Everyone at our gym has a "help first" mentality. Whatever you need to get stronger, leaner, or increase your sports performance, we want to help you get there. Our gym offers a wide variety of classes and class times, so it’ll be easy to fit a class you love into your schedule. I’ve never done CrossFit before and was a little unsure if this was the right fit for me when I first started. I loved it! The trainers here are friendly and dedicated to seeing you succeed. They work with every level of fitness and guide you to be in your best form. Stepping in to this gym feels like stepping in to see family and friends - the atmosphere the equipment and the other members are absolutely wonderful! I’ve now started my individual design programming and each workout is carefully curated to my goals and abilities and it’s been great. 10/10!

It’s officially been a year since I joined, and it has truly been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for myself. I am not the same person.. physically,
mentally, or emotionally. The atmosphere of this place has spilled into every area of my life in the best possible ways.

The coaches are incredible! They’re knowledgeable, patient, helpful, funny, dedicated, and just genuinely good people. I have stage 4 endometriosis and have dealt with knee problems throughout the year, and every single coach has met me exactly where I’m at each time. The InBody scan sessions with Robby are also fantastic. They’re insightful, keep me accountable, and always offer tangible, realistic advice for improving my health and habits. They really do what they can to help set you up to reach your goals, and then you have to choose to do the work. Within a year I have lost weight, gained muscle and have learned to be more in control of my nutrition. This area of my life no longer feels bigger than me!

The classes are my favorite part. It’s actually fun to work alongside other people, and one of the best things is that our strength and skill levels are all mixed. I’m definitely not one of the strongest, but no one has ever made me feel weak or embarrassed. If anything, they’ve only helped me feel capable. You practically have a team of hype-men! On the days I don’t feel like showing up, I still go because I know they’ll be there.
You’re surrounded by encouraging, friendly people who are all dedicated to becoming the best versions of themselves. And there’s always some kind of laughter in the midst of the sweat which honestly might be my favorite part.

I’m so proud to be part of CrossFit South Bend, and I’ll always be grateful for the day I walked through those doors and began something that has truly changed my life and will continue to for years to come. I will never go to a different gym!

Awesome experience here so far! Im a 40 yr old guy with two busy kids. Had a great introduction and orientation with Brandon, who clearly knows his stuff, on my first two visits. He took into account where I was in my physical fitness journey and tailored a program for me before I jumped into classes. Once classes began, I was hooked. I have had classes with each of the coaches at least one time but most of my classes have been with Emma. She is great. She's is knowledgeable, fun, and easy going, a real pleasure to be around! Programming has been challenging but not anything that I cannot do or have found modifications for. Variety has been great too, once I feel like we have done some movements for a while, they switch things up and keep it fresh. Overall, the atmosphere is encouraging and friendly, no indimitation or feeling of "im not doing enough". This is a holistic type of gym, where the nutrition and lifestyle goals go hand in hand with the fitness goals. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend Crossfit South Bend!🖤

I joined CFSB about 4 months ago, and it has been life-changing! I was so nervous to get out of my comfort zone and start something new. However, soon after my first class, I knew this was my gym! I felt right at home almost instantly. These past 4 months have been unexplainably rewarding, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. CFSB is unlike any gym I've previously been to. They are the most positive, uplifting community of people, and I am so grateful to be apart of it. Everyone is incredibly kind and welcoming. The coaches are so knowledgeable and 100% devoted to your success. The programming is very well thought out. Both challenging and fun in the best ways. The facility is always clean and has a wide variety of equipment available to use. There are many class times throughout the day and even some weekend classes. If you're on the fence, definitely come check it out! My only complaint is that I wish I'd joined sooner!

All beginners are welcome. This is a friendly and humble environment. There's a variety of class sessions, open gym hours, nutrition courses, and goal setting sessions. The class sessions are very well paced you won't even notice an hour flying bye. But, you will feel it in the morning.😅

I’ve been going to CrossFit South Bend for about 4 months now and could not be happier. I went in with two goals: show up consistently and lose a few pounds. After a couple of classes I had no trouble at all convincing myself to keep going. The workouts are fun and challenging, but able to be scaled down to a personalized level if needed. The coaches are knowledgeable, down to earth, and kind. Most importantly to me, it’s a very judgement free zone that doesn’t feel like other gyms I’ve been to.

