I've been taking classes here for almost a month now, and I've enjoyed every single one! The classes are inviting and approachable, and everyone has been so welcoming. They have equipment, like mats and blocks, if you don't have any, and the wide variety of teachers and classes means you can find the perfect class and style for your needs. They even offer live stream classes for the days you can't make it into the studio. I HIGHLY reccomend you check out Community Yoga here in Lafayette if you're looking to get into yoga or wanting to start low impact workouts.

I have only stayed in Lafayette for two months, but during this time I took over 60 classes (both yoga and pilates), and now I can honestly say Community Yoga changed me and directed me towards the path of self love and acceptance. The atmosphere, great teachers, and the feeling of belonging gave me purpose when I needed it. I can’t decide which class I’ve liked the most - I’ve loved them all! Jacqueline’s classes were both challenging and fun, Betsy’s always made me feel welcome in the studio and energized after, during Cookie’s Friday practice I’ve focused on reaching peace with my inner self, Julie’s classes made me relaxed and calm, Morgan’s practice showed me impossible is nothing (even if it means holding a crow pose!) and Angie’s attitude made me push myself and thanks to her I focused both on my strength and keeping my body in symmetry (which has been my focus ever since!). Thank you to all the teachers, yogis and classmates, I am very grateful I could share this transformational time with you all. I totally recommend going to this studio!

The Singing Bowl class is really worth doing. It's great for practicing mindful relaxation and perhaps even creating a new routine for those who struggle to get a good night's sleep.

Great class lineup for reasonable prices. Angie is the best instructor I've had for anything, even beyond pilates.

Many thanks to Jacquline and Community Yoga. After an event of debilitating back pain, my primary care physician recommended I try yoga therapy and I found Community Yoga! Jacqueline listened to me and carefully crafted exercises that met me at the strength level I was at. Slowly, over many months of increasingly challenging exercises, I developed a stronger core and my chronic back pain was relieved.
5 years out, I continue to use many of the same exercises Jacqueline gave me, and I credit her care with helping me to control my back issues.
I highly recommend Community Yoga, Jacqueline, and yoga therapy for those who are experiencing back pain.

Katie was welcoming and friendly and the class was wonderful. I haven't practiced yoga in quite awhile, and I felt very comfortable in her class. And the studio was filled with light.

Now more than ever we need the benefits of yoga. Always happy to take a class at Community Yoga whether it be in person or via Zoom. You can stay socially distanced and still practice yoga with your Community Family.

Loved the class. One of the most peaceful and uplifting gifts I have given myself. Can't wait to go back. The class has that unique ability to attract both beginners and seasoned practitioners of Yoga. The instructor provides a variety of poses so the beginner doesn't feel left out.

I loved how welcoming Katie was to all of us, especially in the craziness of Christmas Eve in a wonderfully packed room! Her message really made me think- we're all here to walk each other home❤️

At 73 was a little cautious about going to a Hot Yoga class that was beyond my endurance . . . or balance. Was delighted to 4 or 5 different classes that promote Mindfulness and Being In The Moment.
