Train Moment Chicago is my go-to spot whenever I’m in the city. The vibe is always right — great workouts, great people, and a space that just makes you want to lock in and get better. The trainers know how to push you without doing too much, and every session feels intentional.
Big shoutout to the whole team, and especially the front desk crew. People like Antoine make the experience feel personal and welcoming the second you walk in. It’s little things like that that keep me coming back.

Great circuit workout. The climber really gives another vibe for a cardio option. Trainers are super nice and very normal. They've implemented new strength/lift focus days. I love these days. You get more time on the rig to really build your form and lift HEAVY.

From the moment you walk into TM Lincoln Park, you can feel the energy. The workouts are intentional, the vibe is motivating, and the coaches? Absolutely top-tier. It’s rare to find a group fitness class that’s strength-forward, and Train Moment nails it.
What really sets TM apart is the attention to form and safety. The coaches don’t just lead the class—they coach. They take the time to offer adjustments, modifications, and real guidance so you’re not just working hard, you’re working smart.
As someone who’s tried just a lot of different fitness format out there, I can confidently say TM is in a league of its own. The programming is challenging yet accessible, with a focus on low-impact movements that are kind to your joints (a total game-changer if you’ve ever left a workout feeling more broken than better).

I am so glad I found Train Moment!! I’ve been to several gyms (both corporate and private) over the years but nothing has compared to Train Moment! EACH COACH IS INCREDIBLE!! Best workout classes in Chicago! Before landing at Train Moment I did trial memberships at a few different gyms and stuck with Train Moment because they were the highest quality workouts with best usage of time. The balance of cardio with functional and explosive strength is exactly what I was looking for. 200 classes later I still look forward to Train Moment because the variety of workouts (which avoids plateauing), quality of instructors and community of other gym-goers.

As a former runner, I struggled to find a workout that really pushed me in the same way. TM is it. You are doing something different every time so it keeps challenging your body. Train Moment is my absolute favorite studio in Chicago! The workouts are intentional, the atmosphere is motivating, and the coaches are top notch. I love that it's a strength-forward group fitness class because in my experience that is difficult to find. Went to single-sided Saturday 9am class taught by Raina. The class was completely full but still well run and well organized. Raina was paying careful attention to the class and was able to give detailed suggestions on how to improve my form and technique on the rig. I do very much appreciate their personalized approach to weight lifting classes; allows me to see how far I have improved in my weight lifting ability and strength. Looking forward to them opening a class in River North in February since that's just a few blocks from my office!

I love Train Moment to get in an upbeat focused strength workout. As a runner, I don’t need a ton of cardio (Barry’s was too much), so using the Versaclimber is a better option. Also as someone who isn’t at all familiar with the names of exercises, I appreciate the clear overview of each circuit (3 circuits with exercises at each) and being able to reference the screens at any point if I forget. Or just asking the coach.
The coaches are clear, concise, and will step in and provide feedback if they see you’re not executing the workout as it should be. Plus they’re just chill good humans.
The environment is darker, which I weirdly like. I don’t need a spotlight on me while I workout. The facilities are also super clean. They bring you wipes post each circuit for you to wipe down the equipment. Love that.
Showers with some toiletries, and a water fountain are onsite here too.
Highly recommend if you’re looking to get in a quick strength workout in an upbeat environment with a good community.

Perfect combination of strength training and cardiovascular endurance. The sessions are organized so you feel confident on performing at each of the three stations. Each day focuses on a specific movement/fitness style so you can choose which days you want to attend to fit your training regimen.
The coaches are all incredibly knowledgeable and motivate you to perform your best. Strong emphasis on form so that we are training safe and challenging ourselves. With the introduction of TM Lift, the coaches have been guiding us on breaking through strength plateaus often limited by dumbbells by utilizing barbells+compound movements. It's a game changer and really challenges the need to have a box gym membership!
I've had the pleasure of having several coaches, and they'll all helped me tremendously get in shape for fitness competitions such as Hyrox! Special shout out to Coach Kiley and her can't miss high energy Posterior Wednesday sessions(now TM Lift)🙏, Coach Chalena for her early morning Hyrox focused classes🏃♂️, and Coach Greg+Ovi for those heavy heavy strength days🏋♂️. They all played a key role in having a successful Hyrox event!

I have taken numerous classes (Tuesday's being my favorite!) across both of Train Moment's Chicago locations and they all rock, but if you are looking to try them out for your first go or make the move away from another gym my one sticking point that I come back to time and time again is the coaching. Most specifically I wanted to call out Coach Kiley not only for her knowledge and expertise but her enthusiasm and spunk. I have been to the 6am classes and 5pm classes alike and no matter the time, day or night she always makes you feel like this is the best part of her day and inherently makes you want to work harder and get better. I love this gym and the people in it and I just recently started working fully remote but you better believe I will gladly divvy across the city to get in here!!

A year ago I signed up for the 2 week trial and was hooked from the first class. I immediately purchased a membership and could not be more pleased with that decision over 200 classes later. This is the best weight training programming I've ever come across at a fitness studio. I've achieved so many PR's and I'm the strongest I've ever been. I never have to drag myself to class because Train Moment motivates me to want to show up. The coaches are fantastic. I've been going there for almost a year now, and let me tell you, the coaches Cecily and Greg are incredible. They pay close attention to your form, making sure you're doing the exercises right and avoiding any injuries. The programming is thoughtfully created so I end each week knowing I targeted all muscle groups and feel strong and accomplished. The coaches are friendly, knowledgeable and motivating. I recommend this gym to anyone looking to work hard and be apart of an unparalleled gym community!
