My nine-year-old daughter is on the competition team at Rise Up. We were at a different gym prior to moving to Rise Up, My daughter was not achieving all of her goals, due to poor coaching at our previous gym. Within two months the coaches at Rise Up turned my daughter around. She is a total different gymnast now I could never thank, Or say enough about Rise Up Academy For what they’ve helped my daughter achieve in such a small amount of time. Her confidence has improved 100%.

Won’t recommend this place. If you have to stop classes you have to tell 15 days prior which I did. My daughter has class every Friday and last week Friday they canceled class due to Labor Day weekend. When I asked for make up class they told me my account is closed now my daughters can’t do makeup class. They informed me Thursday. If they are cancel class they should inform 15 days prior too. I’m glad I stopped class for both my girls.

We stayed with this gym for 4 years. There were a couple of instances where the communication was not professional. We are in other sports organizations and have not experienced such a careless attitude towards kids. We had an issue with a payment due to delay in updating to a new credit card. The front desk did not manage the situation with my child and it was upsetting to her to the point that she does not want to go back. We finally decided this was the last straw and won’t go back. There are too many kids at the gym and classes are big that if your child gets upset they don’t notice and don’t care.

We have been coming here for almost a year now. We took few different gymnastics/tumbling classes through the year & she likes them all. They have many classes for different age groups in gymnastics, tumbling, trampolines, dance & taekwondo. The class sizes are pretty good. They also have competitive teams if you looking for more than just recreational classes. I see such improvement in everything she does. She loves this place. We came from a park district class where she learned absolutely nothing to doing proper rolls, bridge/back bend, handstand and other skills.
The price is very reasonable & you get discount for multiple classes. The coaches & stuff is very friendly, understanding & accommodating. They also offer summer camps.
Overall I like this place & I am happy with the choice we made - my only suggestion/dislike/comment is the main restroom - it needs a total makeover - other than that I have nothing bad to say about this place.
I recommend it to everyone :)

This is amazing place!The instructors are great, strict, committed and they really love to work with our kids. Sometime they can be hard on kids, but it is because they care and they want to teach them correct way of doing things. There are lots of things you can write online and a lot of things you can fake, but you can’t fake results. Rise Up Academy is The Best! I very highly recommend this place! I have been actively participating in classes since the very beginning when this place opened 5 years ago and I am always proud to say that I train there. They started with 50 students and one training facility and 5 years later there are probably more than 200 students and three training facilities! I have been reading the last reviews and some people were complaining about certain issues but every club or studio or gymnastics center has their good qualities and bad qualities. I find that there are more good than bad here at this place! I have been on their competitive team for 5 years and I absolutely love the support that is given towards competitive team members. I love going to the competitions and showing the other studios what we are capable of! I am so proud to see what this place has become! RISE UP IS THE BEST AND REMEMBER.......THE SKY IS THE LIMIT!!!!!!!!

My daughter has been part of Rise Up competitive team from the very beginning. Being on any team with Rise Up requires quite a bit of commitment, but the feeling of belonging, the feeling of doing what’s best for your kid and the pure joy you see in those eyes when she archives a goal or wins first place at a competition, makes everything so so worth it. The instructors are amazing, strict, committed and they really love those kids. They’ve proven that time and time again. Yes, they can be hard on them and at times, uncompromising, but it is because they truly care, and there is nothing better than that. We have been with Rise Up Academy for several years now and have nothing but good things to say about the club and the coaches. I love this gym especially for tumbling. There's a good coach to student ratio and their coaching is exceptional. They have thee trampolines, a tumble track, very nice gymnastics equipment, rod floor and a spring floor. Their staff is super friendly and nice. They make it easy to pick up on new skills! I really really really recommend this gym.

I'm reading the previous review and I can't believe my eyes. The front desk lady is the nicest person you can ever meet. Always trying to help everybody, always friendly and accommodating. Me and both my sisters take classes at Rise Up and she is like a second mom to us and the academy is like our second home.

Don't bother! Many other places with much better treatment, front desk lady seems to hate her job. Coaches are good, but need more experience dealing with small children, not all only one in particular. Only did three sessions and had enough.
