I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this dance studio. Not only are the prices outrageous for the level of instruction provided, but the overall quality of the classes is mediocre at best.

What’s worse, during a recent recital, my child had an allergic reaction, and the staff’s response was shockingly lackluster. There was no sense of urgency, and it felt like they couldn’t care less about my child’s well-being. I had to handle the situation myself, which was incredibly stressful and unsettling.

For the prices they charge, I expected much more—both in terms of the dance instruction and the care for students. I would not recommend this studio to anyone, especially for families with children who may need extra attention and consideration.

Note: Ms. Nesha was a wonderful instructor, and this review is strictly for management and owners!

My daughter and I were so excited to check out a class from this studio but unfortunately I dont think it's going to happen. I signed my kid up for one class via the website, which was a little confusing. So once I registered her I tried to reach out to the studio to get a schedule and to hopefully better understand how the process works. This happened on 4/18 and after 3 phone calls, 2 voicemails and an email no one has gotten back to me. Kind of feel like This place is just taking people's money but I am truly hoping that is not case. It will be 10 days on Thursday since I paid for registration, so hopefully I hear something by then otherwise I will dispute with bank.

Update: To your reply No you don’t have the name Erica Chosen to prevent retaliation on my family. But my family and I did attend your classes. I will add on more to my previous review. One situation we stood outside for 30 mins calling and emailing no one was there finally a man comes there let’s us in and to our surprise another teacher and another routine to learn. If you are local find another dance studio and the owner does not appreciate her customers. No apology no credit given for this horrible service.

Where do I began? I agree with the other reviewer as this company is Unprofessional, never on time and too many added on payments. Owner seems to be unclear what the pricing is. Owner changed the forms around and monthly payment wasn’t correct. Now they have a new autopay payment method . Be aware of leaving your card on file. An amount was taken out before the due dAte. I had to call to fix the problem. Here is another issue out of 6 weeks session we had 4 different teachers because one teacher hurt herself. No one could step up to say I’ll teach the class every week for six week program. This recital was a joke, it was more like a practice and kids look confused. It’s not there fault this program was unorganized. I’m done I have more but I’ll stop here.

I signed my daughter to attend a 6 week hip-hop class starting in April 2021. The hours listed on the flyer stated the class will start at 5:00-5:45 on Thursdays. I arrived as scheduled at 5pm with my daughter, only to be turned away with a disappointed 8yr old. I was told the hip-hop teacher made an error on the flyer, and class is now at 4:15. When I expressed to the instructor this is a conflict with my schedule, due to the distance from home, my kids home school schedule, and my business schedule; the answer I received was how she also travels from Flossmoor and that she is able to make it. What a rude and inconsiderate thing to say, I don't care about YOUR schedule I paid for a service based on MY schedule & what works for me. Needless to say, I will not return due to the lack of communication and rudness.

Update! I did receive a credit back and the owner did attempt to reach me. I am very pleased with this decision.

I absolutely love this studio! Sierra's heels classes, Neecie's heels and hip hop classes, Essie's heels classes, Bellarose's stretch and flexibility classes, and Nias ballet and contemporary classes are literally the best and so affordable. I enjoy going to everyone's classes every week :)

I absolutely love this studio....I have been taking the heels class for a couple months and I’m hooked!!! Sierra is an amazing choreography and her classes are so much fun. I strongly recommend anyone to try it out you will see why I enjoy it so much!!!

I LOVE this studio. It’s always so nice clean ! The staff is amazing and very professional. The space is also good too ! The heels classes that I attend every week are challenging, encouraging, fun, and sassy. The atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming as well. The more you go to class, the more learn, grow, and also become apart of a dance family.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this studio! Since I started coming here, I’ve gained friends, skills, and CONFIDENCE! I especially appreciate Sierra for being so helpful and patient with all of her students! Whether you’re a dancer or not, her classes will make you feel like a dancer! Highly recommend!

I take heels, hip-hop and ballet there. Instructors are amazing, so helpful, so caring, so inspiring!!! Always uplifting women to become better. It's my safe place to just let loose, release and be me. I love Dancing Around Dance Studio. Check them out!!!!!!!

I’ve had the opportunity to take classes at many studios from LA fo Chicago to New York and classes with Sierra have been some of the most enjoyable I’ve taken. It’s an open environment and Sierra makes sure that the classes are catered to beginners and the more experienced alike. definitely one of my favorite studios!

Amazing open space, the floors are great and there's a lot of mirror space. Very professional looking studio; clean and well kept.

If I could them zero stars I would. The school of course is closed due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. The owner sees nothing wrong with continuing to charge parents when they are no longer providing dance class. The owner went to the extent of withdrawing my daughter from the class because I voiced my opinion that it was unethical to charge parents when classes were no longer in session. Said I was irrate. Telling me you are going to charge me for a service you are no longer providing will make anyone irrate. Beware of this school. The owner should have stepped up and did the right thing during the pandemic; Which was not charge parents while the school was closed. They don't care about the students or the parents.

I actually was here for the gym section which is called edge fitness they have a variety of work outside and option for daily passes which I like
It looks a little outdated but I really dint mind that.