When I started I had a ‘goals session’ that included body composition scanning via an InBody scale. When comparing my initial scan vs my 3 month follow up scan, I had lost 4% body fat and added on 4# of muscle. I feel better and stronger almost weekly. To summarize— CFSB rocks and I wish I had started sooner!

CFSB has been life-changing for me! It is not your typical gym and is a place where everybody belongs regardless of fitness level. The coaches are outstanding and truly care about you as a person. They make sure that you are lifting appropriately and offer tips and feedback as needed. The programming is top-notch. It’s very rewarding to see where you start at the beginning of a programming block and how you progress and grow each week. The community and culture is amazing! The classes are so much fun and everybody is so kind. If classes aren’t your thing, they also offer individual design. They truly partner with you on your health, fitness and nutrition and will help you find a program that aligns with your needs and goals. I have had some personal setbacks this year and they walked alongside me to get me back on track. I really can’t imagine being anywhere else on my health and fitness journey!

This is the best gym I‘ve ever been too. All the trainers are super friendly and competent! The atmosphere is super welcoming and safe. All fitness levels are welcome and if you can‘t do something, they always find a way to switch up the workout for you. Definitely not your standard CrossFit gym and that‘s why I love it here!

CFSB has challenged me to rediscover myself for the better, it has truly changed my life. Before CFSB I was struggling with my mental and physical health. I tried to make a change on my own and tried several gyms but never knew what I was doing or simply know where to start. Starting with CFSB, my coach sat down with me and was very attentive to what my goals were. I have been active my whole life and never felt to the need to involve a coach. Last February I went into CFSB for an assessment out of desperation. I was unable to use my right shoulder for a lot of day to day activities, and my hip had become painful enough that I was unable to enjoy cycling anymore. When I sat down with Brandon for the consult, I was very skeptical about whether I or not this would be something that would be able to help, as I had tried many things prior. Brandon was patient, listened to all my concerns, asked a lot of questions to better understand my goals, and challenged me on what I was willing to put into the program to reach these goals. He was supportive and never pushy. I went home and sat on things for about a week before making a decision. Brandon was great at following up with me, without pressuring me to “sign up”. I decided I had nothing to lose and jumped in. They paired me with an awesome coach, Justin. He has been calm, and consistent and given me just the right program design for my specific needs and goals. He takes the daily and weekly feedback I give him and makes any modifications needed to the plan, as well as great suggestions on how to improve in areas to get the best results. One month into the program I was able to start using my shoulder again for not only daily activities, but actual “workouts”. Two months in I am able to bike again almost completely pain free and actually enjoy it. I would highly recommend CFSB to anyone who has had physical limitations and/or pain that is affecting their life. Their individual design program is worth the investment. They are definitely a community who cares about others, and will help guide you toward living your best life. If you are ready and willing to trust and put in the work, they are ready to deliver great results!

This is for sure a crossfit gym with great crossfit classes and coaches, but you don’t have to do the classes to fit right in! CFSB offers other programs including individualized plans where you work one-on-one with a coach. My coach is tremendous. We meet monthly in person, we have weekly video check ins where he lays out my workout program for the following week, and he always answers any questions that might arise. Everybody is so nice and respectful. I can be doing my individual workout while a class is going on and everybody gets along beautifully. I have tried MANY gyms and programs over the years, this is the first one I’ve attended consistently and don’t dread coming too!

I was nervous to join CrossFit because I wasn't sure whether I would be able to "keep up," but that's not a question at this gym. You belong here! CrossFit South Bend meets the athletic needs and goals of everyone, whether through personalized coaching or class workouts. The coaches are SO knowledgeable, motivating, and personable. I love this place! I do not have a history with athletics and I did the fundamentals sessions, which were very helpful! There are adaptations for different levels of fitness at every class. Everyone is super sweet and welcoming. As a beginner I was intimidated but that was foolish. Plus it’s way more fun that doing stupid elliptical or etc. Highly recommend!

