Every summer when my family and I come back to Island Lake, one of the first things we do is head to Snap Fitness. It honestly feels like coming home. Jamie, Loreli, and the entire staff are just incredible—so friendly, welcoming, and always quick to get us set up in the system so we can jump right back into our routine without missing a beat.
What I love most about this place is how clean and well-kept everything always is. The equipment is up to date, the gym is spotless, and I genuinely feel safe and comfortable every time I walk in. It’s not just a gym—it’s a space that makes you feel cared for.
The pricing is also super reasonable for everything they offer, and whether you’re brand new to working out or someone who trains regularly, this gym has it all. The atmosphere is supportive, never intimidating, and the staff go above and beyond to make sure everyone feels seen and valued.
Thank you to Jamie, Loreli, and the whole Island Lake Snap Fitness team for always making us feel so welcome year after year. We absolutely love it here and can’t recommend it enough!

Awesome gym for the price. It’s not packed when I go and I get all my workouts in without having to wait on machines.

Really clean facility with premium machines in the small space they have. Early in the morning it isn't crowded at all and it is very easy to use the equipment you need. I see the other gym goers as another positive. People go there to get their work out done and get to work. No sitting on machines diddling on their cells like at other gyms.

The atmosphere is upbeat and there is equipment available. The app shows the “crowd meter” for any given time. The express room and hydro bed massage are great! The staff is friendly and helpful.

I've been a member of many gyms and this one is by far my all around favorite. Clean with a lot of different machines and pieces of equipment. The Monday/ Thursday classes are really fun and the staff is all great.

I called and left a message in November to cancel my membership since there is no Snap Fitness near my new residence. No response. I called several times in December, and again in January, February and now March, leaving multiple messages for the owner Renee to cancel my membership but still no response, yet they continued to withdraw $34.98 for my monthly dues. Now I've had to pay the bank a $30 fee to stop the automatic monthly charges just to cancel my membership. This is very disheartening and unprofessional to have to go through these costs and extreme measures just to cancel my membership.

The staff is awesome, the members are great and very positive/supportive. Very welcoming for new members and people that have just started there getting fit career. Gym size is not to big and not to small. Alot better then most gyms I have been to at a very reasonable price. Thanks snap keep up the great work!
