Deepen your understanding of Pilates with our highly skilled and caring instructors. Swan Dive’s 4000 sq ft, fully equipped contemporary Pilates studio is located on Commercial Ave in Northbrook and has been serving the Northbrook and surrounding communities since 2006. I love Swan Dive Pilates! All of the instructors are so incredibly knowledgeable. Each class, the instructor asks what (if anything) is of concern regarding my body; any ailments or injuries, etc so as to know how best to direct my session. They give gentle corrections as needed throughout the session. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming - its a great environment - lots of positive energy and there is no judgement. Scheduling is easy and there are classes offered at various times a day which make it very convenient for me to find the right fit. I have found “my place” and Im so happy! Thank you Wendy and the entire Swan Dive staff!

I highly recommend Swan Dive Center. I’ve been going for several months now and I love it there. I did Pilates previously but I sort of had a love hate relationship with it meaning I didn’t really like it but knew it was good for me. When I started going to Swan Dive that changed completely. I love the small class sizes (no more than 5 people) because you get individual attention which makes a big difference. They look at proper technique and if you need modifications. The instructors are excellent. Everyone is very friendly. And the studio is really nice and calming. They have 1 room for privates and 1 room for classes so you if you want 1-on-1, they offer that too!

I can’t say enough good things about Swan Dive Pilates! From the moment I walked through the door, I knew I had found something special. The studio has such a warm, welcoming energy—it's not just a place to work out, but a true community where everyone is encouraged to grow together. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely care about helping you improve your practice, no matter your level.
The space itself is beautiful and thoughtfully designed, creating a calm and inspiring environment to focus on movement. This is an absolutely wonderful studio! I had a little reformer experience before coming here, so I was intrigued. After a few “practice” sessions, I joined immediately. It was easy to do so, and the price is incredible!!
You can opt for personal sessions or classes. The maximum number of students for each class is limited to 5, and a few times there have been only 2 of us. But you really will receive personal attention, regardless of how many there are in a class.
There are MANY class options to choose, with a variety of times and levels. I have taken classes from a few instructors
, and they all give personal attention, are highly qualified, and encouraging.
I’m 77, and participate in
other exercises, both aerobic snd non-aerobic. Pilates, however, targets specific physical areas, and challenges me, like no other exercise.
One bonus is that the studio is conveniently located, with plenty of parking. I think once you see the studio and meet the instructors, you will love it too.
It’s low key, friendly, and oh so beneficial. And, no, I’m not getting paid for this review. I just think that Swan Dive should get all the kudos they deserve.

This is my first experience with Pilates and it has been very positive. Particularly impressive is their culture of listening to their students, adjusting the training process to your needs and limitations, friendly atmosphere. I started Pilates about three months ago and see the progress. Highly recommended.

I have never had such individualized attention in any of my prior training sessions at other training facilities over the past 20 years. The time spent in evaluating my physical abilities prior to the start of my regular Pilates training sessions has proven to be invaluable. I feel re-energized as soon as each training session is complete. Swan Dive is the real deal and worth every penny!

Being a Pilates beginner, I did years of researches before landing on Swan Dive Center to start my Pilates journey. I suffered degenerative disc on my lower back and did physical therapies in the hospital in the past two years. I learned from my doctor that Pilates is very effective in correcting tilted pelvic and relieve lower back pain. So I started my research and checked almost every reviews below each studios I can search for in my living area. The reason I chose Swan Dive is first Wendy explained very well for every questions I asked when we first met in her studio, and her studio has been opened for very long time, which is trustworthy. Second is I like her group class size very much, not too big, not too crowed, just right size for me. I care class size very much. If it is too big, it will let you no chance to talk with the trainer and no one will see your forms is right or wrong, which will lead you to do a wrong form and hurt yourself. Small size of group class allows me to see trainer very clear and the trainer can see me very clear as well. For me, Pilates adds a little bit of challenge on my daily exercise routine, which is what I wanted. Those forms under direction really exercised my deep muscle around my pelvic, abs and ribs combined with right inhale and exhale breath, and works right on my pain area, which
I cannot archive it from daily running and following on you-tubers alone.I think this is the most magic part of Pilates. The group classes I jointed later were very good as well in resolving my pain issues. Each Trainer has her own style to train you and you won't be bored on each class. I highly recommend Swan Dive to everyone wants to relieve body pain and correct bad postures or just want to pursue an overall body wellness.

I decided to check out Pilates with hopes of improving my core strength and improving my flexibility. Found Swan Dive Center and sent a message for more information. Wendy (the owner) got back to me quickly and set up a meeting to discuss my options. Wendy was very informative and friendly and I signed up for introductory 3 private sessions. I went once a week for 3 weeks and my instructors were Elena and Karen. Both were very knowledgeable and kept the workouts challenging and busy for the entire 55 minutes.
I’ve decided to join Swan Dive and continue with private weekly sessions & eventually group work outs. The equipment is all very well maintained and clean, everyone is friendly and clearly happy to be there. So far I don’t think I could have found a better Pilates studio to learn and workout at.

After doing some research, I noted that Sean Dive Pilates in Northbrook had excellent reviews. I have some postural issues, and am very concerned with whom I work with. Although a financial stress, I signed up for a lesson with Karli. I have now paid through the entire year as I feel this is so helpful for my well-being and body. The staff has been very warm and inviting, the facility is super clean, and Karli has been very knowledgeable, patient, and runs our sessions to my needs and capabilities. I would recommend Swan Dive to everyone!

Fantastic studio and instructor. I had never tried Pilates before but found Swan Dive online and decided to try private lessons since it was near my home. Susie was amazing - she was very clear in teaching me the foundations of Pilates and the purpose of each move, and each session has gotten progressively more challenging. At this point I’m absolutely addicted and go twice a week!

Swan dive is perfection for Pilates. The studio is well spaced out and always spotlessly clean. They have several separate rooms with reformers, cadillacs and various other equipment. The teachers are top notch in every way. I’m so happy that I use Swan Dive for my Pilates studio.

I’ve been working with Wendy for 7 years. She helped me build strength, balance, and proper movement. My plantar fasciitis left me for good! Then my chronic neck pain got much better. Wonderful experience at the studio. I worked with Kristin. She was great! Very attentive took time to understand my needs and goals. My hip pain was gone after one session! The studio itself is well laid out and has all the equipment you need . Do not hesitate to stop in and give it a try no matter what you fitness level!

I found Swan Dive a little over a year ago and have been hooked ever since. Each instructor will take the time to get to know you, to customize exercises and workouts to fit your needs...even in the classes! They listen, care and are so knowledgeable. I have been working with the team at Swan Dive since they opened. As an injury-prone runner, I appreciate their willing to listen and customize my workouts to help keep my core strong and the injuries away! These ladies are so knowledgeable about Pilates, wellness and beyond. They want to get you and your body to a happy, balanced and strong place.
I now live in the city but make the commute for a massage at least once a month. I have been to many spas & fitness clubs in the city for massage and no one compares! The massage therapists are fantastic and again customize for you!
For massage and Pilates, there is nothing like Swan Dive! 5 stars each!

Swan Dive offers a warm and inviting atmosphere while educating you on the benefits of Pilates and exercise in general. I opted for shared lessons with a girlfriend. Julie was our instructor. While teaching our bodies to stretch and tone, we had fun and the time passed enjoyably. I highly recommend Swan Dive to anyone looking to improve their flexibility, tone and well being!!
