My daughter loves gymnastics and naturally flips around our house with her cousins. We even bought gymnastics equipment to help her along and she really enjoys learning new skills. She has attended class for a year now and enjoyed herself. She has learned 5 key skills. Bunny hops, from the floor back bends, cartwheel, forward roll, and back roll. She’s been doing well and practices daily, but, I was eager to see UGA challenge her to learn new skills, master old, use proper form, but this hasn’t happened. We wish the kids skills were better considered and challenged accordingly. The gym is big, the equipment is well placed, and there are plenty of teachers. I think there could be better ways to assess students skill levels and help them get better.

This place is the best! The team is all around amazing. So caring, loving, kind, understanding, and helpful. My son loves coach Katie and coach Jake the most! But every single one is wonderful in their own way!

My toddler has been attending UGA Gymnastics in Tinley Park for about 4 months now, and we’ve had a great experience so far! She absolutely loves it and looks forward to every class. It’s been amazing to see how much she’s learned in such a short time she can now do a forward roll and is becoming more confident with jumping and other basic movements. The coaches are friendly and patient.

Only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that sometimes the classes feel a bit crowded, but overall, we’re very happy and plan to continue. Highly recommend for toddlers starting out in gymnastics!

Kate was our party host for my daughters birthday this weekend. She was honestly the best and most friendliest person I have encountered there. (Honestly the entire staff is amazing). She was so lovely and willing to help in anyway shape or form ❤️. Such a great place to have the kids birthday, everyone had a blast!

Cant wait for my girl to start spring term gymnastics soon.

After 7 years and over 15 sessions my son still can not do a back hand spring or anything else…if your child is older watch them because the staff use the older kids to watch the younger kids.
If you have a boy interested in gymnastics, look elsewhere because this isn’t it…

We absolutely love this location. All of the instructors are amazing. Kate has always been so kind, welcoming and professional. I don’t know all of them by name but so knowledgeable and patient with my young girls. So grateful for this opportunity & this location.

Enrolled our daughter here but she was the only one Enrolled in the 4pm class so we asked for a refund until the next session so she wouldn't be alone. Hailey the office manager was very rude and because of that we will not be enrolling our daughter at this location.

I put my daughter in gymnastics when she was 3 years old. She blossomed into it naturally. After the community center near our home no longer offers gymnastics I decided to try united gymnastics thinking because of the diversity it would be a great experience for us. In all of the time my daughter took classes here not one time did any of the coaches inform me of her progress or lack of. Our experience was not personable enough for me.

We have still only had one session here and are looking forward to the rest of the term, but so far EVERYONE we have spoken to has been absolutely amazing. They’re friendly, helpful, and patient with the kids. Kiara at the front desk was very helpful and the Coaches were so nice. We’re so happy to be coming here!

I wanted this Gym to workout for my girls and I tried for a year and it’s always the same thing. Way too many kids, instructors not giving the children attention. My oldest was bullied on several occasions both in class and open gym. Shows how much they do not care and it’s all about the money. For the price and for only one day a week you would think they would pretend to teach. I don’t see how my kids would ever be placed in an upper level. I have inquired on different occasions how can my kids level up and I’m told that the instructor will decide. Seems like never since they’re too busy talking with each other! Don’t waste your money or time. Shame because it’s so close to my home.

My son has been going to Tinley UGA for the past couple years for their Ninja class and has always had such a blast. So, we decided to book his 6th Bday party here and we just could not have been happier! From booking through party time, they are just wonderful and easy to work with! The staff is amazing with the kids and even parents enjoyed their time. They were super accommodating with whatever we wanted/needed, they were attentive to the needs of everyone that was there, and my son was so happy they were able to play the music he wanted to listen to, LOL. It just felt as seamless as a kids bday party can go and I was really happy and impressed with everything. THANK YOU!

My daughter loves going to UGA every week and the progress she has made has been truly remarkable. Coach Stacey and Coach Sky both have natural gift for teaching and motivating their students. Both have are such a positive influence in our daughter.

After having attended UGA for gymnastics classes since 2018, my eight year-old child joined their cheer team in Fall of 2023. I hoped that through a cheer team, my daughter would learn about team work and be positively impacted with messages of empowerment and the possibilities of achievement through teamwork.

Beginning the month after we joined the program, the children had to endure unnecessary drama brought on by the Coach, who is also the Director of the UGA cheer program. The parents on the team made several inquiries and asked for meetings since we only heard what was going on from our children and the communication from the coach directly to the parents was inconsistent at best. After having to take an unpaid leave of absence for a week because of having taken too much on (per the gym owner), the coach came back to our team for only 2 / 3 practices per week. The girls still were required to show up the third day every week but were given an inconsistent roster of co-coaches. During the season, at least three co-coaches left the team.

