We had a golf event at Coyote and really appreciated the helpful staff! Maureen was especially kind and available for questions and assistance throughout our time. It's a beautiful course and it was a wonderful place for our fundraiser.

Beautiful course and layout. I enjoyed it more than Ackerman as it was more challenging and gorgeous. Very friendly staff. Too bad no one fixes their divot and ball marks here

Very beautiful course. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. This course is as nice as the Purdue courses, but it has the superior staff. Well worth the price to play here.

New member and loving it all so far. Quiet little spot that isnβt talked about enough. Highly recommend if youβre a player looking for a high quality course with non of the log jams you get caught in at other clubs.
Iβm hopeful that the club is in great hands and headed for even greater things. Come join us!

The course was lovely. Our experience was great up until we got told that we could not drive on the green which we only did this once. This would not have been such a bad thing if there hadn't been a ton of other people doing it

While a little pricey, the course is absolutely beautiful and kept in very good condition even for fall. Is just a little behind Kampen imo, but since Kampen is now members only, for me is the nicest public course in the Lafayette area

A little slice of paradise. Canβt recommend Coyote enough - from the staff, to the clubhouse menu, to the course conditions, theyβre constantly raising the bar.

Always enjoy this course and one of my favorites until yesterday. Not sure what is going on but all the bunkers were filled with water and down to the liners. Tons of rocks and mud in them. Greens and t boxes beat up. Hope they figure it out and get the course back on track.

Coyote Crossing is a very beautiful course and challenging in its own way, with incredible staff members. None the less a great place to enjoy golf and I would like to also recognize Matt Kay
I can attest to this myself of the magnitude of impact and skill Matt Kay brings Iβve had only a few lessons and has helped my golf game drastically. He is such a down to earth, easy to get along with ,patient and very knowledgeable in his skill setβ¦ it has shown and then reflected in me in just a short period of time. Most importantly he is able to tailor the lesson to you: including your swing and personality making it a very personable experience instead of a standard lesson across the board. I would highly recommend him to be your golf coach/ person you get lessons as I am speaking from personal past experiences in getting lessons over the years from other professionals and not getting anywhere near the experience you get with Matt and for way more money.

I used to play Coyote Crossing all the time back when the rates were reasonable. This is not a $100 plus golf course. When inquiring recently about rates it was explained that the rates vary all during the day and days of the week depending on how full the tee sheet is. I've been playing golf for a long time and I've never heard of such nonsense. It was explained that they can reach the $110 range. Again this is not a $110 course. I wanted to bring some friends from out of town to play there, but that won't be happening with these ridiculous rates.

I gave this course three stars because it appears to be filled with a lot of self entitled "members" who feel that they can play a 6 some and to hell with anyone else on the course. Otherwise layout and conditioning are very good. Food is good, but kitchen was slow on the day we played.

Course is beautiful, challenging, and in great shape. Much of the course cuts through forest and many of the holes demand an accurate tee shot. Finished in 3.5 hours despite waiting for at least a few minutes each hole.

My experience 9/21/2022... nice course layout. Over watered, mud balls and we have not had rain in days. Staff was rude and not knowledgeable. My vehicle was damaged in the parking lot and they did nothing to help. The exact opposite really. And they know why! Good thing a couple of members were finishing up playing at the time, so the deputy sheriff could do the interview. Will be my first and only time playing this course.

The course is great, condition is fine, greens are true. Only reason I dinged it is because some clown drove a mower at me all the way down the 18th hole. Nothing worse than paying for people's livelihoods and they don't show you any courtesy when your playing.

First time playing here. Drove up from Indianapolis. Heard good things about the course. Played on a cooler day with lots of cloud cover late in November. The course is in great shape and loved the design layout. A great challenging course. I have to rank this as a top 5 public course in Indiana. All staff were very friendly. Will need to come back when it's a bit warmer and more daylight. Highly recommend this beautiful track!

Played you golf course last week, was very impressed with the course, the greens were very challenging and fast, I know because of the lack of rain the course was very firm, but being for Arizona I am used to a firm and fast track. I would compare them to the course I play out here called southern dunes, in Maricopa Airzona. you have a gem there, if your looking for a fairly hard course, I recommend this track, I look forward to playing again when I visit Indiana again.

A very bad experience, donβt ever take a beginner to the course. Matt Craft the βassistant professionalβ came up to my family and asked βwhat are you guys doingβ and confused we answered what do you mean????? He kicked us off the course and got very rude and vulgar with the family. He said we did not have enough clubs and told us we were not allowed to be on the course anymore. We were 5 holes in, paid for 18 and we spent 150 dollars. Brent Williams was very kind and took care of the problem. All in all, will never go back.
Matt craft had a very rude demeanor. Will not be returning strictly because of him.

Layout of the course was fantastic. The course conditions were terrible with greens lacking grass with just green dust to fill it. Problem with the fringes and look like cut down weeds from my backyard. Also a lot of areas lacking grass just off the greens where rough should be and had to move my ball a few times so I can hit off of grass. For 65 bucks not worth the price and I would not suggest anyone play this course.

the staff was very friendly! i enjoyed my time there. the greens were a little rough tho, they had some patches of dead grass and for some reason no one knows how to repair ball marks or spike marks. besides that the course is in great shape and a real challenge. driving accuracy is a must!

First time playing - great experience! First class operation: pro shop is well stocked and staff is friendly & professional; restaurant staff is very friendly and the food is very good and very reasonably priced; course layout & condition is excellent - the only blemish is the bunkers need better drainage & conditioning. Shana, the beverage cart operator, was very friendly and professional. I consider the greens fees a value given the quality of the entire facility & operation. I will definitely return!

This is really a nice course, and a very good value. A parkland course with very nice trees; well maintained, with nice amenities. I'm not a great golfer, and I found the course suited me well - not easy, but not super difficult either (such as nearby Kampen, a very challenging course). Highly recommended.

The management of this golf course is terrible. They don't allow any walking on the course on some days and force people to play only with a cart. The staff keeps urging people to use the cart even if people walk about ten steps on the course to make them play fast. A golf course should not be a racing track. When we complained to the staff about the next group hitting the balls over our heads, he said you should go to another course, not here. We will never come back here.

Never been a big fan of Irwin's designs - they're too cookie-cutter and unimaginative for my tastes - and that opinion carries here. And courses having a highly visible housing component like this one just flat out get a big "meh".
As for the layout, there are some decent holes (3, 5, 9, 14) mixed in, but there are a lot of forgettable throwaways. On top of that, 10-11 are just plain stupid. No low-handicap player playing the back tees should be forced to choose between a mid-iron or a 100-yard hook or slice with a driver off the tee on a par four.
The course has always been in decent-to-good shape and I had no complaints with the staff or the amenities, but if you're a good player and/or an architecture snob, you're better off at Battle Ground or the Purdue courses.