Love this place!! I moved to Texas about 5 months ago but I still work with CrossFit south bend’s individual design program. I haven’t seen a gym/coaches that invest so much in their clients. Best gym I have ever been apart of. Everyone treats you like family. I personally chose the personal design program they offer. It is amazing! The coaches truly care about your success. The culture at this gym is amazing. My classmates and other gym members offer warm welcomes and are eager to include new people. I experienced that myself first hand. We work hard, but it’s a fun, inclusive and relaxed environment where everyone is super respectful and supportive. Unlike the news or social media, this gym is a positive uplifting place with members that are like family. The culture among the members at CFSB is no doubt a product of the top quality coaching staff. My schedule is wacky and they offer classes at a wide range of times so I’ve worked with a lot of the coaches and they are all fantastic. They genuinely love what they do and it shows in the way they offer movement coaching and suggestions as well as genuine support and encouragement.

They tell me what to do in class and I do it. I don't have to figure out what my workout should be, they do that. Just what this upper 40's dog needs.

The staff is great and the people that attend are friendly. I would highly recommend you take them up on their Free Intro.

For me 15-20 years of doing pretty much nothing made me hesitant to do much of anything. I have joined other gyms over the years and would just end up on a couple of machines each time there with no real goal or purpose.

That is where this gym sounded different and for me it is. I love the daily classes and having a coach there guiding us. Helping set goals and modifying moves to each person's needs. It was a bit of a whirlwind for the first few weeks, learning new things. However I never felt left behind, someone is always helping when needed.

I am quite happy to have found a place that fits what I need. It is definitely a place I recommend to anyone that asks.

Great community to be a part of! Everyday there is a different workout you’ve never done before. I only go 3 days a week m,w,f at their 6:30 am class. Having good form is really emphasized and the instructors there are really good at guiding you. I’m not dying sweating everyday, but some days do feel more challenging than others. I think it’s probably the most sophisticated workout group you can go to. My only complaint is they don’t offer a 6:30 am class Tuesday and Thursday, and it’s already tough waking up for the 6:30 am class.

Working with Coach Justin in the Individual Design program on strength, nutrition, and sleep has been life-changing for me. When I signed up for the Reboot Program at CFSB in February 2022, I was quite nervous since I had never done CrossFit before and I wasn't sure if I could keep up with the class. However, the coaches at CFSB have done an excellent job of introducing me to CrossFit and I have loved working out at this gym ever since!

All the coaches I have worked with are very friendly, welcoming, and knowledgable. They are always attentive towards everyone in the class and provide valuable feedback to improve form and performance while avoiding injuries. Working out at CFSB gives me the sense that the coaches truly want you to succeed in your journey to fitness!

The workouts for the 1-hour classes are thoughtfully designed and balanced to improve strength and stamina. They are very mindful of people at different levels of fitness and accommodate everyone by providing workout variations that are equally effective.

Periodic nutrition coaching and discussions have personally helped me identify and eliminate some bad dietary habits (work in progress!) while adopting healthy and sustainable ones.

This gym provides a truly welcoming environment to work towards your fitness goals. The staff, coaches, and other members are simply wonderful! I am sincerely glad I joined this gym! 100% would recommend!

I was so nervous to start Crossfit, not just because I'd never done this before but because I'm almost 51 and a curvy lady 🤗 . It's been years since I was in a gym and even when I did go to a gym I'd never done much with weights. I signed up for the fundamentals with Amy as my coach and she was so life giving! She took time to educate me on all the basics which increased my confidence. I've now attended classes for three weeks and I love that there are always modifications. I don't feel embarrassed at all because I keep in mind something Amy said, which was "everybody started somewhere". I absolutely love this gym! It is a great place to work out, and it's also a community of awesome people. I started attending in June 2022, and I felt instantly welcome.

As someone who has worked out regularly all my life, I was looking for a new workout regimen, and something to challenge me. The workouts are structured so that everyone from beginner to elite athlete can be challenged at their own level. The coaches do an excellent job explaining each workout and coaching people throughout.