The girls were asked to share with one another what they didn't like about each other in a practice. They endured coaching strategies that are commonly viewed as toxic and unacceptable for children - they were yelled at, talked sarcastically to, told they weren't good enough, and were cussed at by the Coach/Director.

The program was very expensive. At the end of the season, the team had to miss a competition because of an illness. The Coach did not look to sub another competition into the roster. The Coach misled the team to think they had earned bids to keep competing and go on further. The parents still don't even know what was truly earned in terms of bids or not. The process of choosing competitions and whether or not the team would proceed to further competitions was completely opaque. The team spent 6 - 7.5 hours a week since June of 2023 learning and practicing one two minute routine in order to compete. They were promised at least five competitions and more if they won. They only got four, of which two they did win. It was a sincere let down not to be able to continue to compete after all of that investment.

Various parents escalated the issue to the Owner multiple times throughout the season. The Owner often used an "I've been out of town" as an excuse to not having been available or not being aware of what was going on. It is my opinion that being out of town or on vacation is not an excuse a business owner can use. After the final weekend when the Coach cussed the girls out seconds before the girls took the stage and after weeks of asking, the Owner finally met with several parents and two of the team members. He expressed confusion and at times expressed disbelief of what the children and the parents said happened. He did issue a less than 10% refund to the families.

Had a kids bday party here. Very professional staff. Host Kierra was very helpful, accommodating, assisted with setting up decorations, available whenever we had questions. Four coaches held structured activities for the kids in the gym, kept it very organized, while parents watched through the glass windows. Coaches got kids together to take a group pic of the kids. General public is not there during your party.
Parents had to sign a waiver online or on the IPAD. Host ordered Durbins pizza for the party room. Purchased a case of water and juice from UGA. Brought our own cake, decorations, and pinata. Music is already playing inside the gym. Party time is a 2 hour duration until the next party comes in and your time is up. Kids had fun and parents were very impressed. Kids just wished they could play in the gym longer.

I like this place BUT I feel as if a few of the coaches don’t pay attention when girls are doing things wrong. They just continue to let them do it however… how are the younger girls especially at level one supposed to get better when they don’t have someone showing them correctly… unfortunately after 2 sessions my daughter has shown barely any progress and will not return…

Very fun b day party for my niece at the gymnastic park. They let the kids play and had lots of activities and equipment for them to play on. The only think is they had all the parties overlapping and there was not a lot of privet time. It felt a little rushed when there is another party waiting in the lobby to take your spot.

A lady that worked there was pretty rude to me and my friends. Tbh I'd expect a nicer attitude from the workers since it's mostly a place where kids play and have fun. A mom there literally kicked me out of the foam pool thing because her daughter couldnt jump in; and I was trying to move so she would.but the mom couldnt wait another thirty seconds. I've only been here once, and I dont plan on going there again.

My daughter broke two bones in her forearm in an open gym. There were no supervisors during the open gym and they didn’t even call me to let me know about my daughter. The mom who my daughter was with that day called me and when I got there she was standing next to her and helped me take her to the car. They were letting kids using the bars in an appropriate way and my kid could have hurt more...
I definitely don’t recommend this place

My daughter LOVES this place. The coaches and staff are always kind and welcoming. The owner, Mike, always strives to make sure the kids are safe and happy....Also, I would like to address the comments made by Megan D. regarding her experience with Open Gym last night. Her account is COMPLETELY FALSE. Mike encouraged her children, multiple times, to enter the gym to play- I witnessed this first-hand. She was rude and her actions were inappropriate. Very poor parenting, in my opinion.

These people refused to let my children enter the gym for OPEN GYM until almost the end, after I had already paid for them and left the premises. I cant say enough great things about this facility. My daughter started coming for the 3 year old program and loves every minute of it. She has learned so much in the short time we have been here. I can really see a difference in the caliber of the teachers as well as the program compared to others we have participated in. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. We also had a birthday party here and couldnt have been happier. They had structured activites for the kids and helped make the party run smoothly. We even had parents look into sending their kids there for class as they were leaving the party. We look forward to making many more memories at UGA!!

Not serious about gymnastics instruction at all! No real instruction given no attention to detail or students needs parking is an absolute nightmare!!!
No value for the money instructors are distracted and show favoritism. No follow up calls or email ever sent to track my experience. I was very disappointed with this school. They did not create enough value in their program for what they charge. Instructors favor certain students over others and show more individual attention to one student vs another. I was very unhappy when I personally witnessed another student in my daughters 4 year old class who was physically bullying other students including my own child. I had to bring it to the attention of the instructors as they were very distracted during class and nothing was done not even a talk with the parent of the other child. I would never give this company another dime of mine
