Such a waste of time and money. They charge as an elite studio and train as a recreational program. Since we moved to a new studio I can definitely see the difference in growth for my daughter.

Royal Academy has been an outstanding place for my child’s gymnastics and tumbling training. From the moment we walked through the doors, we were impressed by the professionalism and welcoming atmosphere of the entire facility. The staff is not only knowledgeable but truly passionate about what they do. They create a nurturing yet challenging environment that encourages kids to do their best and have fun while learning. The coaches are attentive, energetic, and great at connecting with young athletes. We’ve seen tremendous growth in our child’s skills, confidence, and love for the sport since joining Royal Academy. The classes are well-structured, safe, and tailored to different skill levels, ensuring each child gets the attention and instruction they need to succeed. We’re so grateful to be part of the Royal Academy family and would highly recommend it to any parent looking for a top-tier gymnastics, tumbling, cheer, ect. programs that combines expert coaching with a positive and inspiring environment.

My kids love Royal Academy and all of the coaches there. We've been at Royal since 2022 and this is our second year in competitive team. My kids have grown both physically and mentally with all of the help from the coaches and the owner, Mrs. Bea.

I absolutely love this place! Both of my girls attend Royal Academy, and we couldn’t be happier. The community here is so welcoming—no drama, just lots of support and great energy.
My older daughter takes Hip Hop with Mrs. B, and we adore her. Her lessons are always creative, and the choreography is fantastic. My younger one is part of the Acro and Tumbling team with Coach Marcus, who is truly exceptional. Everyone loves him, and I’ve seen such amazing progress since she joined the team last year.
We also really like Coach Josh, who recently started a new mini cheerleading group. The girls are picking up the routines so quickly, and it’s exciting to watch their confidence grow.
Overall, Royal Academy is a wonderful place with excellent teachers and coaches. The atmosphere is uplifting, the achievements speak for themselves—and even though we drive 30 minutes each way, four times a week, it’s absolutely worth it!

Hard to find the combination of fantastic training and family-like environment. Love the teachers and it's easy to park in their lot. Check it out for the serious dancer to the casual dance enthusiast.

My daughter started training for USGA gymnastics 6 years ago but left the sport after 4 years as a result of its toxic coaching practices that we experienced at two separate gyms in the Chicagoland area.
Even though she left gymnastics she decided to follow her Tumbling Coach, Marcus Williams, to Royal Academy so she could continue training and competing competitively in USTA for power tumbling and double mini. Marcus was the only Coach my daughter had ever worked with, prior to going to Royal, that did not use any toxic coaching techniques she’d previously been exposed to and it was obvious to us that he truly cared about his athletes well being, both physically and mentally.
Getting to continue to train under Marcus wasn’t the only added bonus we got by coming over to Royal. Everything about the gym, from its feel and look to its owners and the staff is a breath of fresh air compared to what we’ve experienced at other gyms over the years. The facility is always clean and if the athletes need something to train with the owner, Ms. Bea, gets it right away. Her athletes ability to train safely is of the utmost importance to her! The staff is incredibly helpful & friendly. They make themselves available all the time, even during off hours to help anyway they can. The gym also has a zone tolerance policy for any form of bullying or disrespect towards any other athletes or the Coaching staff. The culture within the gym is extremely positive and feels more like a family.
We already knew we loved having our daughter train with Marcus because of what a great Coach he is but coming over and finding a gym that checked all the boxes that so many others failed to was an huge extra bonus. We are so happy we found Royal Academy and sincerely cannot recommend it enough!

A wonderful studio for dance, tumbling and gymnastics… (I know they offer more classes even for adults that my daughter isn’t in). But my daughter loves her dance and tumbling coaches and loves being a part of this dance family!! There’s so many dance teachers that are full of positive energy, years of experience and they form VERY effective relationships with the students. She has FUN while growing as a dancer. Just from August to October, she’s improved in countless skills it is wild. She comes home excited and happy because she’s learned something new, adding to her self-esteem.
Owned by a young woman, who takes everything to another level with class and dedication. You can see it in the appearance of the studio and how she runs it. It’s a beautiful place, where you can feel good and welcomed, excited and happy. You can tell the studio is an extension of her entire being. Highly recommend!
