This review is long overdue.
I have been training at Push for over 10 years with Steve and Michelle. You can’t find more dedicated trainers/owners. They genuinely care about their clients and run their business with integrity.
The gym is full functioning from strength to cardio, spotless, and I truly appreciate that it never smells like a gym!
The workouts are tailored to me based on my goals and abilities and although challenging are made fun by the constant change up. Guidance with diet and food is readily available and can be monitored with food journals that keep you accountable.
Sessions have made me physically and mentally stronger and I credit Michelle and Steve for helping me onto that path. Highly recommend Push Fitness!

I joined this gym a couple of months ago to learn how to train, manage a diet, and push myself. The facility is tidy and nice for concentrating on your workout. My trainer, Steve, is very knowledgeable about technique and nutrition. He knows exactly how hard I want him to challenge and encourage me. I have lost my fat by 7% so far. He'll satisfy your needs whether you want a mild or intense workout. Worth trying out!

I worked out at PUSH and Nicole was my coach. I’ve worked with a number of personal coaches over the years and Nicole was one of the best I worked with. She varied our workouts to keep me engaged, she challenged me to push myself beyond what I thought I was capable of doing and always celebrated the milestones I achieved. Most important, she made it fun. Even during the pandemic when things were shut down, she was checking in with me to see what I was doing to keep active. The only reason I’m not still there working with Nicole is I retired and going to that facility is no longer convenient for me. I highly recommend PUSH.

I was looking for a gym where I could relax and exercise without anyone judging me from the time I walked through the doors and Push Fitness is that gym. As soon as you walk in, everybody, including the clients welcomes you, encourages you to not give up on yourself, and gives great nutritional advice on losing body weight. Also, Push Fitness had a great 1 on 1 connection with their clients. Former clients come and go and decide to return to this gym to tone their bodies back into shape. If you want to lose weight and do not know where to go because gyms are intimidating, Push Fitness is your gym.

I tried a lot of different weight loss and exercise programs after having kids, and working full time and nothing worked. I hit my absolute low mentally and and needed to focus and commit to do this for myself. Push fitness helped me with accountability for diet and exercise. My trainer, Keith, has been an awesome support in helping me with my goals. The work outs are just the right balance and never the same. I spent basically 10 years trying to get my body back and got there in 6-8 months the right way -healthy way. I went from size 8 to 4! I fit back into clothes from my 20s. I am so happy with my results and highly recommend Push to others. It feels amazing and it’s changed my life for the better.

I was training in Push Fitness for almost one year. That experience was amazing. Especially with Michelle. She is so good at her job, and she is lovely and likes kids (I came for personal training with my daughter). Also I tried group classes. I like them too. You can have Pilates, boot camp and yoga. I can definitely recommend this place 👍

I'm so happy I found Push. Everyone here is super friendly and positive. Both staff and the members. I love that this isn't a public gym and the main focus is personal training. It was exactly what I was looking for. In the 4 months I have been training here I feel like I have made so much more progress than I did in over a year with my previous trainer. And Michelle is awesome! She is always happy and she keeps my workouts interesting and gives me "homework" to keep me doing stuff outside of our sessions. Exactly what I need to keep motivated to keep working towards my goals!

This has to be one of the most interactive gyms I have been to; not only do we have great laughs here, but you can really feel the support end of things when they are training older clients or those coming back from injury.
This is what it is supposed to be like!
Know when to ask more of someone, yet also when to ease up and not overdo it and make it uncomfortable.

I used to be in a fairly good shape but got off the track due to an injury a while back. I added a few pounds and noticed that I was getting tired more than usual and didn't feel energized as before. I read about Push Fitness and the Fittest Loser Challenge and decided to give it a shot. I was a little reluctant at first but Steve and Michelle were very reassuring and helped give me the motivation to stick with the program. It has only been a few weeks and I've lost the extra weight already and I am starting to feel much better and more confident in myself.

