I am not usually one to write reviews, but I definitely have to write one for The Little Gym! Truly, there are a lot of nice things I could say. We come here for classes with our 3-year-old every week and Mr. AJ is great. Our daughter really enjoys being here, and it’s provided a comfortable place for her to play and grow. However, the real reason I’m writing this review is because of the birthday party we recently had here. Yes, the staff checked all the boxes of helping to throw a great party. They checked in with me leading up to the event, they were very warm and easy to reach with questions, and it was clear that they truly cared about meeting my expectations and helping me to throw a great party for my daughter. That was all awesome, but I am writing this because of something truly above and beyond that one staff member did for me… I had bought a special candle for my daughter’s cake that I wanted to hang on to as a keepsake. Then, as we were cleaning up and gathering everything after the party, I couldn’t find it anywhere and figured that someone must have thrown it away. I was pretty bummed about it, but then something crazy happened… one of the staff members said, hey, let me put some gloves on and look in the garbage. And I’m like, seriously??? So we both put gloves on and started slowly emptying out all the contents of this large garbage can and guess what - we found it!!! I was so surprised and happy to have found it, but even more so, I was absolutely blown away and touched by the level of customer care. I feel like that is so rare to come across these days. Like I would totally have expected them to just dismiss me and tell me they’re sorry I lost it, but no. Without hesitation, the lead staff member for our party dug through the trash with a smile on her face, and I will never forget it. So special shout out to OLGA for not only facilitating a fun and memorable party, but for honestly just being an amazing and caring person who has made me feel so much loyalty toward this place. Thanks to all who work here to create such a special place for our kids!

Love that we can watch the classes each week. Kiddo has been attending for a couple years since age 2. Once they hit 3, they can transition to attending without an adult. Some kids need more time to adjust though, which makes the classes seem disorganized with half the class following the teachers in small groups, and the other half running around or having parents in tow. The teachers will work with you. Either to give the kiddos and parents a period of adjustment, or finding a less hectic time slot. The classes for ages over 4 seem to be more skill-oriented without any parents. Kiddo is getting a lot out of the experience, gaining confidence, and building skills with safety in mind. All the teachers have been great, particularly Mr. AJ.

I don't think I can say enough incredible things about The Little Gym! We just hosted my daughter's 3rd birthday party this past weekend here and I was just blown away with how amazing everyone one! From the consult before booking, assistance along the way, week of check-in, and not to mention, all the ease of set up/clean up being taken care of day of was just wonderful. Was literally STRESS FREE as a parent!! The staff and instructors were spectacular with the kiddos and really geared everything to our crew. They were so kind, sweet, patient and passionate. I cannot rave enough about our experience, and hope to repeat again for my youngest daughter for her birthday as well! Thank you Little Gym for nothing short of a unique, and fun filled day for all!

I cannot express enough how much we love The Little Gym of Glenview! We started our journey here when our daughter was just 5 months old, and now at 3.5 years, it has become a cherished part of our routine. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is welcoming and vibrant, thanks to the incredible owner, Mr. Bill, who sets the tone with his friendly demeanor.

Each coach we’ve encountered has been nothing short of spectacular. Coach Jordan laid a fantastic foundation for our daughter, and though he moved, we were fortunate to have Coach Billy step in. His energy is contagious, and it's a joy to watch him engage with the kids. Coach Missy is another standout; her knowledge and coaching skills are exceptional, which is especially important to me as a former collegiate gymnast.

We also had the pleasure of Coach AJ, who is outstanding! He is always so much fun, full of personality and he puts 110% into all of his classes. Next, there is the remarkable Coach Jane, who has a natural gift for engaging with the children, and they absolutely adore her! She knows how to nurture each child's abilities while making learning fun! Most recently, Coach Billy has taken the reins, and his energetic approach has kept our daughter excited and motivated. His commitment to the kids is simply phenomenal!

What sets The Little Gym of Glenview apart is their commitment to starting gymnastics at such a young age. Finding a place that caters to infants and toddlers was challenging, but The Little Gym was a gem that stood out. I truly appreciate how they foster a love for movement and gymnastics from the earliest stages.

