Been trying to cancel my membership for months, left several messages, they're still charging our account, won't call back. They owe us several hundred dollars.

The coaches do a great job teaching the kids gently while also maintaining a high level of expectations. The facility is clean and well maintained. It's a great spot to find community. The only negative is parking!

An amazing place, learn to do handstands here!!!

Please get a bike rack, you dont have any options around to lock bikes yet you're surrounded by bike infrastructure with mass ave, the monon, cultural trail. go in with the coffee shop if its too much for the smaller place.

I cant go back until you fix this, as I need to have a safe place to put a bike. :(

I’ve had the pleasure of training at Cirque Indy for the past few months, and I can confidently say it has been a transformative and exhilarating experience. As someone new to the world of aerial gymnastics, I was welcomed with open arms and guided every step of the way by the incredibly talented and supportive team at Cirque Indy.

From the moment I stepped into the studio, I felt a sense of community and excitement. The facility is well-equipped, clean, and provides a safe environment to learn and grow in aerial acrobatics. Each class is thoughtfully structured, ensuring that everyone, regardless of their skill level, can progress and achieve their goals.

Mary, the owner and aerial coach, is a remarkable leader. Her passion for aerial arts is infectious, and she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to every class. Mary’s dedication to her students’ growth and well-being is evident in her teaching style, which is both encouraging and challenging. She has a unique ability to push her students to reach their potential while ensuring they feel supported and confident in their abilities.

A special shoutout to Emily Zucker, my Aerial Silks instructor, who introduced me to Cirque Indy. Emily is not only a phenomenal aerialist but also a wonderful person. Her enthusiasm and expertise in aerial silks are truly inspiring. Emily’s classes are a perfect blend of rigorous training and fun, making each session something to look forward to. Her patience and personalized attention have been instrumental in my progress, and I’m grateful for her guidance.

Cirque Indy is more than just a place to learn aerial gymnastics; it’s a community of passionate and kind individuals who support and uplift each other. I highly recommend Cirque Indy to anyone interested in exploring the world of aerial arts. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced aerialist, you’ll find a welcoming home and exceptional training here.

I’m excited to continue my aerial journey with Cirque Indy and I hope more people discover their own.

Visited Cirque out of curiosity. The instructors are great, the class is very fun, they make sure to make you feel comfortable and welcome. The studio is very nice, and they offer a wide variety of classes. You should definitely if you are looking to do a different type of activity.

My first time going to a fabrics' class and what a fun experience! I've seen aerial silk performances before, and I admire the skill... it's definitely a skill that requires training.
My personal motto is "live4noregrets" and as I've always wanted to see what aerial silks was like so I followed through- I will go back for more.
I am definitely a rookie but wasn't treated like one; the instructors and class participants are encouraging and knowledgeable ☺️ I'm also glad the instructor had us do stretching beforehand as I know muscles were used that hadn't been activated in awhile πŸ˜† Parking can be a bit confusing but after asking for information, learning to park in the fenced in lot at the edge of Fulton Street, and getting a parking pass, I no longer worried about my car being towed. Highly recommend Cirque Indy.

My friend Morgan and I joined this community after dropping out of high school! We learned how to be true clowns while looking mighty fine. I loveeeeeeeeeeee using the fabrics to show my craft. I learned math and science wasn't for me. #keepwomenoutofstem #stayathome #bringcovidback

If you are looking for a fun, safe, and incredibly tough workout in an inclusive and welcoming environment, look no further! I started at Cirqueindy almost two years ago, with no flexibility or upper body strength to speak of, and now can easily do a pull up, am way more flexible, and have found my community in Indianapolis.

Cirqueindy classes are generally an hour long and begin with a full body warm up, followed by time on the apparatus, then a cool down. They take safety very seriously there: the floor in the main room is padded and mats are always used.

But what I love best about Cirqueindy is its inclusivity. This is a body positive space: workouts are about making you feel good, not meet some ideal weight or calorie count. As you improve, you can think on how you want to grow as an aerial artist.

Also, the price is a steal: I’ve since taken aerial classes in other states and let me tell you, we have it very good here! Yes, this is a more expensive workout than a standard gym or a free jog in the park, but sometimes, you may be the only student in class: always, the equipment is provided to you for free.

The biannual student showcases are fun as well: lately, the gym has had more professional shows and community nights open to all. I cannot recommend checking out Cirqueindy highly enough!

What a fun place! My daughter's gymnastics team came here for a team bonding event -- we booked a private party for 10 girls. They loved it! They had a great instructor that coached the 8/9 year old girls from basic skills to more advanced skills within 1 hour.