PUSH FITNESS has exceeded my expectations & changed my life! It's been one of the best investments I've made in myself! I'm thankful for Josh (owner) who is a fabulous/incredible trainer that pushes/encourages me to keep on track. I had taken a hiatus from working-out & then I found PUSH. I started training five months ago. The workouts were tailored to help me maximize the results I'm looking for. If you put in the time & work which is a challenge, in the end it's well worth the effort.
I decided I needed a change & wanted to get a jump start with starting my new, improved healthy lifestyle. I started at PUSH because it was close by & thought it would be a good change of pace. At first I was skeptical but everything was individualized to my personal needs. Josh is an excellent trainer, he immediately broke down what I needed to do to meet my goals. He tailored my workout's & diet to my specific needs. No workout is ever the same, therefore they're not boring. Josh challenges me to push myself everyday, he provides great encouragement when I need it most & is always available to answer all my questions. It wasn't long before I saw results, my energy level was through the roof, I developed endurance & dropped several sizes in my months of training. I'm now in the best shape of my life, looking & feeling great. I am very pleased with my results & my only regret is not training with PUSH sooner.
Now I can honestly say that I don't dread working-out. I'm addicted & love how I feel after every session. As a result, I sleep better, have a natural, healthy outlet for stress relief, I've lost weight & inches & I'm doing something good for body. My family & friends have commented on the changes that they can see, but the best part is how I feel (stronger, more energy & confidence) which has been life changing for me. I participated in a 12-week fitness challenge through Push Fitness and the Daily Herald. In just 12 short weeks, I lost 65 pounds and lowered many of my health levels from risky to normal. Josh and his entire staff was awesome. During the challenge, my trainer was Patrick. He was very knowledgeable and really pushed me beyond my comfort zone. He had me doing box jumps on the first day! I can’t thank Josh and his staff enough for choosing me to participate in the challenge. It was a wonderful experience and my family and I are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to get my health back on track. In the past, I have been intimidated by going to the gym because I felt like everyone was watching me. At Push Fitness, it is a more intimate setting with a “family feeling”. I have used personal trainers in the past and felt as though I was just one of many clients. I felt a genuine connection and engagement with the staff. If you are looking for some 1 on 1 training, Push Fitness is the place to go.

I started going here for group fitness with a few friends to get back in shape after several years of no exercise just to tighten up my waist and stuff. After a few weeks of seeing results, I was motivated to take it to the next level with personal training lessons and am so glad I started coming here. I started going to the group fitness classes at Push Fitness in Schaumburg for 3 months and they really helped me get in shape fast. If you are looking for a high-quality personal training - Push is the right place. Michelle was my personal trainer and she was awesome! She always ensured that my technique is correct to avoid any injuries.

I went to Push Fitness for personal training before my wedding to help me lose weight and get in better shape. They gave me that extra push I needed to get the results I was really after. If you are looking for a fun and private environment to lose weight or just get in to shape in Schaumburg Illinois, this is definitely the place. Push Fitness has given my life back, literally. I didn't realize how greatly I was compromising my wellness before working with the team at this outstanding facility.
Everyone's guilty of stasis in some aspect of their lives—getting used to how things are and putting up with less than the ideal. For a long time, I assumed that I'd never be able to truly lose the weight I'd gained, lost, and regained over the years. Worse yet, I assumed that getting older had to be accompanied by slowing down, having less energy, and dealing with aching joints and constant soreness.
Don't let your life continue at less than its full capacity! At 43, I'm in the best shape I've ever been and continue to improve because of the nutritional counseling, group fitness classes, and personal training sessions offered at this studio. They've taught me the habits, mindsets, and skills to feel, look, and function at my best, for life.
The staff treat one another and their clients like family, which—fair warning—means you will be held accountable to the goals that you've set for yourself because they care about you and want the best for you. "Care" can be expressed a lot of different ways, too—don't assume that you won't work well with a personal trainer because you've had a bad experience elsewhere. Whether you want a trainer with drive, calm, kindness, humor... however you'd characterize it, there is someone at Push with the personality and approach that's suited to you.
The only people who shouldn't join Push Fitness are the ones who are satisfied on the slow track to fitness which, let's be honest, is a roller coaster at best and, more often, a slow retreat from the results you really want. I've been there—after losing significant amounts of weight four times over the last 16 years and regaining it every time (and then some), I've lost more than 40 pounds since joining Push just three months ago—almost 20% of my total body weight—while gaining muscle mass. This weight loss is different this time because I have the benefits of the Push team's expertise on my side.
When you're ready to put in the work it takes to regain and optimize your health, and if you recognize that expert guidance will multiply the outcomes from the time it takes to do the work, join Push. No other investment is ever going to yield better returns than those you put into to your well-being, and their prices are quite reasonable considering the results you'll see in a very short time frame.

It's difficult to heap enough praise on Josh and his trainers. With their help, I was able to lose 54 pounds in three months. If you trust them and put in the work (both at the gym and via the diet plan they set up for you), you will see incredible benefits over time. Not only is each trainer amazing at his/her job, they are also a lot of fun to be around, and that makes spending time at the gym all the easier. I look forward to continuing my work at PUSH as I maintain what I've already lost.

I never thought I would like to "train" in a gym, but Push Fitness has completely changed my mind and transformed my body! I had a great experience at Push fitness, it's a welcome change from the massive and over bearing gyms one usually encounters. Josh and his crew are very knowledgeable in what kind of exercises work for whom. My personal training sessions with Michelle were very good and any group class you get with Josh is a treat. He will push you like crazy but will ensure you get an amazing workout.
The group classes here are very different from the ones at other gyms, I've tried all the big ones before landing here. Instructors pay attention to individual form even in a group setting.
I highly recommend checking them out, it'll be hard to go back to any of the regular gyms afterwards.

