Clean and cozy studio with a great community!
I especially love the strength classes. They even lead free yoga at the park as well as pop-up wellness offerings, themed classes for the full moon, and really cool events such as DOOM yoga.
Beyond the space and lockers, there’s a tea library, kitchenette, treatment rooms, reservable spaces, restrooms, cute gift shop, and more.

Reiki with Olga is always a great experience. I schedule a session with her whenever my nervous system needs a serious reset. I am amazed with Olga’s ability to understand what I need. I leave feeling relaxed and lighter.

Loveeeee this place! Hosted a private soundbath & restorative yoga class for my friends as a casual birthday event. Could not have been happier with how peaceful & relaxing the day was or how accommodating & communicative the WL team was. The space, the team, & their offerings are the best

I’ve been a Wildlight member for over 2 years and it’s exciting to see the community steadily grow and improve, including new workshops, as well as expanding ambitions of its teachers. Thankful to have such a special place in my neighborhood.

I’m still pretty new to yoga but have enjoyed the classes I have taken so far. The space is very nice and the instructors have been great. I look forward to branching out into different classes as I get more confident.

A wonderful, welcoming, vibrant, neighborhood yoga community!
I came across Wildlight with a google search and started with an Adventure Month (1 month of unlimited classes for a discount). I joined as a full time member after about 2 weeks. I was drawn in by their mission, vision, and values and stayed for the easy to approach classes, friendly & knowledgable teachers, and a calendar of additional offerings such as workshops, reiki, retreats, and community gatherings.
Wildlight is located on the 3rd floor loft space, there are two studios equipped with all the props you need (you can bring your own too), a lovely tea library, a shop, and co-working stations.
Many pricing options available to new members & drop-ins. I highly recommend trying an adventure month!
Photos shared are from a retreat, workshop, and sound bath.

This studio is a real gem! From the very beginning I felt welcome, comfortable, and valued. The staff is very nice, helpful, and chill. Did an adventure month, was so pleased I became a member. It's been over a year and I'm still happy attending classes there. Highly recommended!

I love this space and the community sense with the small shop and co working space. The yoga studio is large and natural light makes it calming. They have nice equipment to share along with a tea collection! Highly recommend coming to check this yoga studio out. They are committed to being good stewards of our community.

I had no experience with yoga and was a bit timid when I initially reached out to tour the studio, and I was very quickly won over by the amazing instructors and community at Wildlight! I started with an "Adventure Month" to try a few different types of classes out, was quickly hooked, and signed up for an annual membership! They are immensely supportive of new members, providing all the equipment you need in the studio for classes, have Zoom available for remote attendees to their classes, and a really neat shop with props for home use, clothing, books, and accessories. Finally, I really like some of the individual workshops they host, including yoga mythology, shadow work, and an awesome DOOM yoga session. STRONGLY recommend checking out if you're in the area!!

Wildlight Yoga is my Happy Place!
I have been a member for a few years now, and I’ve watched the studio Blossom.
The community is so welcoming, kind, and friendly. If you have been practicing for a long time or if you’re brand new, don’t hesitate to come to a class. The teachers will meet you at your skill level. Wildlight offers a variety of class types so you can try something new until you find the style that fits you.
There is also a good selection of events. These are fun experiences that allow you to explore different areas of yoga, like a sound bath! Which I highly recommend…

Wildlight Yoga is a safe haven for those seeking to gain knowledge about their body, mind, spirit and the overall yoga practice and lifestyle. The studio offers a variety of classes from varying yoga disciplines and has knowledgeable teachers who keep body mechanics and safety a number one priority. Wildlight hosts many events that are related to yoga as well as other spiritual and mindfulness based practices. The studio itself is welcoming, warm, community focused and accepting of people from any background, ethnicity, orientation, age and body shape. I especially appreciate the offering of at least one gentle or yin yoga practice every day!

I have called Wildlight Yoga my yoga home for the past 1 1/2 years. I was searching for a yoga studio that not only offered a variety of yoga practices but also provided me with a sense of harmony and community. I have fount that in Wildlight. The space is beautiful and Zen. I am filled with feelings of peace and love as soon as I step into the space. The members are all so warm and inviting. The teachers are wonderful, knowlegable, and relatable. I never feel pushed to attain a certain pose but always feel supported and guided to listen to my body as I approach the poses. Wildlight offers a number of workshops throughout the year. If you have never had a Sound Bath, you must try one. I cannot even describe the sensations and healing that happens to me during this amazing session. Wildlight's yoga retreat adventure to Belize that I attended last year was one of the most profound experiences I ever had. I feel blessed to be a member of Wildlight. Thanks to the owner Kelli and all the yoga teachers who have beautiful souls who help me tap into my inner peace. If you are looking for the best yoga studio in Northwest Chicago, try our home at Wildlight. We welcome you and honor you.

I found my people! I love this yoga studio. I’ve taken classes at many studios, but this is the first time I decided to become a member. The instructors are amazing! Everyone is a little different. I started out thinking “this person is my favorite,” but soon realized they are all my favorites. Every class is unique! The studio leans a little hippie dippy which makes my heart happy. I love that you come as you are. Zero expectations. You don’t have to show up in fancy yoga gear. You just have to show up. Namaste 🙏🏼

I was a Wildlight fangirl long before I joined the community officially in early 2023. I have been inspired from the start by the mission, vision, and values of the studio, along with all the creative ways Wildlight has worked to build community. I bought a prop pack for home practice early in the pandemic and found myself keeping an eye on the way the studio has grown and evolved over time.
The expansion the studio space was my call to become more involved, both as staff, as a community member and more recently as a yoga teacher in-training.
Wildlight offers community engagement at all levels—from the 8 different styles of yoga classes, to events and workshops, trainings, healing sessions for self discovery and even retreats. Wildlight is building bridges for connection, healing, and adventure through and through.
I recommend this studio to any curious soul who is looking for a place where your presence is honored, regardless of where you are in your journey. There is a space for you on the mat and in the community to learn from the spiritual practices that have impacted those who hold space there.
It’s a place where you will always feel welcomed and appreciated. There are many entry points for people, the classes are inclusive and trauma informed (which is really important to me) and there are equitable options which promote accessibility.
In short, this is a woman owned + run studio and worthy of supporting!