The facility is always in spotless condition, and very conveniently located. There are many time options for classes, and if you can't make it to one of those, you can work out during an open gym session, or work out elsewhere (as you can see each day's workout on the gym's nifty app).

I highly recommend this gym to anyone who is looking to up their fitness game or who is seeking a local CrossFit community.

My husband and I started going here after years of powerlifting and strength training. We have been members at multiple gyms in the area, but CrossFit/Olympic Lifting were fairly new to us (so you can imagine we were a little hesitant to start something as “newbies”). We both train for Olympic lifting now at CFSB.
The coaches are great and super motivating. They’ve really helped us grow and develop in new lifts and exercises in just a short amount of time. The coaches actually take the time to get to know you and understand your strengths and your weaknesses to best create and work towards your goals. They are experienced in the sports they coach and each of them brings unique insights and value to the members.
Not only the coaches though, the entire CFSB community is amazing. Everyone empowers each other. We are all really one big team and being part of a team has always been really important to me coming from being an athlete my whole life. It’s so great to have an atmosphere of supportive teammates (especially when you have goals that push you and challenge you a lot). I know that every time I walk into the gym, someone, whether it’s a coach, a member, or even the owner, will greet me. I joined CrossFit South Bend after a few year hiatus from CrossFit due to the pandemic and I am so glad I found CFSB! The programming is a good balance of strength and stamina that is sustainable. I started at Crossfit South Bend about 4 months ago, and I started with the Reboot Program. Amy was amazing and essential to getting me to stick with it. I hadn't really been active at all since high-school, and was honestly pretty intimidated! Amy works with ANYBODY and can find them a good starting point and meet you where you're at! The goal here is functional fitness, and tailoring that to fit your goals! She stresses key factors like sleep and nutrition, but also give you a personalized nutrition guide, and that was incredibly helpful for me!

The coaches are experienced fitness professionals who not only understand body dynamics, fitness and nutrition, but genuinely care about the members and helping them improve and reach their goals. Everyone here is so welcoming and encouraging to each other.
I had no CrossFit experience when I started a few years ago. My intention was just to tone up a bit after baby #2. I was pretty sure I was not going to like it; barbells and weights seemed intimidating to me, since most of my past fitness experience was with yoga. I specifically mentioned to Amy, the head coach, that I would probably not want to work with barbells. She said, "just give it a try," and, actually, Olympic lifting has become my favorite type of workout.
The programming here is top-notch. Whereas some gyms cycle through generic programming that they purchase, the owners at CFSB design their own programming based on the needs of the gym members, with various scalings built in so that each individual gets a great workout and continuously makes improvements, no matter what level they are at in their fitness journey.
If you are looking for a gym, I highly recommend that you take the time to drop in here and see for yourself how welcoming everyone is, how kind and professional the coaches are, and how carefully thought out the fitness programming is.
There is also a Functional Diagnostic Nutritionist, Robby, in-house who is extremely knowledgeable and so helpful with nutrition-related health concerns.

I have had memberships at many local gyms in the area over the past few years. (Beacon, Charter, Fitstop24 etc..) none of them were able to give me what CFSB has. CFSB has given me that desire to be working out again. The team here excels in their knowledge on whole body fitness AND wellness. I was looking online for crossfit gyms. I came across this one. I requested a goal session and Amy texted me the next day to set up my goal session appointment for that week. When I got there Amy was so friendly. She walked me around the gym then we got to my goals. Never once did she make me feel embarrassed or like I couldn't do it. She was motivating and kind. I decided to join Amy was my one on one teacher to show me the proper way to do everything we will end up doing in the classes. She has texted me three times already to check in with me to make sure I feel okay soreness wise and to make sure I'm still enjoying the classes.. I signed up a year membership. Since I have been to 3 classes two of which Meg coached and she helps so much she pushes you but never out of your comfort zone. Every coach so far as been great along with the other gym members! The gym has all the typical equipment you would expect of a CrossFit / lifting gym, but what really makes this place special are the amazing coaches and long-term members. CFSB is an amazing place to work out. It feels like a second home. The coaches are always wonderfully supportive and knowledgable. They have always been great about giving me scalings and helping me find a way to get the stimulus even if I can't do the activity, either because of injury or physical limitations. When I first started here, I was self-conscious and wasn't physically active. I couldn't even run when I began! In my time here, I've done more than I even thought I was capable of. Through workouts and nutrition coaching, I've lost 100lbs and have been keeping it off. I've run a mile in under 10 minutes for the first time ever, gotten pull-ups, and deadlifted 300+ lbs. I feel like the best version of myself.