I have been going to Push for over 3 months now, and I can't believe I didn't join sooner. My trainer is Mick, I gave him my goals, and he has created a personalized workout program directed at achieving them, he also will modify it if I tell him I want to work on a different goal. He helps me week after week to improve and get stronger. Mick also knows my limits, as well as what I am capable of, he will give me the push I need when he knows I can do more. I actually look forward to going to every session, as everyone who works there is extremely friendly and welcoming.

Push Fitness is an awesome studio. There are dozens of fitness places in the area, but this one stands out.
First, the vibe of the studio is great. It is *extremely* clean, but also well-designed -- open, bright, great color scheme and good music. Mick Viken has been my trainer for 6 months and he's fantastic. He's focused on what will work for me specifically, and my fitness improvement has been crazy. He genuinely wants to see me excel, and that helps during the tough sessions. I can't recommend him highly enough.
The owner, Josh Steckler, is warm and engaged, and all the trainers are great. Fitness clubs/studios can be intimidating places, but Push is welcoming. And you don't have to already be in shape to feel like you belong.
Seriously. It's worth trying this studio approach instead of a big box club. The prices are similar and the quality is much higher. They've got a lot of long-term clients for a reason.

I had been searching for a gym for several months. I started off at a few of the local chains and realized they weren’t for me. I needed more of a personalized approach, with obtainable goals and accountability. I went to Push Fitness and to see what they had to offer, and it was just what I was looking for! They had one on one programs for: weight loss, toning, strengthening, and conditioning, just to name a few. I was assigned to Mick, he asked me what I wanted to accomplish, provided me with a daily diary, caloric intake, sample food/food groups, and developed my training program, etc. I just started my 4th month and I feel great! I cannot say enough about Push Fitness. I started going to them about 3 years ago and they have literally saved my life. At 51, I have blood pressure under control, blood sugar is under control and I have never felt better, physically or mentally. Patrick knows me extremely well. He knows how to push me to my limits every time, but also knows when to back off (only a little bit). Great place for 1-1 and class sessions. Great trainers. Steve kept me on track and I've managed to lose over 70 pounds from when I started working with him and the Push Fitness team in March, 2017. I love Push! I'd recommend them to anyone who is serious about changing their lifestyle.The trainers there are all exceptionally passionate, driven and friendly in trying to get you to your goals. I work with Michelle and she pushes me way harder than I would ever be capable to go on my own, but she also is finely in tune with my limits. She never asks things of me that I cannot achieve and she is my biggest advocate.
Another bonus, every time you walk through the doors at Push, is you are greeted with smiles and hellos from the clients and trainers and you get a sense of community. They care and will keep you accountable and for me that was definitely a push I needed.

My experience at PUSH Fitness has been very positive. As a senior citizen with multiple joint replacements, I am delighted to have a trainer (Patrick) who understands my issues and continues to make me stronger every week. I have lost about 25 pounds since I started at PUSH, and with Patrick's support, I have kept the weight off.
Based on my experience at other gyms, I can say that PUSH Fitness is the best training studio in the area. They encourage you to be healthy and strong at every visit. I highly recommend their services.

I recently signed up for Group Fitness classes at Push Fitness in Schaumburg. After a few months of not exercising and being a little out of shape, I was reluctant to start back up. But Steve and Joshua make the classes fun and give you the push you need to to get the most out of your training.
With just a few classes, I already noticed a significant improvement in my endurance and have become more toned.

HEALTHY, FIT, and HAPPY! I always felt that my family maintained a healthy environment: eating vegetables from our own garden, exercising and being active. Somehow, I as the Mom, didn't follow through with the same requirements. As I aged, my inconsistencies caught up with my body. I also had shoulder surgery, which limited my exercise. This left me feeling depressed. I needed more than just an article telling me what to change. That is when I got PUSHED by Wade. I began a 3 month program, not only to look at being FIT, but also at being HEALTHY. As I became consistent with lifting and eating, I felt stronger and definitely HAPPIER.
Sounds like a great ending to a story, but not so after the 3 month contract was complete. HAPPY was slipping away as old unhealthy habits came back. I needed more than just the classes at the Y. So, Wade began again to instill motivation and to reestablish new habits. This time I'm staying at Push Fitness until I am sure it is my new habit! The cost is worth each workout, each personal detail to how I exercise, what I'm eating and how I'm thinking about my body. Wade is so aware of who I am and is confident in guiding me to my goals of remaining HEALTHY, FIT, and HAPPY. Thank you Push Fitness