Wildlight is such a lovely place. Everyone there is so kind, welcoming, and generous.
They offer a wide array of yoga and meditation classes and are doing some really cool things with their space to build community. I really appreciate that many of their yoga classes are slower paced and they really help you focus on your own practice and connecting with your body.
I love the shop with interesting artists and second hand yoga gear. The studio is big and bright and always clean and has such a warm inviting vibe with plants and a community altar! Plus, they have offices you can work at and it seems like such a cozy and relaxing space to work in.
They host really cool events as well!

Im so glad I found Wildlight yoga, it truly is a community for all!! After doing yoga off and on for years, I finally found a studio that I feel really connected with in my practice. Everyone from the staff to the members are so incredibly welcoming. Not one ounce of pretension, you really can “come as you are” anytime you’re there. I’ve found Wildlight to be a real safe space as I’ve been navigating some heavy personal stuff this year. The instructors always offer modifications to make anyone’s practice comfortable. Their vibe is more about intentionally connecting with yourself/your body than just getting in a typical “workout”. Lots of great breath work and many class types to choose from. Another perk is that they livestream ALL their classes on Zoom! It’s not just a library of videos, you’re at home participating in a live class and it almost feels as if you’re there in-person. They do really awesome events and sound-baths too. 12/10 would recommend Wildlight!

I've joined about 6 month ago and really like the community, instructors, studio and classes. Every instructor is a bit different so every class, even if it's the same style, feels different. The studio is cozy and to me the instructors are very in tune with the participants abilities. The language used is welcoming and inclusive, this is important to me as a newbie in a body that doesn't fit the "mold". I feel very encouraged to try everything and learn something new pretty much every class.

I have been searching for a yoga home for years, and finally found it! I’ve never been a member of a yoga studio before, and after taking classes here for a few months I had zero hesitation in becoming a member. They offer all types of yoga classes and all of the teachers are amazing! I’ve also had the pleasure of attending two of Wildlight’s yoga retreats and highly recommend them!

My first time taking a yoga class, I attended at the reopening back in April. It was a great first impression! Kelli and her Sister were the ones who ran the class and provide excellent methods and visualization descriptions to acknowledge your own breathing properly. Very structured and great creativity!

I came upon Wildlight through their generous FREE yoga classes at the Jefferson Park Farmers Market this summer.
A rainy Sunday a few weeks back helped introduce me to their brick and mortar, which then lead me to join for the Sound Bath they hosted just yesterday.
Wonderful space, teachers, community, vibe. I can tell they're going to help me flow through the winter this year, I'll be starting with their well-priced Adventure Pass in November to try all their classes and offerings.

One star because it was a good practice I used up a 10 pack class & I specifically liked 12 noon class Mon & Fri. I purchase another 10-pack with my income tax return right before the covid shut down businesses but was only able to attend to 1 class. I e-mail Kelli Wefenstette asking for my money back right after all businesses were shut down but I patiently waited until the studio would reopen and see what would happen as she suggested. After the studio opened in Sep I no longer live in the Chicago area & I had many reasons not to continue taking what she offered. She did not care to listen and did not give me many options when I ask for my money back once again, she said No and was not nice at all. My other point also was that During the lockdown this place did not offer anything. I was able to exercise during the lockdown via live videos on Instagram with Brian Gray yoga and his wife and Runaway Fitness Chicago the offered FREE classes live with variety of choices. Basically My argument was that the policy had been modified and terms and conditions are different now then when I purchased my 10 pack classes. I did not want to be forced to take classes in the conditions and in the way that classes were offered, where they were offered and times that were available.
2nd Star is for ....the reimbursement!
Thank you.
* It proves my point the lengthy respond of the owner how she continues to prove herself to be correct. Well she is not there is no wrong information here but the truth. The contract that I was on was different then the one When re-open THE MASK wearing was not in place NOR ON LINE class wich I would never had bought 10 pack with that option. As her stubbornness is reflected here that's how exactly she treated me. Rude. Now she wants to communicate. Who can enjoy walking in that place for the wrong reasons. Covid had everything to do with this matter. I Took the other star out for suggesting I misinformed. At least you yogies out there have a choice to think about now ....does she project a peaceful environment (?) 🤔

Wildlight Yoga is an essential addition to the Jeff/Portage Park area and a crucial community hub. It's a welcoming space for all practices, bodies, and fitness levels. Each instructor brings their own advantages and the space is peaceful and comfortable. There's no place on the Northwest Side that I'd rather practice. Try it once and you'll be hooked!

I've been to a few yoga studios’ that were all a bit stuffy and made me feel extremely self-conscious with my lack of skills on the mat. After my first class at Wildlight Yoga, I was instantly in-love with the studio. From the clientele to the instructors, EVERYONE is supportive and encouraging. Immediately walking into Wildlight, the experience is emotional & mentally clarifying. I never really understood how that could be, but when you take the time to surround yourself with people who care, in an environment that is safe & pure it can be achieved. Take the time to do something wonderful for yourself and visit Wildlight Yoga for a class or one of the amazing workshops they offer, you deserve it!