P.S. I forgot to mention another very important thing… The Little Gym is BY FAR the cleanliest gymnastics facility I’ve ever seen in my life. Being a competitive gymnast my entire childhood. I've both competed and practiced in many, many gymnastics facilities in my lifetime. So, for me to say they are the cleanliest gym- it is HUGE!!!:-) Go Little Gym!!!👍

If you are seeking a place for physical development and social development, this is the place. I enrolled my son when he was 6 months, and it is his favorite activity. Not only has he gotten more comfortable in his own skin (his personality shines during class), he has also gained social skills. He has learned to mirror other kids, communicate verbally and non verbally. We have Ms. Jane as a teacher and she is a ray of sunshine, we love her so much. She is beyond genuine and caring, she has built such a beautiful and kind community in our class. If you are hesitant try the free trial and test it out, I promise you that you will not regret it. If you put your kid in any class put them in this. Such a great team of staff, such great kiddos, such a great place. Feels like a second family.

Absolutely loved hosting my son’s 4th birthday party at the Little Gym. They took care of almost everything. Both helpers were great with the kids. Kept them entertained for the full hour then helped with food, cake, clean-up, ect. I literally had to do nothing the day of the party and was able to enjoy the party instead of running around. Highly recommendable!!

This facility far exceeded my expectations! Billy and A.J. were fantastic! We had my daughters birthday party here and they took care of EVERYTHING. They decorated the room, organized the activities, set up and handed out the food and cut the cake. Literally took everything off our hands so we could actually enjoy our time with her and the guests. I loved their energy. They got all the kids engaged and they had a blast. The time was perfect for kids to burn energy and have fun. We had kids from 1.5 to 10 years. The adults had fun watching the kiddos do their thing. I even loved the music! My daughter had so much fun! I would give them more stars! I highly recommend!

Cute spot with great size appropriate equipment and very energetic instructors. We came for a friend's birthday party and had a blast. There were about 25 kids between 3-5 which all enjoyed them immensely but we could see it was hard for just 2 instructors to keep everyone together at times especially since kids wanted to explore and try all the equipment. Another set of hands could have helped alot. Some of the kids had a hard time keeping their hands to themselves or waiting for their turn and the Instructors really handled the situation well. A fun spot with a great team. Nice size party room too and kid size tables and chairs. Along with 2 sinks and 1 bathroom. There were 2 bathrooms in the gym area. Our son really enjoyed it so we are going to return and try out a class. Their website is very well organized and they even have special events which we look forward to checking out. Definitely 100% better then any park district gymnastic class we took. Perfect spot for the toddlers and 3-5 year old age. Highly recommend this spot and looking forward to returning. Would love a little coffee machine or water station for parents as they watch the kids during their sessions.

We use Little Gym for the parent outing drop offs and recently used them to host our 5 year olds birthday party. The Director, Jordan, is incredible. Such incredible work ethic and demeanor. If I owned a business I would hire that man on the spot.

Took my 18 month old to a trial class and it was absolute chaos from beginning to end. You walk into a 10x10 greeting/waiting area filled with too many kids and their parents and not enough cubbies to put away your stuff. Was given no instructions or guidance on what to do or expect for the class. Had to put our belongings in a corner because class was starting. The classroom itself... Well think about a fun padded gym area with different stations set up to play. Now fill that area with 20 toddlers all competing with each other to play on those stations. Collisions and tantrums all around. I think my kid was in a tantrum 1/4 of the time because I frequently had to relocate her or stop her from taking away another kid's toy or spot. It's a joke that they charge a class price for it. There's one teacher for the whole room. They set up a couple of small activities throughout the class time but there's so much chaos that if your kid wants to do it, they'll get 1-2 turns tops. It's a complete free for all. The only positive of this is that my kid probably gained 20 stat points in building up her immunity. I understand that a class for toddlers is going to be a little chaotic but allowing 20 kids in there for the same class during Covid season is completely irresponsible and a rip off for $26.

The Gym is open and extra vigilant about sanitizing. We're greeted with temperature screening and a scrubbed classroom. The children are able to enjoy their class with a sense of normalcy hard to capture these days. Hand sanitizer is readily available, encouraged and used before entering and exiting the classroom. I am grateful to have my son enjoy himself and interact with other children as safely as possible.

The classes are fine but the schedules are incredibly limited and the access is nonexistent. Classes are restricted to one 45-50 minute class once per week with your membership and any other "Open gym" times are, maximum, 30 minutes, two days/week. This is simply not enough - we live in the area and pass the place regularly and it feels like it is always closed or locked (I know because my daughter constantly bangs on the windows to try and go in). Even though we are steps from the facility, we took our business to Gymboree in Northbrook Court which had much better schedules, more open gym times (2 hours minimum), and allowed for unlimited classes with membership. Bottom line: you can do better. We jokingly call it "The Little Gyp" in our house.