The place is clean, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the staff is really friendly, helpful, compassionate, and passionate about what they do. Keep up the great work everyone!
Kid and adult classes are offered. Not sure if they do aerial yoga, may need to call in or check their schedule on MindBody Online or the website. I know contortion classes and other workshops are offered, so stay tuned for workshop schedules.
Unless there has been an update, these are the types of apparati (apparatuses?) Cirque Indy works on: lyra (hard), trapeze (hard with soft components), silks (soft), hammock (soft).
Hope this all helps!

Tried the silks class before covid and the flexibility class during.
Silks intro was very informative and would be nice for a bachlorette party or something simular.
Flexibility was unexpected, I was thinking something closer to yoga, but it's really what the name alludes to. It was very hard, but I am able to get closer to my split than ever before.

I cannot stress how much I love this place. The staff is so amazing, accommodating, and nice. I have been taking classes for almost a year and a half and I love it. They do a great job with containing Covid and the place is well taken care of. If you don’t want to take classes they also do other events such as a birthday parties, bachelorette parties and more. Also are located right near Mass Ave so you can go on a nice walk there too.

I went to an intro class and really enjoyed it! Ended up getting a basic membership to try it out, though it was a little pricey. I mostly took classes with Amanda and she was great!

Unfortunately when I decided to cancel my membership I had a horrible experience. I went online a week before my subscription renewed because I knew all memberships were auto renew. There was no cancellation button or instructions. I clicked around on all the pages and couldn't locate anything that said cancel. Ultimately I decided I would remove my credit card information so the charge couldn't process. The website wouldn't allow me to remove the numbers without entering a new card. I called Cirque Indy but they only have a voicemail that the recording says is checked twice a week, I left a message.

The following week my card was charged the $80 and again I contacted Cirque Indy via voicemail and this time also email. I received a response from the owner via email that customers are expected to be responsible for their own renewals and this was not the business' responsibility. I explained that I tried to cancel but there were no instructions, I couldn't locate a cancel button or remove my card information. She offered only partial repayment. I asked for full repayment since I would not be attending any classes and did my due diligence to attempt to cancel my subscription. I suggested instructions for cancellation be added to the receipt and the website moving forward.

Ultimately she would only refund half of my money saying it was a burden to offer repayment, which I don't understand because if she could offer $40, she could offer the full $80 just as easily. I'm out $40 for absolutely nothing, my membership has been cancelled so I can't attend anything for it, and unfortunately will not be interested in attending again based on the way I was treated.

I’ve been coming here for four months now and it’s been a great experience. I was coming off of a serious injury when I started and the staff was very accommodating. Since then I have greatly increased my strength and flexibility while having fun the whole time. You know you always wanted to run off and join the circus so come here.

Looks a little sketchy on the outside, and none of the staff greeted us when we walked in or told us what to do to get checked in or where to wait for our class. Our introductory class was very fun, safe, and the instructor was kind, encouraging, accomodating, and made sure we packed as much into our time as we could. The groupon deal makes the intro class only $9, which is a steal for the experience.

I found a Groupon for the intro class and wanted to try it out. I fell in love with it and am thinking about getting a basic membership. I will be trying out a few more classes over the next week before I decide! I am not flexible and haven’t worked out in quite some time, but they didn’t make me feel uncomfortable about it at all. Everyone in the class was at totally different skill levels and we all laughed and had fun together.

Be prepared to ARRIVE EARLY for parking!! It’s downtown, surrounded my multiple apartment buildings. Most of the parking spaces require a pass. Look for the striped door and you’re set!

So much fun! I went to an intro class where you learn some basics and a few really cool tricks like an inversion. At first it seemed like you would need some insane upper body strength but that's not the case if you're worried- a lot of it is balancing your weight on the fabrics; it will test some of your grip strength though! One of their intro classes would be an awesome group event idea. Parking is not that great but there's a gravel lot a block away where you can park; the instructor made it very clear that parking at the Circa apartments would get you towed. Throw on some workout clothes and give it a try!

I loved my first class there! I took an intro to aerial silks class, and I'm hooked! Definitely going back for more classes. My instructor was great and she made it easy to jump right on the silks and feel like a rock star!

They also have hoops (maybe officially called Lyra?) and trapeze. I can't wait to try all the different things!

One tip I have is that they're kind of hard to find. Google maps took me to the right spot, but I didn't see their building until I called. Look for the red and cream striped door on the East side of the street. That's the main entrance door. They could use slighly better signage, but once you've been there once, you're good to go!

Also, parking was a little confusing because the spots closest were by permit only. Plan to get there a little early in case you need to search for parking or call them to get instructions for where to park.

Anyway, I highly recommend CirqueIndy. If you've ever thought about trying silks or trapeze, give them a try!
