Reclaim to this day is still my favorite gym I’ve ever worked out at. I was a member throughout highschool and college and never had any complaints. The staff are very respectful and everyone that goes there is super nice. Unfortunately I had to cancel my membership (of course after they just added saunas) because I moved away. Would totally recommend this gym to anyone that is new to fitness, the environment is very uplifting!

I travel for work and because of that, I've had quite a few gym memberships and have visited a number of facilities. This facility is definitely in my top 5. From the unbelievably friendly staff, to the cleanliness of the entire gym, along with the amazing set up and wide variety of gym equipment, this place has it all. I highly recommend it. This has been my HOME for 10 years! Love this gym! Great, friendly and welcoming environment. What makes this gym unique is the large turf area with smash balls, weighted balls, kettle bells, sleds, ropes, pull up bars. It’s a large area that allows for more creative work out options as opposed strictly weights and machines.

Be warned. They will continue to charge your credit card even after going in, talking directly to the owner Gary, and signing the necessary documents to cancel your account. I constantly have to dispute the charges as fraud, as any charge after the cancellation is not authorized.
UPDATE; I've spoken with a separate manager who confirmed my cancellation 6 months ago. I will update my review once it's actually processed correctly.

Have been going to this Reclaim location since early 2021. Have always loved coming here and never once have thought of switching gyms. The mokena location is closer to my house but I started off here in New Lenox and I love the layout and how easy it is to navigate. Gary also helps make it a super welcoming environment along with the rest of the staff who keep the place in great shape so we can too!

I’ve been going to Reclaim since October of 2023 and have enjoyed every minute of it. All of the members are extremely helpful when it comes to learning new things, and the staff is more than accommodating. Gary the manager does a fantastic job at keeping the establishment a warm, welcoming, and clean environment. I moved to the Joliet area 5 months ago and was looking for a new gym to train at. I found Reclaim fitness in New Lenox and I have to say this is one of the best gyms I’ve ever worked out at. Glen the manger was awesome and the members are very nice. The equipment they have there is top notch. I’ve trained at several gym over the years but this place has equipment you’d only see on instagram posts. Unfortunately I moved out of the area so I’m no longer there. I highly recommend this gym if anyone is looking for a great place to get into shape with a friendly atmosphere.

Just signed up for a membership at the New Lenox location. I believe his name was Kyle who had helped me was great. I usually don't have good experiences with gym staff who are usually younger kids looking to meet a quota. Kyle was very helpful setting up the apps on my phone and showing me how to navigate them. Would easily be a 5 star without these things. No one puts away the weights after they are done. You always have the one person that doesn’t put away the weights at every gym. But at this gym it’s the norm to just leave all of your weight on the bar and leave. And even worse if they do decide to put some of the weight back they don’t take the time to look and place it where it belongs. Which means looking for a 10 pound weight is like searching for a needle in a haystack. Once you do find it you have to take off all the weights in front of it to get to it. It’s a pain to have to go through every single set if you are working the weight up.

Like I said without everything above it’s a 5 star gym, absolutely love how clean the gym is and how it is 24/7. But the gym etiquette of the people who go here brings it down to a 3. Hopefully this can be resolved.

This has been my gym for years now. Staff has always been nice and treat the gym well. Everything you need is here. At the time of this review, there's 4 squat racks, a cross training area, a cardio area, an upstairs for core work, and other machines. This separates the cardio side from the weights side which makes the gym feel spaced out compared to other gyms that are cramped. More than enough cables and dumbbells to go around. They just added another leg press machine and a belt squat machine. This gym gives you everything you need at an affordable price, 24/7. Couldn't recommend more!

Most of the gear is pretty outdated. Most of the benches are wobbly and most of the pulley machines stick. The gym is usually much too crowded to comfortably get through a full workout. I would give less stars if the staff wasn’t so nice and they weren’t open 24/7.

Avoid this gym at all costs. They will make it next to impossible for you to cancel even if you tell them you are out of the state they need you to show up in perwon, requiring a notice and for you to pay months in advance. And then they will hire a company to try and attack your credit score over a $50 bill. Join a real gym.

Gary is the nicest most wonderful person my husband and I have ever met. He treated us like royalty when we went to check out the gym. He took the time to show us around, talk to us to get to know us, and we didn’t feel rushed or like he was too busy for us by any means, it was quite the contrary. The gym is doing a toy drive right now for Christmas and they do great things for the commujtyy and it just has a great family feel. The staff are professional, friendly and have clear communication skills. I seldom, if ever, had to wait for the use of a machine. The gym is clean and they provide cleaning spray for use.

My biggest problem (and reason I ended my membership after joining less than 6 weeks prior) was that the Covid protocols are horrid. The gym doesn't require a mask, which is left to the discretion of the owners. However, they do not enforce a 6' social distance if members choose to go maskless. So that sign on the door telling people to do so is more of an 'encouragement'. When you sign up with the gym, they make you sign a waiver that they are not responsible if you catch Covid. It is a private business and the owners absolutely have the right to set whatever standards they wish, but I'd rather go somewhere that enacts even the bare minimum levels of prevention.

Edit to Add: Thank you to the owners for reaching out. My incident involved a maskless member of the gym, who chose the machine next to mine despite a number of free machines. I immediately put on my own mask and politely asked them to do the same. They refused and gave the equivalent of "make me". I politely asked staff about the policy of social distancing / masking up if you're less than 6' apart and I was told that it was could not be enforced. Purification systems are wonderful and it's genuinely heartening to hear that the owners are dedicated to the welfare of their patrons. The chance for infection goes up immensely at distances less than 6', and as someone with parents that are older that's a deal-breaker.

I really like that ReClaim Fitness went 24 hours with the new owner. It is so much more convenient for me to go late in the evening. If I need to use the massage bed I can without finding someone to give me access. There are plenty of towels and spray to wipe machines down. The staff that I have talked with have been helpful. The overall cleanliness and lighting are great. Very positive improvements overall! My only complaint is still the same that I have had for several years. The music is TOO loud especially when the staff isn't there. Most people wear headphones but it is pounding over the audio on my headphones. My husband and I have asked many times in the past to turn it down so it is subtle background music. This is my time to focus and concentrate on myself. It is hard when I have that bass pounding in the background all time.

The gym itself is great. Wish there were more racks. Very young crowd, which can be annoying when there’s 26 kids huddled around machines and racks. Cancellation policy ridiculous. They can auto-bill you every month via their website, but for some odd reason you sure can't cancel online. This is such a great gym with such a friendly staff. Also very helpful when I had to put my membership on hold for when I was pregnant and was hospitalized for most of my pregnancy. I can’t wait to return and see how the daycare is.

I’ve been going to Reclaim since they opened and every time I enter Gary is so friendly and inviting. This gym is one that has fair pricing and a friendly staff. I would recommend this gym to anyone looking for a new place.

Reclaim is by far my favorite gym I've ever been a member of. Front desk staff is awesome and welcoming which is a good bonus to starting a workout. The gym itself is very clean and brightly lit (plenty of windows) which personally I like. All of the equipment is in good condition and it's very fairly priced (even with the child care package).

I've been going to the New Lenox loc and switched to the new Mokena loc which is so close to home. Great gym and staff! Love the Les Mills classes both live instructors and virtual!

I’ve been training at this gym from the first day it opened. The staff is great and the facility is always kept clean. I’ve even had the pleasure to work there for Gary and Ray back in my younger days and have nothing but good things to say about them. All in all, great people and a great place to conquer your fitness goals. Keep up the good work!