My trainer, Steve Amsden, is the most genuine and dedicated personal trainer I have ever met. After working out with him for two years, I can truly say he's changed my life. As a current 23 year old who has done so many workouts from high school football days and working out in undergrad and now grad school, I was introduced to new exercises and more complex exercises working on more than one muscle at a time. Josh worked great with my overall range of motion and flexibility in my shoulders, hips, and hamstrings. There was good variety to every workout and only a few exercises like squats or deadlifts and DB chest press were repeated. They have a very friendly and knowledgeable staff that enjoys what they do for a living to help people achieve goals in overall weight and appearance, getting stronger, and more flexible. I came into Push Fitness partly because right now I am working on a research thesis for graduate school which involves the strength, conditioning, warm-up, stretching, and nutrition aspect of an athletes in regards to injury.

I retired 4 years ago after 35 years in a financial career. I had been active but was slightly out of shape and knew something had to change so I would physically enjoy my remaining years. I'm not motivated to work out at home and fortunately a friend gave me Josh Steckler's telephone number. I had never worked out with a personal trainer but felt at home and totally comfortable with Josh at Push Fitness from the start. Josh is an excellent and professional trainer, keeping me motivated and working toward my goals. He is very straight foward and always very positive. Has it been tough for me? Sure, but I always look forward to going to Push Fitness for training..

This is an incredible place to train! I have been working out at Push Fitness for 4 years and what has amazed me most is that I have never once repeated a workout routine. My experience there has been so different from every other gym program I have tried. Each session has variation so that your body stays challenged. The trainers at Push are dedicated to helping you achieve your goals no matter how specific they might be. I’ve been training for mountain climbing which can be a challenge living in Illinois, and Josh has helped me get into the best shape of my life so that I could climb with confidence. He has also given me an invaluable nutrition program that has helped me change my eating habits for life. This is without a doubt the best place for one-on-one personal training!

I have been going to Push Fitness for 8 months. I am seeing both Wade and Brodie as my personal trainers and they are fabulous. They both individualize my workouts each time and they know just how far to push me each session. They also incorporate a healthy eating lifestyle which helps with the workouts. I have lost 30 lbs. and feel better than I have in 40 years. If you are serious about losing weight and getting healthy there is no better place than Push Fitness. All of the trainers are as dedicated as Wade and Brodie and they always put the client first. You don't get that type of commitment at any gym.

Push Fitness Schaumburg is a great place to train and work out if you are serious about maximizing your Health and Nutrition. Josh Steckler has a very diverse group of trainers and will match the best trainer with your unique needs and personally. Josh is my trainer and he always brings variety to every session and has a true Passion for his Profession and helping his clients. They also push you to eat right. My favorite quote from one of their articles about nutrition is "The Food You Eat can either be the safest and most powerful form of Medicine or the slowest form of Poison" Dr. Ann Wigmore.
I would strongly recommend Push Fitness based on my results and observations

I have been training with Tony Figueroa for about 3 months now and I can't tell you how happy I am that I signed up with Push Fitness. When I first started with Push I was tired everyday, no motivation, and just not feeling myself because of the extra weight I was carrying around. Tony pushed me to my limit and has motivated me to better my eating and exercising lifestyle, and I just can't thank him enough. I am down 13 pounds in nearly 3 months, and I am signing up for another 3 months because I am so happy with the results that I am seeing. I would hands down recommend Tony and Push Fitness to anyone looking for that extra "push" to a better way of living. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

I joined Push Fitness almost 1 month ago to begin changing my life. I have always been a bigger dude and have never truly had good success with losing weight and becoming more healthy. From my first meeting with Tony, I was hooked. He sat down with me an explained the program and what to expect. He was honest and up front with me from the get go, which I greatly appreciated. I have been to other places that try to blow smoke up your butt and tell you that with their help I will lose a huge amount of weight, blah blah blah. Tony told me straight up this will be the hardest thing you have ever done, and I respected that. I joined immediatley after my initial consultation. The work outs are intense and you will be "Pushed" to your limits, but that is hat makes them great. It is not just the work outs that make this system work, but the fact thet the trainers take the time and show you what you should be eating, put a dietary suppliment guide together for you and truly hold you accountable. In addition if you dont see the results you want, they will change up the plan to be more aggressive or less aggressive depending on the situation. This is not your typical personal training facility. The trainers truly care about their clients and it shows, they want you to succeed and to me that is what is most important. I dont feel they are there just to do a job and collect a paycheck, but becuase they truly love what they do and truly love helping people change their lives! Tony is my trainer and I wouldn't have it any other way. He has helped me tremendously already in our short time together and I look forward to our sessions and seeing the end result. I would reccomend Push Fitness to any and everyone looking to lose weight and become healthier.
