Parking situation is horrible. I will not sign my kids up to return here again due to this. Many other facilities in the area offer a better setup for parents to watch and have adequate parking.

Not a great facility. Crowded, loud, terrible seating, dirty bathrooms, courts were slippery. Temperature about 58 degrees. Bad place for basketball. Avoid it if you can.

This is our relatively new, AWFUL neighbor. The only way to get to this facility is through our Riverbend neighborhood. Cars consistently SPEED through and park in our guest spots. Iβve almost been hit walking my dog twice in the past 16 months. We have children who play and ride their bikes through our small subdivision and I fear that one of them will be hit. A few of our HOA members have tried to talk to the management. When I went to ask them to help us create a safer more respectful space I was met with rudeness and arrogance. I was told that it wasnβt their problem.
We have had to contact the county because they do NOT clean up from their patrons who throw garbage wherever. It blows into the ponds we have and makes itβs way into the branch of the DuPage River. The actual building itself was well maintained when run by the previous occupants, but now itβs becoming an eye sore. Itβs embarrassing to Lisle, the Arboretum Village.
I hope that in the future, the management will become willing to work with/be respectful that their business runs right through our small neighborhood.

Crowded. Horrible traffic flow and parking outside. Horrible traffic flow of people inside. Always running late. I hate having to come here. I'd literally rather drink a little bit of my pee. Not a full mouthful, but like what you get from the first sip of gas station coffee. Which, coincidentally, probably has a little pee in it.

No senior discount. All the other Sports Complexes offer Senior discount. Not this one, they want full price even if you are in your 60's, 70's and 80's. When I was there last month, I noticed there were only three seniors at my grandsons game, me, my grandson's other grandpa (we came together), and one other older gentleman. I mentioned that to some of the parents from my grandson's team. One of the moms said, her parents come to all the games except when they play here. My grandson's other grandpa and I decided we would do the same. I have 8 grandkids, 3 that play club basketball. One had two games there today. These two grandpa's didn't go. Our granddaughter has two games tomorrow at Romeoville Athletic Center. She played there a few weeks ago. Seniors get $5 off (that was awesome). The complex in Aurora gives $2 off. The complex in Plainfield gives $2 off. Its a shame that the one in Lisle doesn't want Seniors at their facility.

Place was probably nice when it first open, but now is a total dump. Hey hereβs idea clean the bathrooms once in awhile!! Also, please hire a maintenance person as many items need to be fixedβ¦β¦Scoreboards, seats, holes in walls. I could go on.
The place also charges $8 bucks to get in with no seniors discount. Ridiculous . Hope we donβt have to play here again.

Clean and nice. Basketball team wasnβt the best sons coach only showed for games not practices. And they charge too much for watching your kids play 7$ compared to the usual 5$ at all other facilities (which is ridiculous too seeing youβre paying almost 1k for you kid to play already)

This used to be a great summer basketball camp. It was well-run, organized and effective in coaching young players. Unfortunately, now it is more like glorified babysitting. No coaching/instruction individual children or teaching them how to improve. Some campers with poor behavior/ sportsmanship were not corrected. Children that came in with big dreams and a great love for basketball told that they aren't good enough. Who does that to a child? Save your time and money. This place is all hype now.

I wish I could give more stars but this overpriced place an extremely far at least for me to pay almost a 1000 dollars an then drive 1 hour an half 3 days a week to find out that they actually let anyone who pays on the team in fact trying out is a senseless! You pay you play !!! Then they it kids who are in 5 grade in with 8 th just because they parent works there not fair to my son or the team !!! Then to let the 4 or 5 th grader get more play time then the actual 8 th graders is overwhelming sad !!!! Donβt waste your money itβs not worth it ever since the head guy passed away it all went downhill.

One of the few places in town for indoor batting cages and baseball facilities. The features themselves are good - turf, plenty of space, an area with room for two "bullpens." The only downside is the booking/scheduling process. The website is OK but I usually have to pick up the phone to make sure things go through properly, which is kind of inconvenient. All told, Bulls/Sox is solid.

