Dr Isaac and staff are amazing! I’ve been an athlete and coach for all my life. I’m almost 50 and have struggled with hip & shoulder mobility for a very long time.
He has helped me with a pre-work out mobility plan and I’m learning how to modify exercises that I’ve been afraid of so they suit my body/mobility.
I’m actually excited to do these exercises now, and to continue to push myself!
He is Knowledgable, professional and fun to work with!

Resilience Gym and Dr. Ted deserve every bit of this 5-star review.

I came in with lower back pain, hip tightness, and some referred groin discomfort that had been bothering me for days. I honestly expected a quick adjustment and to be sent on my way, like most chiropractors do — but that’s not how Dr. Ted operates.

He took the time to actually evaluate me, explain what was happening in my body, and walk me through the real root cause instead of just chasing symptoms. He didn’t force a big “crack” for show — he gave me precise, gentle adjustments and then spent time correcting my lifting technique so I stop re-injuring myself in the future.

I walked out feeling noticeably better, lighter, and moving more freely. His approach is smart, thoughtful, and performance-based. You can tell immediately that he actually cares about long-term results, not quick fixes.

The gym itself is also one of the best environments I’ve been in — supportive coaches, clean facility, and a great community vibe.

If you’re dealing with pain, want to move better, or want a chiropractor who focuses on true functional results, go see Dr. Ted at Resilience Gym. I highly recommend both.

I’ve been a member of Resilient Spine and Performance for almost two years, and I can honestly say it’s one of the best gyms in the western suburbs! From day one, the welcoming atmosphere has made my fitness journey so enjoyable.
The staff is incredible—friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to help you reach your goals. Isaac and Riley, in particular, are outstanding instructors. Their passion for Olympic lifting and HIIT really shines through in every class. They create a supportive environment where everyone, from beginners to experienced lifters, feels comfortable pushing their limits.
What really stands out to me is how clean and well-maintained the gym is. It’s clear they take pride in providing a top-notch experience for their members. The equipment is always organized and in great condition, making it easy to focus on your workout without any distractions.
The sense of community here is fantastic. Everyone encourages each other, which makes for a fun and motivating environment. If you’re looking for a gym that has it all—excellent classes, amazing staff, and a sparkling clean space—look no further than Resilient Spine and Performance. I’m so glad I chose this place for my fitness journey!

Dr. D'Amico is so incredibly helpful and delivers results. He uses his deep knowledge about the body and fitness to guide you on a path to healing and feeling better. He explains it in a way that makes it easy to understand which is super helpful. He also really listens which is a rarity and is personable. I would recommend him to anyone I know.

Dr Riley is personable, knowledgeable and informative. She makes you feel comfortable from the moment you walk into the office. She uses her expertise to provide quality care while also developing an individualized treatment plan to help achieve correction. I love how she can combine proper chiropractic care with strength training in her gym, to help build up core strength, physical strength and body awareness to avoid future injuries.

Joining Force gym was the best decision I’ve made. It is managed and coached by chiropractors and they specialize in musculoskeletal and sports related injuries. All the staff here are incredibly friendly and extremely qualified. They know how to push you to the limit in the best way possible with your workouts. I injured my back years ago and at first was hesitant on joining because I wasn’t sure if I would be able to do certain exercises and keep up in class. With their classes there is always modifications and you still get a great workout. My back started giving me problems and Dr Isaac suggested I talk with Dr Ted who specializes in a technique called the McKenzie exercises. These set of exercises helped tremendously with my low backpain and sciatica to where I am able to do certain exercises that I couldn’t before. It has also helped in my day to day routine.

I came in with an annoying neck kink that persistent for 2 weeks. After just two sessions, I found significant relief. During the initial visit, Dr. Isaac not only conducted a thorough evaluation but also worked on my neck and upper back right away. It was reassuring to see that he genuinely cared about my pain instead of just sending me home after the screening, as many chiropractors do.

