and make sure that the yoga attendees didn’t see (or smell!) anything. Our class had 11 participants and there were 7 puppies. Now, I am not a real yoga guy - but I had a blast. The class was more breath work and basic stretching. If you are looking for serious yoga, go to a serious yoga studio. There are limits as to what kind of workouts you can do so that you don’t accidentally step on one of the puppies racing around the room. And isn’t that what we are there for anyway? So, kudos to the team and thanks for a great break on a chilly Chicago day!

My group of 14 girls came to Puppyshere for my bachelorette and it was such a fun activity for our group! The yoga was very simple for all levels, and all the girls handling the pups were so friendly and we chatted with them while playing with the puppies. The concept is super fun and a great way to spend 45 min! The puppies are adorable and they made the overall experience great.

The website states that they work with local shelters and breeders. I would like to see more shelter puppies and less breeder ones (especially because ours were all already adopted).

This is a pretty expensive class for what you’re getting, so I would hope that some of the money is donated to a shelter.

Overall this is a fun experience and the puppies run around and tug on you/play together. They did need to relive themselves/bite people as puppies do, so this is something to expect. It is pricey for what you get, but it’s a fun activity to do with others & get to play with puppies.

This was a great expirience. the facility is very clean and the employees are very good at making sure everyone gets a turn with the dogs. All the dogs are very friendly. This place is awesome. You get 45 minutes of great yoga instruction (Anna was a fun and great instructor) with the puppies running around, and then 30 minutes of just social time with the puppies and time to take pictures and videos. Sarah and Sofia the employees were very kind and nice to talk to. If I could give zero stars I would. I attended a class for a bachelorette party. While the class was starting to wind down and the puppies were starting to doze off. One of the puppy's came up to me and nuzzled up in my armpit. I lifted my head to look and the puppy and was bit on the face and started bleeding badly.

The staff there was quick to react and helped me clean up the wound. They told me that if I needed to seek medical attention that they would help cover the cost and that someone would reach out from corporate.

As expected no one reached out until I asked about the puppy's medical records. They offered me another free class (like I would want to return) I had to go to urgent care to get a tetanus shot and round of antibiotics. I have a gross scar and no feeling in the part of my nose where I was bit.

I would never go back after, and if you do please be so careful with them getting close to your face as I know this is a really popular activity for bachelorettes

Experience wasn’t worth it, the best part was mainly the yoga. These were poses I do everyday at home. Staff wasn’t that friendly seemed like they were ready to go home. The puppies were in the second to last session, the 2pm session. mind you there were 3 other sessions prior and one right after ours at 4 so they were exhausted. There were only 5 and they literally could barely keep their eyes open they looked so sad I felt terrible. One of them had white fur with pee spots on their feet. One dog pooped and stepped in it and the employee did not wipe his feet off. There’s over 15 people per session so all of the mats are super close and with the poses they have us do we are practically touching eachother, I did one pose and touched someone’s feet behind me with my hands. Thank god she had on socks unlike 4 other people in the session which seems super unsanitary as I doubt they clean the mats. It’s a cute studio though that’s the only upside.

I arrived to the building at 1:30 (session was at 2) and when I buzzed in the staff told me that they weren’t letting people up until 1:45. How about putting that on the flyer? Also, my friend was late. She arrived at 2:30. She was told in a condescending manner that she couldn’t join the yoga session but she can come up for the social portion. For the amount of money, I expected a more friendly atmosphere and more than 4 puppies for everyone to play with. Let’s be real, no one is doing this
for the yoga. Overall, this was a waste of time and money. Don’t do it.