For the price and what you get, just buy bulls tickets. My nephew saw a few (still not enough) bells and whistles, but learned nothing. The camp is far to crowded to have any type of real time with coaches, which are not Bulls players 99.9% of the time. Two Bulls players stopped in during the week, but didn't do any real teaching. If you want the kids to see Bulls players, go to a game. If you want them to learn the game of basketball, pass on this camp...

What a blast! My son and I had an awesome, memorable experience together. The number of participants was very controllable and allowed each participant to have extended time at each station that was set up. Being on a major league field doing baseball activities was something I had always wanted to do, but never had a chance.
I will definitely participate in this event again next year, so please make it happen!

Absolutely the most amazing night!!!! My son will never forget it! The academy staff was AMAZING, and SOOO nice! Kids even got to hit in the batters box, WHAT?! Yep, that's right!! While it was very laid back, there were PLENTY of structured things to do.
Loved that there were some previous players, but it's too bad that the current players cant understand the impact they can make in a young child's life. Really? What is an hour or two of your time? Remember when you were a young kid, playing local ball? Maybe with all that money you've forgotten? That's too bad...my son said if he made the major leagues, he'll never forget where he came from.

WE LOVE THE BULLS/SOX ACADEMY!!!! My 7-yr-old son participated in the Tony Kukoc basketball summer camp and a basketball camp through our park district before that. We can't recommend it enough. It's professional, organized, age appropriate, encouraging, fun, and the kids truly learn life, success, and motivational lessons that stick! They even work respect in. We have to drive 35 miles to the Lisle location, but I will do it again and again. We are so pleased, 110%, with our experiences and look forward to trying the Sox part of the academy and a long relationship with the organization for years to come! If you're wondering whether or not to do it, DO IT!!

My son signed up for the Toni Kukoc Basketball Camp, and it was a great experience. The facility was well managed, the courts were squeaky clean, and the coaches and staff were very talented basketball players as well as being a coach. In the camp, they worked on the fundamental skills and also performed drills. The woman at the information desk was very helpful and patient. Aside from basketball, the facility had good air conditioning, big TVs to watch the World Cup, as well as popcorn, hot dogs, and Gatorade available for purchase. I am really pleased with the experience at the Bull/Sox Academy. My only problem is the location. I live in Chicago, and it is a 50 minute drive to the facility. If the Bulls and White Sox both play in Chicago, why is their academy located in Lisle? Weird.

Bulls/Sox Academy has been a fantastic experience for our family. Aside from the very impressive facility, our 7 year old has been to 8-10 month long camps and one of the summer camps. After each camp he asks when the next one starts. The coaches know him by name and once he became proficient for his age, they tried to challenge him by making him run drills with kids older than him. We have two more boys and it is safe to say they'll all be attending camps when they're the right age.
Also, the summer camp w/ the UC experience. It's a week long and included is a tour of the United Center at a later date during the NBA season. What a great time and something my son will remember forever (as will I.)

Over the past 4 years, our boys have attended various baseball camps, clinics, and private lessons. Overall, our experiences have been great! The boys have learned a lot and definitely improved.
From our experience, the summer camps are going to be large groups of kids like any typical camp. We find these are camps best for kids when they are younger. For older kids (near middle school age) we use the camps as a way to keep em playing after the season is over and to get ready for fall ball or fall travel tryouts. Once your son starts to really become more serious, absolutely check out private lessons. The key here is consistency. 1 or 2 lessons for the younger set are fine to help them learn a technique, but once they are older they really need consistent instruction to keep things solid and only occasional lessons can actually hurt more then help - as we have found. The more advanced camps are great too.

Very, very disapppointed .. signed up for the Ball Handling Camp thinking my son would get special tips on how to improve his game. Instead, we just spent over a month where he was one of over 50 kids just running basic drills as a group. There was NO individual instruction at any point! Most of the time, the instructors just walked around totally disinterested and more busy dribbling a ball or talking with each other than giving any of the kids any individual attention. The worst? At the end of the camp, my son got a "scouting report" that was basically entirely generic and flagged several skills as "needs improvement" with the recommendation to take more classes! My son was crushed, and his first words to me was that the coaches didn't even know his name! Other than the totally awesome gym and Bulls setting, this camp was a complete waste :( Save your money and go to any of the other camps out there as this was a joke.
