This gym is AMAZING!!! Once you walk in the building you become part of the most positive energy you can find. Everyone comes together to ensure the best results. The workouts are just part of what you get when you come here. Positive vibes, motivation, an easy to use meal plan (worth the money alone!) and online support are all top notch.
If you are looking for a new start on your health or to just get back in the game.. SKT will not disappoint!

I wanted to kick start my summer off with a fitness challenge. After doing some research, I discovered that Southside Knockout Training Orland Park was sponsoring a 6 week challenge. I singed up on-line and met with Ryan (owner) and his amazing staff. Ryan and his team welcomed me with open arms and gave me the confidence and motivation to reach my goals.

SKT isn’t just a gym — it’s basically a second family, if your family constantly pushed you to do one more rep and still loved you when you collapsed on the floor.

The trainers here actually care about you as a person, not just a before-and-after photo. Paige and Ryan, the owners, have built a place that’s not only about getting healthier but about lifting up the whole community. They’re constantly finding ways to give back and support those in need — not for attention, but because that’s just who they are.

Special shoutout to Derrick, who has more energy than a toddler on espresso. He somehow manages to hype you up, fix your form, and still crack jokes while you’re gasping for air. It’s impressive. Slightly terrifying, but impressive.

The HIIT workouts change daily, so your muscles (and your excuses) never get too comfortable. You’ll leave sore, happy, and wondering why you voluntarily paid to be this tired.

If you want a place that’s tough, real, and way more fun than it has any right to be — SKT is it.

SKT is so much more than a gym. It is family. Words can’t express how much I appreciate the owners and the trainers at this gym. It has been life changing for me. Traditional gyms did not work for me. I even had weights at my house and never worked out consistently. When you work out at SKT you have a whole support system to both motivate you and challenge you. I have met life long friends at this gym. The work outs are challenging and different each day. They help you with nutrition. They even helped me to modify and adjust my work outs after I had a major knee injury. Rather than just sit back and feel sorry for myself they helped me push through and still reach my goals. 5 stars are not enough when referring to this gym. It has change my life for the better in more ways than I could have imagined!

SKT is a great place to work out. Iv’e been here since they opened, almost 8 years. The workout formats always vary so you don’t get bored plus they are a great combination of cardio and weights. There isn’t one exercise that can’t be modified so you can always get a good workout based on your ability. The members and staff are so nice and it’s truly a no judgement zone!!!

This gym is phenomenal. I've been to a lot of gyms throughout these years and I never got any results like I have gotten this past year from SKT. The family like environment, encouragement, motivation, accountability, and vision this place has is amazing. It feels like home when I come in. No matter what type of day I am having I can say I leave there energized and a brand new person everytime. When you walk in the first person you see and are greeted by is Ryan. He takes the time to come out of his office to speak to every person and gives them a high five or fist bump. He is the only gym manager I know that is there everyday and stays there through all the classes and P.T. sessions and checks in with everyone. There is always a challenge everyday and transformation program going on. This motivates you to set more goals and become better and stronger. Everyday I see a member joining. While that's going on, you have Derick calling your name from a distance saying you made it and greeting you when you enter the gym room with all the equipment laid out and ready to go. Training with Derick has been a blessing and life-changing experience for me throughout these years. No bad days! They have an awesome coaching team. I love to see it when they workout with us also. They are always checking on us to make sure we are following directions and our form is correct
None of the workouts are predictable. You don't know what to expect, except the fact you will get a great sweat and calorie burner. We also workout in partners which is another unique part of this gym. It's great to have someone else to push, support, and challenge you. You never feel alone here. You start and finish together as a team cheering and finishing with fist bumps to end the workout. If you want true transformation and a life-changing experience with your health and wellness I would come here.

Southside Knockout is more than a gym, it’s a COMMUNITY that motivates you to achieve real results! I never thought I would be saying this but I genuinely look forward to 6AM workouts because they kickstart my day in the best way possible. The trainers are to die for… especially Derrick, who pushes you while keeping the energy high and the vibes SUPER positive!!!

Things I love about SKT:
1. The HIIT classes are always changing, so boredom is never an option.
2. The partner-style workouts: hello new friends and motivation.
3. No matter your age or fitness level, this place makes you feel like you belong and that you’re crushing your goals.
4. There’s always a fun engaging raffle, themed weeks, fundraisers, and more.

Love this place!! It is a place you can go and focus on your physical and mental health. When you walk in you are immediately greeted by supporting members and coaches. There are always fun competitions to help with accountability. Consistency is key! If you keep showing up you will see results!

Claimed that they were gonna give me a free class pass/ workout session but when I came in all they did was show me a slideshow on a laptop and tried to sell me on a membership without even letting me try the workouts or anything and way over priced. Misleading advertisement very disappointed they wasted my time.

So I contemplated writing this review for a while.. but thought I share my experience. Joined here for a 6 week challenge March/April 2021. . The people that work out there are great super friendly the workouts get you sweating. However, shortly after saying Id sign up for the year my stepdaughter moved in with us full time and my fiancé works 13 hour shift, so there was no openings for me to head to the gym since I had her all the time now.. I contacted Paige and let her know I won’t be able to continue due to scheduling and I requested a refund and they refused. You sign no papers yet they can refuse you to cancel services.. Out over a thousand dollars for going maybe 5 times in that years time.. real shame..

Joined here for a challange Sept 2019. Before I could start I was diagnosed with heel spurs and was told to stay off my feet as much as possible then covid hit. I contacted the company to see if I could start my challange now that I'm vaccinated and things are calming down and they refused. I requested a refund and they refused. Even offered a doctors note and they refused. Would not reccomend

When I was coming to sign they were reaching out almost every hour to make sure I’d come ever since I signed up I haven’t received any feedback I was supposed to have a trainer they didn’t set up anything but continuously take money I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone
