The staff here is hit or miss. Signed up my kid for pre-core with no issues, then a year later kinder-core. The kinder-core staff seems lax in watching the behavior of other kids in his class. I noticed one child running to his mom crying about some incident then the mom getting into a slight altercation with the coach, which I didn't have the full context on. Later on, my kid was exhausted and mentioned he really wanted a water break mid-way through and didn't get one. I confronted the coach, to which he said, "I don't usually give them water breaks unless they ask." Any reasonable person in charge of a gym class with 5yos knows these kids need to be regularly hydrated, and it was just an afterthought for this guy.. Another time, my kid tells me other kids in his class were shaking the tightrope when he and others were attempting to cross. Apparently, the guy noticed, told them to stop but didn't follow through and kept doing it. Lastly, the first day the head staff mentioned one of the rules was not to touch anyone. One day he tells me other kids in his class were physically trying to pull him away from some play area he was trying to get into. Again this 20-something college kid staff either didn't notice or didn't care. Not trying to be a Karen here, but this place seems like it's full of college kids running it as a side job without any clear sense of professionalism. Needless to say, won't be coming back.

I booked birthday party for my son at the Zone - turf field (he is big fan of soccer) He had a blast! Very nice stuff who was responsible for games and blue room clean up. Unfortunately, I have to give 3 stars because front desk person, made my guest uncomfortable as well as myself. My friendβs child wondered of our party to the other privet party room, took some water and played a bit the other side. The way situation was addressed was unfortunately very uncomfortable. Are you serious , kids make mistakes these are just kids β¦ you do not have to make a seen of it ! That also goes to the parents of the other side ! Complain about water being take away by a child. Where is compassion, understanding and decent moral values ?!!!
Another occasion which was uncomfortable, for me was my guest late arrival.
My guest was a little bit late and even the front desk person was told they are here for my sonβs birthday party they were not permitted to go. Good I was just passing by and asked whatβs going, otherwise they would be standing there for next couple of minutes.
I am very upset with this two incidents . I was hoping for nice , smooth birthday party.
If you look for great maintained party room decent turf field it is the place but be aware of the bumps on the road.

AMAZING place to take your kids. The parkour gym has so many options for them to burn energy. They do classes and Iβm going to sign my kids up. The staff were friendly at the birthday I attended. The place seemed clean and, as I mentioned, has so many options to keep kids entertained. Canβt wait to go back!

I am not a gym person and sometimes find them intimidating but everyone there from trainers to fellow gym goers are super friendly and welcoming. The trainers are all very knowledgeable and helpful with modifications to exercises to accommodate injuries or weak body muscles. I also appreciate how encouraging they are and willing to help me accomplish my goals in a healthy way. Completely recommend this gym to everyone looking for a positive and welcoming community.

The zone is an incredible parkour gym that is fun for all ages. The staff is passionate, fun, caring and beyond helpful. We have been for both open gym and to hold a birthday party and both experiences couldn't have been better.

I have 3 kiddos taking classes at the Zone. Ages 6, 4 and 2. They all have Coach Jordan and he is amazing. He is patient and supportive. He doesnβt push the kids too hard but encourages them and celebrates when they feel comfortable doing something new. The kids truly have fun with him. The facilities at The Zone are fantastic. We actually drive about 20-25 minutes to take classes here.

I went here today for a school event and it was so much fun! One of the workers were so sweet and they helped me and my friends do cheer! It was such a good place to interact with new people and find your new hobbies! Over all I definitely recommend!

Iβm in high school now and I started going here in 3rd grade. My brother has been working here for a long time and he loves it. It is very organized and very safe for people that are little. But itβs even more fun for the real men since we can parkour. If your a little kid, donβt be annoying and get in the way

This place is great for kids.
Only Downside (at the moment of covid) is the allocated time per session. Every session changes age group so can't extend exciting stay beyond 1 hr. :)

The Zone is an incredible asset to our community. Coach Ross and his crew do so well with my young children. We appreciate their Parcor classes because the skills they are learning will apply to anything they do. My kids love feeling like they are getting stronger, and they do a good job pushing the kids a little further with every class. Coach Ross also emphasizes respect and kindness among peers - something I appreciate and don't think happens enough in other types of classes. We've had a birthday party there and it was well executed and the kids had a blast. They ask every day 'how many days left (till parcor)'? I would LOVE to see this place progress and offer more types of classes as my kids progress.

A well built large space. Trainers are great with kids. We were NOT impressed with lax enforcement of COVID mitigation measures but at this point my expectations with the general public's adherence is really low. Masks are required and sanitizer is readily available. Just need enforcement in keeping masks on.

The Zone River Trails Park District workouts changes and I donβt have to think about what I need to do. I like that we get one-on-one coaching if weβre not in the correct position. The coaches motivate everyone and I love how the music helps us keep in pace.

I had my son's birthday here and it was a blast. It's so tucked away that I nearly forgot about it until my daughter's friend had her birthday here. Both times were great. The staff members are genuine and passionate about the activities. Super cool crew. Gotta make a point to come back soon.