I am highly active and lift heavy weights. Unlike some doctors who immediately suggest quitting heavy lifting, Dr. Isaac took a different approach—he provided exercises to improve neck mobility and blood flow. If you believe in preventative medicine and healing through movement, Dr. Isaac will reinforce those beliefs and support your recovery as your doctor.

Originally started working with Dr Ted with the simple hope of getting to a manageable pain level. What I was in for was far more than what I could have expected, through a series of sessions was not only able to lower the pain level but completely extinguish it. Haven’t felt this good in 10 years, these guys have my full support and recommendation.

The team and facility are amazing!

The team:
For athletes there’s nothing worse than time on the shelf after an injury. I’ve worked personally with Dr. Isaac to help me through multiple injuries, such as general knee pain (hard tissue) and specific muscle strains (soft tissue). With his help and rehab programs, we’ve sped recovery time and return to full activity level in CrossFit, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and bodybuilding in days/weeks instead of weeks/months.

The facility:
The gym is what initially drew me to the facility as the equipment is excellent for cross fitters, bodybuilders and powerlifters. Lots of racks, platforms, boxes and bar variations (some I’d never seen before) to serve all of your training needs. Wide range of heavy (and light) barbells, dumbells and kettlebells along with exercise bands to serve all of your training and recovery goals. There are no useless machines wasting floor space (there are cables and machines, to be clear, just not the useless stuff). There is also ample space and “soft flooring” for rehab activities, jumping, pulling, boot camps, classes, etc.

Bonus: gym members make their own hours and can swipe in anytime as long as they turn off the lights when they’re done.

Bottom line: The gym is a welcome change from big box corporate gyms, and while as good as the gym is, the team is even better.

These guys are the real deal!!! I tweaked my back and tried to work through the issue on my own. After two weeks I made an appointment with Dr. Ted. We met for an hour and he was extremely thorough, and took the time to understand my injury and my overall physical health. He was interested in my long term goal, not just fixing my back.
After the exam, and getting me started with one simple exercise, he told me I should be much better in two days. We set up a follow up appointment for a few days later and he said he was confident this was the last time he would need to see me for my back pain. I was skeptical, but he was spot on! During my second appointment he focused on some exercises I can do to prevent my injury in the future. I wondered what the name meant, but they are truly interested in making their patients Resilient! And thanks to Dr. Ted, Dr. Isaac, Dr. Riley, and Elliott, I am more Resilient than I have been in decades! The environment they have created at Force Gym has been such a wonderful part of my day. They know all of the members by name, because they care so much!

I had the opportunity to work with Dr Ted today for knee pain that has been long-standing. He took extra time to explain the process and walked me through the treatment protocols. Within 1 hour of my appointment everything was sent to my email with links to the proper techniques. His approach is sound and very much based in research. While I want a quick fix and be able to bike long distances and run tomorrow I realize that fixing the issue and working towards a long term plan is what will keep me running for years to come. The set up is unique and makes sense… work with the doctors to help the pain, get out into the gym with a specific plan designed for you and when ready get into the beautiful gym and get stronger!!

I’ve been working with Dr. Riley for sometime now and I can’t believe how strong I am getting. I wasn’t sure I had it in me when I started at 67. But I told her my long term goal is to be the best shape of my life when I turn 70. I’ve got 1 1/2 years to go and I believe we will do it - together. Dr. Riley is so inspiring; and so excited for me each time I surpass a personal best. She’s the very best!!

Dr. Isaac Masters not only informed me of many misconceptions regarding flexibility vs mobility, he actively listened to my concerns and injuries, addressed them in his office , and then more importantly, took me into his gym area, Force Gym, that is attached to Resilient Spine and Performance. He demonstrated a FEW KEY exercises and had me perform them to ensure that I was performing them correctly so I could continue to heal and strengthen my problem areas on my own. He then went above and beyond and sent me a video of the exercises! I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Isaac Masters.