I was a member for about a year and started with the Oly class. I absolutely loved that class! It was mentally and physically tough and it was just what I needed. The coaches were great and really knew their stuff. The whole team was fantastic and tried to engage me during my time there. Work travel got in the way and made it more and more difficult to go in, but they were still reaching out and encouraging me. I also loved the nutrition coaching I received and it was exactly what i needed when i couldn't make it in due to travel but wanted to improve my “on the road” nutrition!

I joined Crossfit South Bend when we were brand new to the area. I immediately felt welcomed and a part of the community. The upkeep of the facilities and equipment are excellent and they are constantly updating and getting new equipment for members to use. I have been so impressed by the programming, so much time and effort goes into the layout of the workouts and every cycle to ensure skill growth and development. Their programming takes into account the beginner Crossfitter all the way to very experienced Crossfitters. I recently had my 2nd child and was able to continue Crossfit right up until the day before she was born due to knowledgeable coaches knowing the best modifications to keep me safe and active. I was able to have a smooth transition back into Crossfit after having her for the same reasons. If you're looking for a positive community of people and a great place to workout, this is it. CFSB is a different kind of gym. It’s not a place where you find rows and rows of exercise machines, where anyone can walk in and get lost in the maze of equipment that you’re not really sure how to use. For me, CFSB is a gym where you go to get the best and most challenging workout, learn from the best and most knowledgeable coaching staff in the area, who not only care about your safety with all the movements, but care about your progress within your fitness journey, feel encouraged and accepted by everyone you encounter, regain control of your health and nutritional habits, and build friendships with a diverse group of people. I’ve never experienced a gym like CFSB in my life, and I’ve been to quite a few gyms in my lifetime. If you want more than the typical ‘you’re just another number’ gym, then check out CFSB.

I started at CFSB I was looking for a gym that made working out "not horrible." I also had no experience lifting weights. I thought I would do a 3 month commitment and quit with little expectation that CFSB would be any different from experiences at any other gym. After about a month I was hooked. The coaches were incredibly friendly and were very kind in helping this newbie- with lots of options for scaling to a person's ability. And the classes move in a way that makes an hour fly by. I've been coming here for 8 years. I love this gym because it has so much to offer. No matter your skill level there is much to gain here. The work outs are well balanced between strength and cardio. There is a focus on flexibility with gymnastics skills thrown in as well.
There are flexible classes throughout M-F with a few classes on Saturday/Sunday.
They offer assistance on weight loss, diet and individualized training programs. These can benefit everyone from the novice to the experienced.
The social aspect of the gym is great too. The coaches are friendly and try to give individualized attention each class. Everyone in the gym is nice and there is great friendly competition.
There are events throughout the year that bring members of the gym together from both a social and work out perspective.
If you are looking for something new, a change from monotony or are ready to take the next step and try some competitions, you will not be disappointed!

I joined up a couple months ago thanks to a bring-a-friend week which led to a sort of re-boot to teach me the movements, motions, and positions. Since that re-boot, things have been getting easier to do in classes, which has helped exponentially at this point with my life.

This is really an outstanding gym. Whether you are starting in fitness, new to Crossfit, or you are a more advanced athlete, CFSB has programs to help you reach your goals. In the past 12 months, I've taken advantage of the group classes, the Olympic Weightlifting program, individual design programming, and my kids have participated in their CF Kids program. Each of these programs was excellent: well-designed and well-coached. There is even a dedication nutrition programming, which I haven't tried, but other gym members rave about.
