I went from years of a sedentary lifestyle, working out less than 1xmonth, to taking over 50 solidcore classes, majority of which were at the Boystown location. You get what is advertised; a high-intensity, low impact workout. The classes are challenging, but doable with a range of options for beginners and advanced clients. The coaches are knowledgeable; even in full classes, coaches correct and pay close attention to form. Coaches are kind, they are excellent at challenging you while also encouraging proper form and tempo. There are a wide range of times making it easy pick up classes throughout the week. In my experience at this studio specifically and with solidcore in general, they really try to promote an inclusive environment where you are encouraged equally regardless of what you look like compared to the person next to you in the class. It's truly a great place and I'd recommend this studio to anyone looking for a high-intensity, low impact workout.

Martina is genuinely such a ray of light and kindness. She makes everyone feel welcomed and encourages modifications and safe movement. She always remembers me and my friend and checks in with us.

a fan of the concept, however, include proper neighborhood interaction (i.e. not antagonizing neighbors and their dogs) as part of your welcoming package for your members, as many of them were caught harassing the only individual on the block walking their dog across the street as they came out of your class around 5:58-6 am.

I just started with Solidcore and I am OBSESSED! I've taken 5 classes so far and every instructor has been great at this location! Big shout outs though Trevor and Jaimie; music, direction and especially energy were so on point with these two!! What I really love about Solidcore classes in general are not only are they a phenomenal workouts, but the coaching style is also very motivating. I HIGHLY recommend taking a class, even just to test it out. What have you got to loose?!

I took class with Olivia.M and it was awesome!! When I arrived for my class the previous classes instructor was at the front desk to greet new clients and answer questions. The front lobby was a bit cramped so people coming in will have to compete for space to access the lockers before class.

The music in the lobby and inside the class was vibrant and really matched that pace and energy of the class. The instructor took attendance and showed 2 moves before class which is always helpful.

The only critiques I have is that no one asked about comfort with hands inc corrections or any existing injuries. It also would have been nice to have more amplifications offered( like one arm elevated V up)

Overall it was a really great experience and I’d highly recommend checking out coach Olivias class if you’re looking for a tough, but fun workout!

Side note:Parking was easy for me, but I went in the morning when there was really no one parked on the street.

Great workout. It takes a bit of getting used to because the class is fast paced and the music is loud, the first class I felt very lost but after a few classes I caught on and love it

5 stars for the majority of the coaches there! I’ve always gotten solid workouts everytime I went. Fav coach so far is definitely Trevor! The most bang for your buck with his classes. His instructions are the most organized and the modifications are insane. Your body will thank you later!

LOVE this Solidcore location. The studio is so clean and BIG compared to the other city locations. They’ve done an awesome job with social distancing since reopening, and their instructors are the best. I love Ashantis and Conor!

Prepare to be humbled by the end of class. Each class I’ve been too has been so challenging but achievable. Katie does a tremendous job to get to know you before class begins and provides alternatives or moderations for moves if you have injuries or struggle. But that doesn’t mean she won’t push you to til the end.
The whole staff is accommodating and the studio is kept clean between each class which is so appreciated during these times.

What a great addition to the neighborhood. I’ve been going to this studio for over a year and have always had a positive experience. The trainers are friendly, the facility is clean and the class is the most effective workout I have ever done. It’s challenging however, so rewarding. I used to go to the gym about 3-5 times a week however, now just take 2 solidcore classes a week and I have seen way more results. My body is more toned and I feel a lot stronger.
It’s tough but I believe anyone can take this class. I’m not the most flexible person and never had any Pilates experience prior to [solidcore] but the trainers are great a guiding you and motivating you through class to make sure you do your best and make the most out of each class. Definitely recommend.

Took my first class with Trevor and it was great. Challenging but in a good way! The class is given on a reformer machine and really works every part of your body. You will be sore and strong after taking these classes.

Solidcore is the best workout when I do not want to do cardio! Truly of any strength based classes I take, Solidcore is the only one that actually makes me sore. I always leave feeling strong! Studios are small and cute, love the Boystown location.

I gave this place a try after my gym shut down and hasn't opened yet, and I must say I'm very impressed! The studio is clean, and for extra precautions, you can also wipe down the studio equipment too for an extra fresh machine! NO GERMS! Temperature checks are required to enter the gym. The face mask is worn during the work out which isn't bad because solid core is a low-intensity workout but has a high impact for my body because I was sore in a thank you for working out kind of way! Now, as for the work out itself, it's excellent! I had a little sweat going on. My muscles are sore. The class is about an hour. Too short if you ask me, and the music is bopping very energetic to get you in the mood to burn some calories. Trevor is by far a fantastic instructor; they were energetic and motivating, and I understood everything he said because sometimes it's tough to hear an instructor when they are teaching a class! Thanks, Trevor!

Wow!! So I took this class last week and OMG!! My core was so sore in a great way! I never had a workout like this before!! So of course I had to book another class because I loved how I felt afterwards. The feeling like I actually did something right for my body and soul. The trainer Chad was fantastic and so patient with me knowing I was trying to keep up. The class is intense but not in the intimidating way. I booked another class and can’t wait to come back sore but rejuvenated!! Great job Solidcore! Your name suits this workout!!

Are you ready to have one of the most intense, but rewarding workouts of your life?! I'm a huge group fitness junkie & never before have I experienced such a work out like this. Solidcore challenges you in more ways than one. All the coaches are amazing and extremely encouraging! Once you start going to solidcore you can't stop. Highly recommend, it's fun, the music is amazing and you will get your moneys worth.

This was my second class with Katie and she puts you to work. We got a nice active stretch in and then started to fire up our core, immediately I was sweating bullets. I love the slow deliberate workout, it helps me get toned and my body recovers much faster. I’ll be back soon. Also, great location, as I live just north on Sheridan.

I’ve been coming to [solidcore] for about a year and a half now. Every time before class I’m dreading going, during class I want to leave....but after? After I feel like the [STRONGEST] version of myself that leaves me craving for more and keeps me coming back.

*With COVID going on I feel super safe attending class. Everything is wiped down (by you) before and after class. Temp is taken as you walk in as is required hand washing/sanitizer. Plus spaced out, blocked off and flipped machines to provide social distancing and masks strictly enforced

Tried my first class about a week ago. Fantastic. Holy abs. I can’t believe how much more effective the Pilates equipment is at targeting my core compares to regular floor exercises. My abs were on fire for two days after. This is definitely the best workout if you are looking to target your core. Bring on the six pack!
