The Rack Strength and Performance is a spacious gym in Naperville, IL offering group training and personal training sessions. We have set out to create a training environment that caters to the serious strength enthusiast and seasoned athlete as well as the beginner looking to start their journey. A place where everybody feels confident that they are getting stronger everyday. You will follow along with a custom-made 12-week workout programs are designed by a former Division 1 Strength Coach. Our programs are easily modified to focus on your specific goals, whether they be based in performance, aesthetics, health, or weight loss. Get in here, lift heavy, get strong, CHANGE YOUR LIFE!

This gym is special. Nice people highly motivated to be fit and inclusive of all. Led by the best personal trainer - by far - that I have worked with since starting 25 years ago.
I'm not a gym rat. Just an on-again, off-again exerciser and yo-yo dieter who's finally committed. Recently, I toted 40+ pounds across 45 miles of mountain trails with a gross elevation gain of 11,000 feet. (Picture below.) I couldn't have done it in the hands of lesser trainers The balance and leg strengthening work Cody put me through made all the difference.
What do I find working out here?
=>Efficient workouts that get faster results than I've ever achieved, even when I was much younger.
=> A safe training environment where my chances of injury or overuse are greatly reduced.
=> A variety of exercises to prevent monotony and maximize results and stability
=> Core strengthening as a byproduct of exercises primarily designed for other muscles. (Did I mention efficient workouts?)
=>Community. I've enjoyed classes and pickleball and look forward to rucking.
Is this review legit? Just ask my 18 y.o. son (an real athlete who thinks as highly of Cody as I do) and my wife (who would never have exercised at a gym without machines - until now)!

Great coaching and awesome community! The gym is well equipped and well kept. Everyone is friendly and there is truly a sense of community. If you are looking for an environment to keep you motivated and support your fitness journey, definitely check out the Rack!

Let me begin by saying, this place has changed my workout experience so much!! Cody is such an amazing trainer, he is very focused on movements, making sure you are doing your form correctly and just overall has such a good attitude! There is so much positivity here with so many different kinds of people, it feels like family! I started working out just a few months ago and this has become a routine I don't know if I can live without. If you are looking to seriously change your life, START WITH THE RACK!! You are guaranteed to walk out of this place feeling STRONGER and more CONFIDENT THAN EVER!! 5++++++ STARS!!

I love the way Cody designs the weekly training curriculum . It’s never boring and always fun, motivating and challenging. Each week is loaded with different workouts with different challenges to push through. He is so skilled. I definitely recommend training here if you are really passionate about building your power, strength and performance.

Let me begin with I never leave reviews, however I felt compelled to for The Rack.
I began my journey looking for a gym in September of 2021. I didn’t want just any ole gym. No no, the Orange Theories and Planet Fitnesses just wouldn’t do. I was on a quest to find a gym that had more than just lunk alarms and donuts on the first Wednesday of every month. Then I found The Rack Strength and Performance and let me tell you…. Wow.
Here I feel I am a part of something bigger than myself. It’s a community that I am grateful to be a part of. The training is different from any I’ve encountered and Cody is extremely good at his craft and keeps things different and challenging but fun. The group classes are effective and always a good time. Not only am I seeing physical change in my body and getting stronger (which was the priority) but I am gaining more than that. Friendships, support, laughter and a sense of community that is always welcoming with open arms. Everyone should work out here. All the time.

Ok! Where do I literally even begin?! I love love love this place! My peach is rounder, my triceps are poppin’, my tummy is yummy, and I have the quads of a goddess. I love to workout with Cody, T Daddy, and Tommy. I have never felt better!

Just tried my first class at bvv fitness and I can already tell this place is going to get me in shape. You get a full body workout in an hour and afterwards you feel very accomplished. Cody and Jazper are super helpful and put a high emphasis on good form.

Out of all the different personal training gyms I have been to this is by far my favorite. The trainer Cody is very friendly and definitely knows how to push you to get the best workout. I don't see a reason why you'd go elsewhere when you can go here for a great experience every time.

I just started working out at BVV Fitness. One of the things I love the most is the people who go to the gym. They come from all walks of life and make going to the gym so much more enjoyable. Cody is an amazing trainer and focuses on proper form which most gyms do not.
I would recommend this gym to anyone who is serous about training.

Hands down the best gym I’ve ever stepped foot in. Sara and Jimmy are delightful to work with! The personal training sessions are amazing and leave you with such a sense of accomplishment. There’s no meandering around, everything is carefully formatted, which I love. They have also provided me with a nutrition plan that is much easier to follow than I expected.
Aside from the workouts and nutrition plans, they also sell the highest quality CBD I have ever had and my sleep has substantially improved! I would highly recommend this personal training gym to everyone in the Naperville area!!!

I joined because I had worked with Jimmy, the owner and head trainer, at a previous club. I just found out that he had his own place and immediately signed up. He knows everything there is to know about working out, and keeps everything challenging, and fun when you come in to work out.
I used to go to big box gyms before I met Jimmy but always felt I wasn't doing everything to it's fullest and really needed some help. Jimmy provides that for you and helps push you - at your own pace - so that you can achieve your fitness goals.
If I could give Jimmy 6 stars I would its that great of a place!

BVV Fitness is a gym second to none!!! These guys do it right. Jimmy, co-owner and head trainer is the best trainer around. He makes it fun and challenging whether you are an athlete trying to go to the next level or a casual attendee just looking to get fit. Being a new gym they’ve got all new, top of the line equipment, nutritional supplements and therapy products, vibration rollers, and deep muscle massage guns for pre and post workout to help eliminate muscle soreness. They even have the latest BVR devices to help those of us dealing with chronic shoulder and knee pain. Come check out one of the many workout sessions, you will not be disappointed!

Jimmy Carter is the man. He really knows his stuff and turns the traditional gym upside down. I tried big box gyms so many times and I never knew what I was doing, got super self conscious and never really saw any results. Wasted a lot of money that way as well because would eventually lose motivation but keep the membership.
That is NOT my experience at BVV. First off, you are in a class so that is added accountability to show up on time. Second, there is an awesome community that forms working out alongside people trying to accomplish the same exercises and sets you are. Great motivation and makes it more fun! Third, because of the expertise of Jimmy, you see amazing results and do things that other gyms don't even offer. And the facilities and equipment are amazing! Very clean, organized, super careful about COVID.
I hated working out before but since joining BVV, I am hooked. I feel better. I actually show up and I see results. This is the best money I have ever spent on a fitness program. Highly recommend it, especially if you have tried to turn yourself around, get in shape and failed. You won't fail at BVV!

I joined up because Jimmy, the owner and head trainer, was my trainer from a previous club. He is an incredible trainer. He is always in the know on the latest research and incorporates it into the program. Recovery and stretching is not skipped, and Jimmy knows how to help you get the most out of your workout and attain your goals.
I've been working out here for the past month and a half, and I've already lost 11lbs of fat and gained 6lbs of muscle. Walking up and going to BVV is a highlight of my day, and Jimmy makes it fun to work. I would highly recommend especially if you are tired of or have tried several other gyms and fitness programs because this one will work if you do.
