TruFitness is such a unique place to train! It's a smaller place, with a really great vibe! What I love is that you have lots of options for training sessions, as they are scheduled on the half- hour. You sign up for a session and there will probably be 2-3 people in that slot, as well as a few people from other time slots. Mary goes over the exercises for the session, makes sure you get it, gives feedback on weights, technique, etc. The session lasts about an hour, but you can go at your own pace as well. Mary is always rotating around and making sure you are doing things properly or spotting when needed. It's the perfect blend of small group training and individualized attention. In the 4-1/2 months I've been training at TruFitness, I have learned new techniques, been challenged, and learned to enjoy working out!

I started working out at TruFitness and Wellness a couple of months ago--on the advice of a friend who had started there 3 months prior to that. My experience echos exactly what my friend had described to me. Mary, the owner, is INCREDIBLY HANDS ON. It is actually more like having a personal trainer than it is a normal gym experience. She makes videos each day, so we know the basic exercises we are to complete as well as the equipment we will need to complete those exercises. Then, when we come into the gym, not only does she modify up/down as needed but also models how to correctly do each of the tasks. Also, she has a great memory for who has which limitations. Just today, she remembered I had had a shoulder injury (prior to coming to her studio) and that I had a cortisone shot to relieve ongoing pain in that area. I barely remembered I did that, and I am astounded that she remembered that with ease. The environment Mary cultivates is also worth mentioning. She encourages all of us to help and encourage others. She meets each athlete (and in her mind we are all athletes--no matter our fitness/ability level) where they are. You will see all fitness levels at her studio. She then prescribes very meaningful/doable tasks so we can reach the next level of fitness. Mary also conducts optional fitness and nutritional challenges. I am doing the current one. When this challenge first started I was out of town and had a million questions. I texted her--obviously apologizing for bothering her. She acted as if it was no bother and actually a pleasure to answer each of my questions. I never thought I would go to a "gym--especially being obese. I was worried I would be looked down upon. Instead I have encouragement from both Mary and the other members. Mary is the best trainer and gym owner ever.

As a middle aged male in my 40s, I had recently been experiencing general discomfort/soreness and thought it was a sign of just getting older. I’ve come to find out that I just need to move around more! Coach Mary does a great job of being mindful of aging, and how that relates to general fitness and mobility. By doing strength training 3-4 times per week over the 14 months, I have noticed a huge improvement on my mobility and also my general well being. I feel much stronger and more alive than I have felt in quite some time! Even my golf game is improving from all of the training!

TruFitness offers a great facility and atmosphere to work out in. The owner + staff are more than knowledgeable. They push you hard and are also great to spend time with. The gym goers are super friendly too + they accept everyone from all ages and body types. It’s great to see.
As far as workouts, they're very well guided and will hit every part of the body. Things are always mixed up so it doesn’t seem repetitive, what my brain needs!
If diet help is needed, I have achieved obstacles and weight goals that I was not able to do on my own. The diet given has left me feeling more energetic.

Love this Gym, I have only been here for 2 months and I have already seen progress. I love the family atmosphere you feel the minute you walk in. The workouts are never the same. Everyone is doing the same workout but at their own pace, I Love This. When I came in for a consultation Mary was very detailed about the gym. What they stand for but at the same time never took her eyes of any of the members working out and coaching them. I knew I was sold at that moment. ALL the coaches at Trufitness are there to help and encourage you to do your best and never stop. I will never go to another gym. You should try this Gym.

I recently joined TruFitness to get away from super packed gyms. Little did I know I would be entering a gym that has all of the workouts planned ahead for you and will even tailor the workouts to your needs. Mary creates creative workouts that target priority muscles and small, unused muscles. She challenges you without frustrating you. I also love how the classes are set up. You can come in whenever and start the workout. There is no “class begins now” or stage that the instructor stands on. She walks the room as you lift to make sure your form is correct and lets you get it done.
Also shout out to Mary because I suffered a tendon injury in my ankle this summer and she worked with me to modify the workouts so I could still
lift while protecting my ankle. She also goes above and beyond by sending me holistic methods that will help me heal. I could go on and on about how awesome Mary and her gym are!

The BEST decision I have made this year - joining TruFitness. I came to feel stronger and gained SO much more. I could go on and on about how great this place is. Personalized workouts with group energy. No guesswork, workouts are planned and there’s always a coach to help and modify if you need it. The specialty classes are amazing! Boot camp, kickboxing, barre, yoga on top of metabolic and strength, plus kids classes, fun pop up classes and special needs workout groups too! The coaches are knowledgeable, up to date on fitness and health and so friendly you can ask them anything. LOVE everything this gym has to offer and love everything they stand for! A holistic approach to health and wellness. TruFitness is truly set aside different than other gyms because the trainers and owners are educated and knowledgable on all things health not just how to kick your butt through a workout (which they do). I’ve been to many gyms and have exercised regularly for the past 25 years. Even so, the weight crept up on me over the past few years, and my overall motivation, fitness, and mindset were on a decline. Every trainer had the same response, eat more protein, work out more, do more cardio. Definition of insanity, trying the same plan over and over and hoping for different results. On a whim, I met with the owner of Trufitness, Mary, and for the first time, had a fitness and nutrition profession actual listen to me. We through everything in the past out the window. I signed up for Mary’s eating plan (to identify which foods are inflaming my body, causing bloating, discomfort and fatigue). This was a life changer! I also immediately started working out using Mary’s comprehensive daily work out plans. I must add, Trufitness has a ton a equipment, variety, classes, flexibility, and also infrared saunas, all at affordable monthly prices. Over the last 11 weeks, I’ve shed 20 pounds and 12 inches off my frame. I’m healthier, I have a much better relationship with food, I actually exercise less (for real). Check out this gym. I love this gym! The facility is clean, big, and very accessible. The trainers are amazing and genuinely care about your wellbeing and helping you reach your goals. They will never let you give up on yourself or take the easy way out. They are supportive and will accommodate you if you have injuries. The training you are offered is beyond what you can receive in any other gym. I look forward to my workout every day because I know I will be making progress and having fun doing it.