Such a positive experience with Dr. Riley and the whole staff. I had started as a client after injuring my back lifting. After the initial assessment, I was given a workout plan to continue to move with different bodyweight exercises as tolerated. The improvement I saw in a short amount of time was amazing.

I received daily follow-ups and check-ins on how I was progressing. Even though I was a patient of Riley, Dr. Ted saw me in the gym and went out of his way to check in

Their education is very strong but with the ability to speak in basic terms helped me understand the injury and what was going on. The community Dr. Isaac, Riley, and Ted have built was welcoming from day 1. Very appreciative of their work and support to get me back into my normal active lifestyle.

Dr. D'Amico is the best! He takes time to ensure he has covered and talked through all your concerns. Then works with you to build a comprehensive plan for recovery, health and well being. Working specifically on some muscle tears, he put me on a path to full recovery and back to full activity without restriction. I definitely recommend the practice!

Big shout out to the team at Resilient Spine & Performance, not only do they have a great facility but they are extremely knowledgeable trainers. As a CrossFit athlete, it's important to find a Chiropractor that can provide more than just a "band-aid". Dr. Ted took the time to adjust me and come up for the rehab of a nagging lower back injury and also gave me exercises to improve movement patterns and prevent future injuries. This is what more athletes need instead of a quick fix. If you are looking for knowledge, professionalism and improvement - do yourself a favor and see Dr. Ted.

I’m an avid pickleball player and through the years I struggled staying injury free through countless hours of dinking and drilling. Dr. Ted was able to develop a plan for me stay loose and mobile on and off the court. I’ve been to plenty of chiropractors who seemed to have a one size fits all approach and Dr. Ted’s methods were much more personalized. Will definitely be coming back!!!

I can't express enough how grateful I am for the incredible service and care I received from Dr. Ted and the team at Resilient Spine & Performance. I've been competing in the sport of CrossFit for over 12 years now and before seeing Dr. Ted, my inefficiencies with poor movement patterns were holding me back and limiting my range of motion which ultimately caused serious discomfort and unfortunately several injuries. However, after just a few sessions, Dr. Ted not only identified the root cause of my issues/inefficiencies but also provided targeted treatments and exercises that are significantly improving my mobility and overall performance. Thanks to Dr. Ted's expertise and personalized approach, I'm now able to move with a purpose, lift heavier, and push myself further in every workout. I highly recommend Resilient Spine & Performance to anyone looking to enhance their athletic performance and overall well-being.

Dr. Isaac and team are great. He has a unique approach to strength and recovery which I’ve never experienced before. He’s helped me considerably with my knee issues. With his help, I’m back on the softball field, golf course and in the gym. My wife has since taken the classes he offers and he’s even helped my daughter with sports strength and agility. I can’t say enough good things.

I tore my labrum (shoulder) and instead of choosing an ordinary physical therapy place that is within my network, I chose to have Dr. Isaac be my PT because I trusted his proven ability. After doing therapy, using the recovery methods he informed me about, and doing extra work at home with the exercises we do during session, my shoulder feels great and ready to dominate my competition.

Being an athlete and a professional, I only want to work with the best. Dr. Isaac’s approach is what you’re looking for if you are serious about getting better.

Went to Dr. Riley at Resilient, I’ve been dealing with a shoulder injury on and off for a few years now. Everyone suggested surgery because it’s was probably my “rotator cuff”, after doing an initial visit and full mobility check up, the conclusion was simply an issue with a tendon in my shoulder that instead of needing surgery all that was needed was to put my ego in check when weight lifting and focus on building the smaller muscles up to help take a load of the main shoulder doing over head presses. I trusted the process and after doing stretches with the band that I was sent home with and listening to Dr Riley in the matter of 2-3 weeks I have seen a massive improvement. The pain is gone, I have more mobility in my shoulder and slowly but surely getting back to 100%.

Dr. Riley is extremely professional and personable and make it very easy to trust in her judgment and knowledge to get you back to 100%.

Would highly recommend this office to friends and family looking for some help from Doctors that care and want to help.
