Stephan has been an excellent partner in helping me improve my fitness and overall health. I’ve been working with him for about seven months, and the difference has been significant. Before training with him, I’d go to the gym but didn’t get nearly as much out of my workouts. Stephan makes every hour count, designing sessions that efficiently combine strength, core, cardio, and mobility—often within the same movements.

He also takes detailed notes on each workout, which makes it easy to track progress over time. Plus, he’s great at adjusting workouts if you’re dealing with any injuries or limitations. Since I started working with Stephan, my functional strength has improved dramatically. I highly recommend him!

Working with Stephan and his TA4 System has been a life changer. That may sound like an overstatement but it is not. I was feeling really discouraged by how stiff and old I was feeling at at age 53. As a former D1 college athlete, feeling the physical decline of my body was depressing. Since being on Stephans program I am no longer stiff when I wake up. I feel stronger and my balance and overall feelings of well-being has been a complete 180. Stephen is so knowledgeable and I appreciate that he focusses on things like "wrist and ankle health."

What a luxury to say you have a personal trainer. I am at the three month, once a week, one hour session period. Trainer Stephan has progressively increased my weights and times to a point of pride in my capabilities. I truly recommend working with him. No way I could be doing this on my own. Update: I have now been training weekly with Trainer Alheim for over a year. I am only more impressed with him as time has gone on. His workouts are challenging- rarely do you work on "just" one muscle in an exercise- and I know what when he says i will "really like" something that it will be particularly challenging. Yet, he continues to show me new exercises, is always encouraging and patient, and genuinely engaged in my progress. His mixing of mobility, breathing, strength and nutrition is a winning combination and I have seen significant improvement in my own progress as a result. He now offers on-line classes as well which is a good way of learning from him on your own schedule. I continue to highly recommend him for anyone seeking a wonderful trainer.

I highly recommend Trainer Alheim. I have been working with Trainer Alheim for a couple months now. I have been exercising on my own for a long time but wanted to get in better shape and do different exercises than my "usual" routine in the hopes of seeing a difference. Trainer Alheim has certainly delivered. He is upbeat, patient, very organized, and extremely knowledgeable about all types of exercises- but also about things like mobility and breathing, which I did not realize play a large role in a comprehensive workout plan. He "trains differently", using exercises I have never seen before along with more familiar routines. He is a stickler for proper form and technique, and I now realize that I had developed many bad habits in many of my "go to" exercises. Whether you are seeking to get in better shape, or are training for specific event, or just need an encouraging voice to hold you accountable, Trainer Alheim fits the bill. I hate exercise but I love Trainer Alheim. I've been avoiding exercising for 60 years, but now I can't wait for my individual twice-per-week 30 minutes online with Trainer Alheim. We get a lot done during the sessions, He neither overworks nor underworks me. I'm totally amazed how he remembers exactly what I did last session, and exactly how many reps/minutes of each exercise I achieved last week ... or couldn’t achieve last session.. I just started taking Stephan's class a few weeks ago - and now I'm addicted! I've never taken an online class, and was always wary of doing so, but this one really changed my mind! It's like having a personal trainer, even though you're in a class with several other people. Stephan takes the time to make sure that everyone is doing the exercise right, and gives helpful suggestions if he sees something isn't quite right. He's a great trainer, with excellent structure in his class - if you don't have pain afterwards, or the day after - then you're either not doing something right, or you're not taking Stephan's class!

I train with Stephan 3-4 times a week during his mobility and bodyweight strength training classes. I really appreciate the thoughtfulness that goes into each class, how he mixes it up and introduces new exercises to keep things fresh. He incorporates techniques and exercises that you don't normally find from one trainer, such as proper breathing techniques and exercises to maintain joint and back health. This helps keep you healthy in order to keep you healthy. I personally like how well he explains each exercise and how he stresses proper form with each repetition. In the past this is often where I had gotten hurt or worked myself ragged doing things improperly, which led to long periods of inactivity. I've enjoyed being able to maintain a level of consistent exercise and health.

Steve is a professional, knowledgeable and accommodating fitness trainer. His workouts move at a good pace and are adapted for all fitness levels, so everyone feels comfortable. The exercises address general mobility, balance and strength and throughout the class he is able to come up with effective modification as needed. When quarantine began, my husband and I knew that we wanted to keep our 15 year old son in top swimming shape. Let's face it - there's a big difference between having a parent telling their teen to move their body and having a trainer provide a specific workout routine geared towards them. Coach Stephan's online Foundational Strength & Mobility classes are the perfect antidote to the terrible posture I was getting from sitting at work for long periods of time. The stretches are simple yet surprisingly challenging, and three months in, I'm hooked on the good feeling I get after every class.

His online Boot Camp & Mobility classes are perfect for those who want to get their sweat but maybe (like me) need the extra push from a live trainer. I never thought I'd be into a boot camp–style course, but his approach of combining cardio with mobility makes his classes truly unique.
