V3Fit is hands down the best gym I’ve been to! I was looking for intense bootcamp classes with knowledgeable instructors and a supportive community—and I found exactly that! Gregg and Ricky are phenomenal. Their attention to detail is unmatched, and they genuinely care about helping you move safely and correctly—which has been a game-changer for me with my back issues. The focus here is on lasting health and real strength, not fleeting appearances. The workouts build on each other, so you get stronger every week. Everyone is part of the team, no matter their age, fitness level, or body type. I love working out here and learn something new in every class. Can’t recommend this gym enough!

Great group of people. When I wanted to refocus on my health journey, I checked out pretty much every gym in the Highland Park area and V3 was by far the best. What I loved about V3 (aside from the great workouts) was how close knit the gym felt allowing for more personalized attention. I've been to some gyms before where you'll show up and basically be on your own for an hour with a bunch of people throwing weights around, little focus on form and everyone is in it for themselves. V3 is almost like going to a personal training session with several other people. They push you but also can make accommodations if you have any physical ailment that day. The workouts are incredibly varied with everything from your traditional pull-ups, deadlifts, and chest passes to more varied band work. Do yourself a favor and check them out!

I've been working out for a long time but had never really focused on the mind / muscle connection in a conscientious way until I started training with Gregg and Ricky. The owner, Gregg, has done an incredible job curating a welcoming community and an upbeat, energetic space; and I never leave a workout without a good sweat and at least 4-5 obscure fun facts. I've also lost about 10 pounds so that's cool too!!

Tucked away in the rear of a Highland Park industrial building, you will find a hidden gem of a gym. V3 has something for everyone, from personal training to small group classes. We are three months in, and my wife and I are both addicted to "Barbell Bootcamp." Barbell Bootcamp is a workout of the day style class. perfected by V3's owner, Gregg Piper. Each day's workout is unique, and focuses on a different muscle group. Classes are offered at convenient times throughout the weekday (6am, noon, 6pm) and weekend (9am or 10am). The beauty of the small class format is the individual attention each participant receives from the trainer, critical for anyone working through limitations. The results speak for themselves. Our bodies are stronger and more defined than ever. But V3 also changed how we see food. Gregg set us up with personalized daily macronutrient goals. He didn't just put us on a diet, but rather set us on course to eat holistically for the rest of our lives. Together with consistent workouts, I lost 15 lbs and 4% body fat over six weeks. A BIG thank you to Gregg, Ricky, Dawn and the rest of the V3 family for making each workout so much fun!

I have been a member of larger fitness clubs all my life and decided to find a smaller gym where the trainers watch you closer and am now a very happy member of V3 Fit Club. It's small but mighty and I have never felt so fit in my life. The workouts vary everyday and there is more than enough equipment needed to work every muscle. The trainers are very effective and very knowledgeable about training. Music is awesome and the other members are like family. Drop in and see what we're all about, you won't ever want to leave.

If I could give this gym more than 5 stars I would. Gregg is great and any time I have a question or concern he is always very quick to answer. He has been doing this a long time and knows how to run a great gym with great trainers. Ricky is my trainer and always feel like I have gotten a really really good workout each session. He has also been training for a long time and knows what works the best, putting the right plan together that fits every individual and how intense and quickly you want to see results. I have been coming to group bootcamp classes at V3 for 4 yrs now. To say that V3 has changed my (sedentary) life, is only part of how much I have benefited from my experience at V3. I frequently will say I went from couch to bootcamp! I am now 60 yrs old with greatly improved health, strength and flexibility. My overall health is improved significantly and a chronic health condition was reserved with my commitment to bootcamp at V3. The classes are always fun! The trainers Gregg and Rick make sure your form is perfect and each day the workout is different! The people who also go to the classes are laid back, friendly and have become friends. V3 is highly recommended. V3 is also a two year winner for best personal trainer for Make it Better/Better magazine 2018 & 2019! Hope to meet you at V3 soon!

I am writing this review while on vacation which highlights the focus of the review. While I am here I go the the fitness center and work out there.
But something is missing. What? The regimen of multiple sets and short breaks between, the ability to easily and readily change weights or resistance, the pushing, prompting, and form coaching, the change up of workouts so your not doing the same thing every day, and very importantly the camaraderie of working out in a group with everyone being friends and friendly in a no pressure atmosphere.
Yeah, you can work out on your own but V3 delivers something more.

Just moved to the area. Tried several places until I finally found V3. I come from Crossfit...and yet I feel I have been coming here for years! The class sizes are just right, meaning everyone receives a personalized workout session in a group setting. How do do that?!?! With Gregg, that’s how. Every single member is of the ut most importance. Every day is different...for those of us who enjoy and thrive in variety! But the most important piece is the humor Gregg finds at 5:50am. V3 is above and beyond my expectations.

I’ve never consistently stuck to a workout routine until V3! Gregg creates a different workout each day and really works with you no matter your starting level (and is funny and entertaining throughout)! I can't say enough great things about this gym! From the trainer, Gregg to his precious pup Baxter to the members that have made me feel welcome since day one. The workouts are awesome!
