Randy, the owner of Vbody is both degreed and certified. I totally value him, as he is a stickler for FORM ...the most important aspect of strength training. As my niece, Eshe ( also a degreed certified personal trainer says, I'm glad you are training with Randy as he is such a GREAT trainer. I train weekly with Randy and weekly on my own. Vbody is a great place to come workout in the Hyde Park area ! Randy, the owner , is always there and he is super attentive to his clientele’s needs , wants , and goals. The environment is clean , friendly , and not intimidating at all. The group classes are intense but fun , and they offer yoga and personal training sessions as well. If you are looking for a great gym and an awesome gym family , I would highly recommend giving VBody Power fitness a shot !

I have been going to VBody for two months now and i am hooked! I have been an athlete or an acid fan or working out since i was a teenager. I have been to many humans, even big maed franchise gyms that you would know well...none of them live up to this gym! First of all, the hours are great. There are classes offered in the morning, afternoons and late evening (although no classes on saturday as that is reserved for personal training.) There are also sunday afternoon classes which is great so i don't have to sacrifice the gym if i go to church in the morning. Secondly there is amplw parking. This matters!. They gym is super close to my house which is a win for me and very accessible to lake shore drive. Randy is the owner and he is very knowledgeable, professional, and yet will challenge you. He's encouraged me to push myself and i can certainly see more toneness, definition and lean muscles that i haven't seen since my track and field days in high school!

I was at point in my life where I needed to have a trainer push me too my limits. I googled boot camps and Vbody power fitness came up. I looked at several videos that was posted on the sight. I decided i want to join. I am glad i made the decision ,Randy has challenged me and comes up with unique workouts you never thought you could do. I have workout with him several months and my body has gotten stronger and I continue to loose several inches off my stomach, legs,arms and chest. The best part is when you are in a group everyone pushes each other and cheers for you when they see you struggling and giving up on yourself. I cannot thank him enough!!!

Randy is the best! I lost about 2.5 inches off my chest, 2 inches off my arms, 3.5 inches off my waist, 2 inches off my hips, 2 inches off my thighs, 4 inches off my triceps, 8 inches off my suprailliac, and 12 inches off my quads! In just about a month! I do twice a week and he is sooo flexible. Always works with my crazy schedule. And he is such a great deal too in terms of cost. I swear to God that I challenge you to find someone that is his price range in our area! I'm not even saying someone as good, I'm saying any trainer. And on top of that Randy will give you nutritional advice too! Hes always willing to listen to what you want and needs and makes good conversation too. Best parts of my week. Also what I really like is he teaches you how to work out too and he challenges me to do stuff outside our sessions too. He is willing to text to you the names of the workouts or email you stuff too, hes not all sketchy like some of those other trainers. He also showed me you can use regular stuff to work out, we dont use any fancy equipment. Randy changed my life. And I am not athletic and when I started with him I couldnt really do much at all. He went my pace while still pushing me. Hes also not awkward at all, at first I was sketched out because it was on a Groupon at first (but I bought more sessions) and it seemed kind of like a weird place (not like a fancy gym) but he had good ratings. And let me tell you they are well deserved. You are crazy to not go to randy if you need a trainer. Great guy, great work out, great results!

Randy is an incredible and knowledge trainer! With his help, I was able to accomplish more in one month than I had in 4 months training on my own. His knowledge and experience helped me train hard but safe. No new injuries even though we ramped the intensity quickly and my old injuries weren't a problem. As a former college athlete, I wanted someone I could trust to push me but make sure I was doing it the right way- that's exactly what I got with Randy. I would highly recommend him; whether you're just starting out or trying to get back to it, he can get you where you want to be.

Stay home! I mean it. Sit on your couch and remain inactive! I like my class sizes small. I like the individualized attention Randy gives participants in the class, correcting form and giving helpful suggestions to make the work out that much better. I love having the space to work - it's small and functional - so we don't need any more people. I love how creative each work out of the day is - Randy is like a mad, functional fitness scientist, every muscle group hit in one single 45 min. class. I love that I'm in my mid-40's and it's not a barrier, however, if I need alternative movements because of my bum knee Randy is unfazed and can give me an equally as effective exercise. I love that I've never gotten hurt in the 4 years I've known him because Randy is not reckless, is educated and knows what the hell he's doing. He pushes me just far enough sometimes knowing I can do more before I do. I like that he's a calm, pleasant soul, who's easy to talk to. Need a meal plan? He's got one. Protein recommendations? Check. Home work out tips? Yep. Kick ass motivational videos with him doing some ninja warrior type moves? Uh huh. So please, stay home! Or come. All are welcome and treated well. See you soon...

Vbody Power Fitness is the place to train! Randy's strength training knowledge paired with how the body naturally moves works well for me. The basics such as how to lift weights from ground level to proper positioning of legs, back & arms all to aide in avoiding injury (short & long term) are carefully explained. His circuit trainings are dynamic which help to keep sessions exciting!

I especially like that Randy equips me with instruction so that I am prepared to work out in any gym with complete confidence that I am on track to health and fitness success. I actually look forward to each of my training sessions as I steadily feel my body becoming stronger and leaner. I definitely recommend that you book an appointment with him and see for yourself!

Randy is the truth! I started going over a year ago with a friend on a Groupon and have continued since. I currently do twice a week with my fiance to get it right and get it tight for our wedding day, Randy has us dying by the end of the session. I am 3 weeks in to our new routine and already see a HUGE difference. What I think is most important is he does exercises you can take with you and incorporate in your normal gym routine, as well gives you a full meal plan to get your body looking amazing. I have some way to go before I am Miami ready for my upcoming vacation, but I know with Randy on my side I will be there in no time.
