I haven't joined a gym in many years! This gym is the best! You may pay a few dollars more, (not a lot) but you get what you pay for! 517 is personable, caring, very well equipped, and you don't have to stand in line for a machine. They have the latest machines/equipment, tanning, stretch area, a variety of beverages, protein snacks, pre-workout, merch, and even prepped meals!! I am on the road to a better and healthier life. You can buy a day pass, 3 months, 6 months, or more. Feels like a private experience where you are not bothered, judged, or pressured. (24hr access) You're not locked into a contract or hidden fees! Ask for Ryan and go give it a chance! Make sure you ask about personal training to fit your needs 💪.

Great gym! I've been a member for several years and like the fact that you can pretty much use any equipment without much of a wait, if any. Not like bigger gyms where you have to wait and search for what you need. Staff is great, especially Ryan and Mel. Top-notch personal trainers who have years of experience training others and themselves along with extensive knowledge in training for fitness competitions.
Good variety of equipment; machines, weights, straps, blocks, foam rollers, bosu, physio, and medicine balls.
The atmosphere is laid back. The members who workout here are friendl as well. . As a woman, I feel comfortable working out in this gym.

517 Fitness is the perfect small town gym. It has every equipment I need for an amateur bodybuilder. The workers are always accommodating with my requests. I’ve gotten to know a lot of the other members. It’s become my home away from home. One of the main draw to 517 is that it isn’t overly crowded (sans traditional peak times). I love the vibe. I have never been to a gym like 517 Fitness! I’ve been working here since January 2022 and the team is amazing! We offer 24/7 access when you sign up for a membership and it is very affordable (we have month-to-month and pay-in-full options). We also offer tanning, fitness classes and personal training. If you’re looking for a fun, friendly and not very busy gym then definitely come in for a day pass! My boyfriend and I love working out here. 😊

In truth, their individual pricing is a tiny bit steep, but the couples and family plan pricing is good. Even as an individual, the amount of accessories they have and the specialty bars they have are phenomenal and make up for it. Best safety squat bar in town from any gym I've seen so far. The staff is great too, and the products they've been getting in are too notch. I do wish that they had larger clothing sizes, but they just sell out so fast! One of the best gyms in town if you are looking for no nonsense, straight up lifting. Plenty of cardio equipment as well, and they do have some classes, but I've never taken any. I would expect they are great as well though!

Yeah, the gym has some history, good and bad, but today I got my membership back and it feels great to be back !

No showers. Water fountain hardly works. Bathroom lights don't stay on long. Saw someone come in and the only employee was in the back working out so they had to walk all the way back there to get help. Lack of professionalism. There are rules hung up- which are passive aggressive- but every time I go in someone is breaking one rule or another. The equipment is nice but the management seems to be lacking.
