We were at your skating rink today with a big company, the employee kicked out for taking pictures, that it is not safe, although when I was taking pictures there was no turnover, we did not interfere with anyone! Thank you spoiled the day, although they could have done with a warning, at the entrance no one told about such important rules, I did not sign any papers, and here I received today such a disgusting review, at the request to return the money, they returned me to the ice, but these were very unpleasant, I would have been happy to leave if I came only with my children, I will not come here again, believe me there is a better attitude and ice, and workers, Staff in a red jacket separately hello! Another moment were people who lifted their children and skate! And where is safety in this case? I do not understand, for taking pictures so rudely kicked out is beyond rudeness!

Ice rink is nice but the skates leave a lot to be desired. My skates had zero edge and wouldn't allow me to turn at all. Plus they do not spray the shoes between users. They ask you to tuck in the laces and immediately place them back on the shelves.

This review is for the ice rink complex. There is a full sheet here. The locker rooms are upstairs and you have to go up and down in full gear which can be challenging for little ones and goalies. Bring a blanket or a heated vest. No food or bar here. If you're going to watch live barn from here just know you cannot see the score board nor is it superimposed on the screen.

The ice rink needs some work. Locker rooms for the ice rink are upstairs and in need of a face lift. Not the most pleasant experience walking down in full gear. No bathrooms or showers in the small locker rooms. The ice is just okay.

I showed up 10 minutes after free skate and there were patches everywhere with no ice, do they not put new ice on before free skate? Felt like I was skating over piles of twigs. Then I realized they gave me the wrong size skate when my feet were hurting. When I asked about getting the right size they said they didnt have it. I asked if I could get a refund the n and they refused. 12 bucks to skate on a patchy rink with Cinderella skates.....I wont be coming here again.

First day of gymnastics class, raining doors were locked and my daughter was crying. Walked all the way around the building and back to where we started, only to have the kid have to unlock the door we passed twice.

Skating classes, horrible. If your child is NOT one of the top skaters in the group, forget that the teacher will pay any attention to her or him (at least the 2 of them who were assign to my son's group). I tried to talk to the them but it didn't help for too long. I watch them closely today, I could see what my son should be told to improve his moves but he hasn't been spoken to even once. Look for alternative.

Can't say I'll come back to this rink. Was in the area for an event and thought I'd come practice. Lessons were happening so no open ice in the middle of the rink and overpopulated ice. So basically you could go in a circle and that's all. Locker rooms really far away and rink is old and small. Not worth $8 when other park districts in the burbs charge the same and have way better ice and facilities. Okay if you want to leave your kids to flounder around for an hour, I guess, but worthless for anything else. Instructor stood with students in middle and just chatted for 20 minutes.

If your looking for a place to have a birthday party or just to hang out and have fun? Then Rolling Meadows Park District is a place for you. When I walked in I already saw The little kids running around with their bathing suits and the teens talking about how much they love this place. There was a swimming pool, gymnastics place and a skating arena, and that's only the things I saw.

It's old and tired.
We tried the developmental Swim Team last summer and I was very disappointed. The coaching staff had lost their Aquatics Director and a coach. As a result there was very little individualized instruction. Kids went to swim meets knowing they had little chance of winning.
On the flip side it was good exercise and the coaches did their best to make it fun for the kids.

This review is for the ice rink. 1. Ice is ok. Not the best. Not the worst. It's all downhill from here though. 2. Locker rooms are upstairs, with no attached bathroom. Small and cramped, and I'm pretty sure the only hockey rink I've ever played in that didn't have a bathroom/ showers and I've played all over the place. 3. In order to shower, you have to walk all the way across the building to the pool shower/ locker room where there's 1 that's right, 1 shower available for use. We had 2 teams of hockey players trying to use 1 shower head...
